Apparently.

Mark Alford (r) [2025 file photo]

Today:

Congressman Mark Alford
[March 31, 2026]

Democrats left TSA workers without pay. President Trump stepped in and got them paid.
Now airport lines are moving again—and Americans are seeing the difference. The left must stop playing games, fund DHS & end the chaos.
[….]

A day early. Heh.

Some of the responses to Mark Alford (r):

Why didn’t Trump do this earlier?

He can only take Emergency action when it becomes an actual emergency.

Cool. So only a week in was not an emergency? Calling in ICE was not an emergency?

The Republicans kept voting to not pay the TSA workers, the congressman from Missouri speaks with a crooked tongue.

Republicans voted against paying them 7 times.
Still not requiring ICE ro follow normal police procedures.

Now that’s funny Mark!

“Solved” the problem that he caused. It’s the equivalent of praising your teenager for totalling their car but doing a great job finding a new one.

weird…the democrats have controlled 0 branches of government in the last 12 months. Therefore…it can’t be their fault??? Weird.

Funny that.

Trump caused the problem.
Trump solved the problem.
Trump is the hero! 🙄

So he had the ability to do that the whole time¿¿

Solving a self created problem, nice.

Problem created and then announced solved. It isn’t solved…you people aren’t working together. Every day it gets more ridiculous.

The Democrats had nine different legislative proposals for funding TSA don’t lie

asking these GOP Congressmen not to lie isn’t possible..every post is a lie with them

He could of done that weeks ago but he chose to let them suffer, just like Republicans did the eight times they voted against a bill to pay TSA workers.

yep, because Trump is the biggest drama queen

So he could have payed them the entire time?

he was trying to use them as a threat to bully the Dems into passing the SAVE Act which hands elections over to his fed govt—so they “never lose again” as he said

And you are on a 2 week vacation.

Lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 soooooo He is a hero for doing something he could have done in the beginning

He gets a participation trophy, too.

Great job solving the problem you caused.

Why didn’t he do that to begin with?🤡

Thou shalt not lie.

When did control of the White House, Congress and the Senate shift to the Democrats?

Wow … he keeps solving the problems he creates

Please tell me how it was the democrats. What were republicans willing to negotiate on? I’m seriously curious, because I only heard what the democrats put forth to come to some resolution, I haven’t seen what the republicans put forth.

Cause a problem, temporary fix the problem, claim a victory. The maga way

So he could have done this the whole time, instead used TSA workers as pawns in political theater and you think that makes him admirable?

The No Kings demonstration today in Lee’s Summit was scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. By 9:00 a.m. individuals started gathering in the cold to line the right of way along Chipman Road east of Douglas. By 10:15 a.m. over a thousand people were holding protest signs, with more arriving.

“…Sucker and a Loser”

“We the people…”

There was a significant amount of supportive horn honking from passing traffic. Early on a pair of Karens rolled down the windows on their SUV which was stopped at the the traffic signal to excoriate the protesters. The didn’t seem to be pleased about the large turnout:

6th Congressional District, Congress, retirement, right wingnut, Sam Graves, sycophant, Trump sycophant

Today:

Sam Graves
[March 27, 2026]

When I first ran for State Representative back in 1992, my aspiration was to represent my hometown of Tarkio, Missouri. I was a twenty-seven year old farmer who just wanted to stand up for a way of life and his community. I never could have imagined where that decision would take me.

For 8 years in the Missouri House and Senate, I fought for Northwest Missourians. From deregulating vehicle inspections, to standing for chain gangs, to securing funding for rural schools in the desegregation fight, I never lost sight of why I was sent to Jefferson City. Then, in 2000, the good, hardworking people of Missouri’s Sixth District entrusted me to be their voice in Congress.

For 26 years, I have had the privilege of serving, culminating in becoming the Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and passing some of the most significant legislation in our nation’s history. The responsibility entrusted to me is not something I have ever taken for granted. Not for a single day.

What I’m most proud of is the work my team did when Washington made life harder for the people of Missouri’s Sixth. Together, we stood with hundreds of thousands of Missourians in their toughest moments. We helped them cut through red tape and navigate a system that often felt stacked against them. We got them answers and fought to deliver real results when they needed them most.

I’ve said all of that to say this: After considerable reflection, 2026 will be my final year in Congress. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one. I believe in making room for the next generation. It’s time to pass the torch and allow a new guard of conservative leaders to step forward and chart a path forward for Missourians.

That doesn’t mean I’m slowing down, not even close. As I enter the 4th quarter of my life, I have more left in me. As many of you know, I don’t let grass grow under my feet. We’ve still got a lot of work to do. I’m going to fight to protect Missouri interests as we work to shape this year’s Highway Bill. I plan to finish this last term the same way I started, full speed ahead.

Maintaining our strong democratic republic will always depend on good people stepping up to serve from every corner of our great nation. I’m grateful for my colleagues in both parties, for the people I’ve worked alongside, and even for the opponents who challenged me and made me better. Public service isn’t easy. It takes hard work, humility, a thick skin, and a willingness to fight for what’s right
.
At the end of the day, I’m still the farmer from Northwest Missouri. You’ll find me back home on the farm nearly every weekend, after all, it is planting season. In fact, I’ll probably be on a tractor this weekend. And come Monday, I’ll be heading back through Kansas City on my way to D.C. to keep doing the job you sent me there to do.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

It has been the honor of a lifetime.

Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

“…to standing for chain gangs, to securing funding for rural schools in the desegregation fight…”

The 1950s called, they want their cultural hegemony back.

Some of the viewable responses to Sam Graves (r):

You haven’t had a Townhall since 2012. We don’t care.

on to lucrative lobbying. prob farm bureau.

Now let’s replace him with someone who CARES about the WORKING CLASS !!

This evening:

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

The Radical Left Democrats, and their “Leader,” Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, have made it very clear where they stand, and that is, ON THE SIDE OF CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS, AND NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. They are refusing to fund Immigration Enforcement unless the Republicans agree to their Open Border Policies, which will never, ever happen again. They almost destroyed our Country, allowing 25 Million People to enter from Prisons, Mental Institutions, and Insane Asylums, those that are Drug Dealers, and thousands of Murderers, many of whom killed more than one person. Because the Democrats have recklessly created a true National Crisis, I am using my authorities under the Law to protect our Great Country, as I always will do! Therefore, I am going to sign an Order instructing the Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, to immediately pay our TSA Agents in order to address this Emergency Situation, and to quickly stop the Democrat Chaos at the Airports. It is not an easy thing to do, but I am going to do it! I want to thank our hardworking TSA Agents and also, ICE, for the incredible help they have given us at the Airports. I will not allow the Radical Left Democrats to hold our Country hostage any longer. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Rick Brattin for Congress
[March 22, 2026]

I fully support President Trump’s decision to send ICE agents to Kansas City International Airport (KCI) or any other airport across the nation.
While Democrats in Congress — including Sen. Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi & Rep. Emanuel Cleaver — continue to play political games and refuse to properly fund the Department of Homeland Security and TSA, American travelers are facing longer lines, delays, and real security risks.
President Trump is taking action to keep our skies safe and our country secure. It’s time to stop the partisan obstruction and put America First.

“…I fully support President Trump’s decision to send ICE agents to Kansas City International Airport (KCI)…” To do what? Lean against the wall and get paid?

Uh, it’s MCI.

Missouri SOS Reports Referendum on HB1 Has Enough Signatures to Qualify for Ballot
Press Release / March 23, 2026

Politicians cannot implement gerrymandered map without voter approval

The Missouri Secretary of State’s Office signature verification report today confirms that a sufficient number of signatures were collected, in every required congressional district, to put a referendum on the November ballot giving Missouri voters the final say in the state legislature’s illegally gerrymandered congressional district map.

In a petition drive spearheaded by People Not Politicians Missouri, more than 300,000 signatures were collected statewide to give voters their right to challenge the unprecedented, unconstitutional mid-census redistricting.

Richard von Glahn of People Not Politicians Missouri issued the following statement in response to the SOS report:

“Today’s confirmation is a decisive victory for democracy and for the people of Missouri. Volunteers across the state didn’t just meet the bar, they shattered it, sending a clear message that voters will not stand for politicians rigging the rules mid-game. HB1 must be stopped in its tracks. And in November, Missourians will make the final call. This is what democracy looks like: people, not politicians, deciding who represents them.”
