We really like that image.

As always, we don’t allow ignorant trolling comments out of moderation to be linked with the original post, but we will present some of them in subsequent posts for the purpose of public derision and mockery. As we see fit.

This comment was submitted today in response to Campaign Finance: Aurora, Colorado (September 17, 2023):

Ha Ha CLCP.. Got your disgusting little Rick Brattin smear yesterday. Two minutes later I discover that you’re just rabid, toxic left wing democrats who worship at the alter of holy abortion, which tells all the folks in Rick’s district that he’s doing a great job defending life in Missouri! I wonder if his opponent stands as strong for life? I DOUBT IT! GODSPEED RICK BRATTIN!

“…I wonder if his opponent stands as strong for life?…”

Which opponent?:

Certified Candidate List
2024 Primary Election

State Senator – District 31
Republican

Name Mailing Address Random Number Date Filed

Rick Brattin P. O. BOX 421 HARRISONVILLE MO 64701 45 2/27/2024

Abortion rights will be on the November ballot:

Missourians for Constitutional Freedom
[May 3, 2024]
[….] In just three months, 380k+ Missourians from every corner of our state have signed the petition to end the abortion ban! Today, we delivered those signatures to the Secretary of State. [….]

“…you’re just rabid, toxic left wing democrats who worship at the alter of holy abortion…”

Apparently, there is more than one “left-wing” Democrat.

This morning in Jefferson City, Missouri – delivering the signed petitions (May 3, 2024)

Wheeling boxes of signed petitions into the building.

CLCP? What’s that?

Certified Loss Control Professional?

Certified Life Care Planner?

Crosslinked Liquid Crystalline Polymer?

Certified Literacy Community Program?

Chinese Language and Culture Program?

Uh, that one was paid for by a right wingnut PAC supporting Mark Alford (r).

Community Litter Cleanup Program?

Customized Language Culture Program?

Just asking.

I find it interesting that people complain about our representatives and senators in DC looking into Biden’s possible wrong doings for years and his policies and attempts to push big government! But the same people were and are quick to jump on the bandwagon to take Trump down and now out! Are the same people that are blind to what is happening to our country! If the same people don’t wake up, we will be just like China and all these other socialist countries now and former! I applaud Hawley for his efforts, even though I don’t agree with everything he says or does!

There’s literally no story here. One quote and some hand selected responses to it? What happened to real reporting/writing/journalism?

You could follow the original link.

You wouldn’t know real reporting/writing/journalism if it bit you in the ass.

Here’s the thing – there’s nothing stopping you from starting up your own site and demonstrating your superior grasp of the principles of real reporting/writing/journalism, is there? But you won’t.

Or, alternately, you could get a cushy gig writing op-eds for some national media chain. Heh.

I live in Missouri as I have my entire life. The only representative that did anything for the people was Eric Robert Greitens! He truly did care and fought for us! Guess that’s why they made sure to get rid of him. He should be in office now atleast then Missouri citizens would have a voice! Neither Eric Schmitt nor Holly Ryder truly speak for Missouri Citizens unless it’s done to put on a face for an election! Makes you wonder if acting school is a requirement now to be a politician?

Seriously?

This is so 2018. The Eric Greitens (r) part that is. It’s been over five years.

Do you mean Holly Rehder (r), the state senator?

Attempted trolling comment submitted today in response to Campaign Finance: “Oil, that is…” (June 20, 2023):

You just listed the SAME donation 6 times. I checked the registration numbers. What kind of inflated reporting is this? The same information listed 6 times is just inflammatory reporting .

Read the following SLOWLY so you can try to understand it. SOUND out the words, if that helps:

There were six different receiving entities, each with a unique Missouri Ethics Commission ID, each receiving $15,000.00, each reporting separately on June 20th.

C190996 06/20/2023 Conservative Leaders of Missouri
C171235 06/20/2023 Missouri Senior PAC
C131007 06/20/2023 Missouri Growth PAC
C151156 06/20/2023 MO Majority PAC
C171229 06/20/2023 Missouri C PAC
C141393 06/20/2023 Missouri AG PAC

[emphasis added]

There was one contributing entity, which made six separate contributions in the amount of $15,000.00 each to different receiving entities. If you need help with the math, that’s $90,000.00 total on June 20th.

Warrenton Oil Company 2299 South Spoede Truesdale MO 63380 6/20/2023

[emphasis added]

Interestingly, the reported address of the contributing entity has the same typo for five of the six reporting receiving entities:

Warrenton Oil Company 2299 South Spoede 2299 South Spoede Truesdale MO 63380 6/20/2023

[emphasis added]

What’s with that?

“…I checked the registration numbers…” No, you didn’t.
