4th Congressional District, campaign mail, Mark Alford, New Hampshire, Primary, right wingnut

We get campaign mail.

Former newsreader Mark Alford (r) is one of a sea of right wingnut republicans running in the republican primary for the open seat in Missouri’s 4th congressional District.

Burn pits, anyone? Universal access to affordable healthcare? Gun violence? Death penalty? If Mark Alord (r) wins the primary will the election be “secure”? If he loses the primary will it be “stolen”? Just asking.

As opposed to “the liberals on the right”?

Try “Whip Inflation Now”. That worked out so very well.

First in what way? Like this?:

4th Congressional District, Johnson County, Mark Alford, missouri, right wingnut, Warrensburg

Yesterday evening Mark Alford (r), former newsreader and one of several republican candidates in the 4th Congressional District, made a campaign appearance in front of a small crowd on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn in Warrensburg.

Mark Alford (r).

Speaking to the gathering:

Mark Alford (r) is not interested in your responses:

From Mark Alford’s campaign web site (look it up, if you’re interested):

“We all know that something wasn’t right with the election in 2020. Multiple states circumvented The Constitution of the United States in the name of a man-made virus. We must bring integrity back to our elections!”

“…man-made virus…”

“We must protect the lives of the unborn and be the voice of the voiceless. There are no exceptions; abortion is murder because each life is precious in the eyes of God.”

“We must respect the men and women in blue, those who risk their lives for each of us every day. Our society will fall further into chaos without law and order.”

“The Founders of our great nation knew that to remain a secure and free republic we needed armed citizens. It’s not a suggestion, it’s our right to keep and bear arms, and it shall not be infringed! There is no such thing as “gun violence” it’s “human violence.””

“…each life…” Uvalde, Texas.

“Parents must have a say in their children’s education, and we must stop schools from teaching anti-American propaganda.”

Is arming teachers in the classroom okay? Just asking.

The Venn diagram is a perfect circle:

4th Congressional District, Mark Alford, missouri, right wingnut

Former television news reader Mark Alford (r) is running in Missouri’s 4th Congressional District. From a campaign video posted on Monday:

Mark Alford (r) [thumb up] – Johnson County, Missouri Sheriff’s Department [video screen capture].

No one suggested wearing a mask? You know there’s still a pandemic in progress, right?

From the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS):

Among the lowest vaccine rates in the State of Missouri.

By the way, Mark, you live in the district?

4th Congressional District, Mark Alford, missouri, right wingnut

First question: Who is the current President of the United States?

“…Republican Candidate for Missouri’s 4th Congressional District…”

That narrows it down. A lot.

Mark Alford. One of those television guys.

We stand at a critical juncture of the history of the United States of America, a distinct division of paths, and steep precipice of danger. The choices and decisions we soon make as a nation will determine which path we go down and whether we fall to our collective destruction or maintain the integrity and strength of our Union.

435 men and women are the voices of the people who comprise this great land. Each congressional district, represented by a fellow citizen of their state, duly elected to be a voice in Washington D.C. for the people. Each district is due the strongest voice they can elect who represents their will and their beliefs.

I am that strongest voice for the 4th Congressional District of the State of Missouri.

My voice has informed, influenced, and inspired millions of people during my tenure as a television news anchor. My voice has been on live TV for more than 23,000 hours. My voice has helped raise millions of dollars for charities both locally and nationally. My voice has served boards, foundations, churches, civic organizations, families, and strangers.

My voice has been just that, “My” voice. Now I want to be YOUR voice, representing your values and your beliefs, I want to represent YOU as the next Congressman for the 4th District of Missouri.

“We stand at a critical juncture of the history of the United States of America, a distinct division of paths, and steep precipice of danger…”

There was a mob in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021 which breached the Capitol and smeared feces on the walls, among other acts of sedition.

“…The choices and decisions we soon make as a nation will determine which path we go down and whether we fall to our collective destruction or maintain the integrity and strength of our Union…”

Too late. The nations’s wealth has already been redistributed to the top one percent.

“…435 men and women are the voices of the people who comprise this great land. Each congressional district, represented by a fellow citizen of their state, duly elected to be a voice in Washington D.C. for the people. Each district is due the strongest voice they can elect who represents their will and their beliefs…”

That’s all well and good. This reads like it was taken from one of your fifth grade government essays cribbed together after you’d slept through a week of class.

“…I am that strongest voice for the 4th Congressional District of the State of Missouri…”

That’s debatable, especially without unlimited campaign funds.

“…My voice has informed, influenced, and inspired millions of people during my tenure as a television news anchor. My voice has been on live TV for more than 23,000 hours…”

“Faux News channel, fascist groupies” – protest sign, circa 2003- 2004.

“…My voice has helped raise millions of dollars for charities both locally and nationally. My voice has served boards, foundations, churches, civic organizations, families, and strangers…”

And on the 23,001st hour, he rested.

Second question: Do you currently live in the 4th Congressional District?

Stand up and help us take back America!

Yeah, that’s actually on the campaign web site.
