Talking about political or secular government items in religious terms is not appropriate. Calling a person evil and demonic is dangerous.
Just because a person thinks All people have the same rights as others does not make them a demon it shows that they believe in our constitution.
I get a lot of that your evil and a devil BS for supporting minority groups as they exercise their rights to assemble, associate and free speech.

If anyone disagrees with Mark, move out of the U.S.A. – “one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all”, quoted from the Pledge of Allegiance, and stop using the money “In God We Trust” is printed on some of our currency, and stop calling for people to abide by the law- the Ten Commandments predate our Constitution, Bill of Rights and any law on the books and most of our laws today reflect or are based on teachings, commands and precepts of the Bible. Also look at the origin of the “separation of church and state”. You’ll find out it wasn’t intended to stop the practice of religion in the lives of elected officials but was designed to keep “the state” from enforcing or forcing any religion on the people and actually ensures “we the people” have the freedom to choose who, how and if we worship.

Individuals CAN believe whatever they choose.

Specific words do not need to be in black and white for the interpretation to be understood, but fortunately, we have a justice system that helps interpret these things when there is confusion.

YOU don’t get to tell anyone where to live or how to interpret the constitution. Originally the US motto was “E Pluribus Unum” which translates to “Out of many, one”. This phrase was suggested by a committee in 1776 and appeared on the Great Seal of the United States.
No one has EVER prevented anyone in America from practicing Christianity anytime or place they like. You are correct in your summation, that the intent is to allow freedom of religious practice for individuals, while assuring the government would not adopt nor promote a particular religion. Mark seems to think Americans need him to “bring God back”. That is both preposterous and presumptive. It’s not appropriate for an elected representative to make that assertion.
No one has to leave the U.S. for disagreeing with Mark ALford.

The “Under God” part of the pledge of allegiance was not in the pledge originally and was added later. It’s the same story with the “In God we trust’. Saying on money. This country has ALWAYS included the tenet of Separation of Church and State. Not everyone shares your religious beliefs or practices your religion. I don’t care about the “ten commandments.” You have every right to practice your religion as you see fit, but keep it out of our goverment. You are not allowed to shove your religion down everyone’s else’s throats. The State is not allowed to force one religion down any one’s throats. Stop trying to have the State sanction Christianity. Stop trying to change history. Stop whining that you are being persecuted when you are harassing others about your faith. Separation of church and state is not mentioned in the 1st Amendment. That assumption originated in a letter from Thomas Jefferson to church leaders in his time. The 1st Amendment does, however, address ‘freedom of religion”. It say nothing about freedom from religion.

Going by the number of churches I see around town, in cities, and mentions of them along I-70, I’d say that, um…, how to put this?, that the god you revere hasn’t “gone” anywhere.
And as for bringing this god “back” … How in heaven’s name could teeny, tiny, minuscule humans remove a Creator who can cause a cosmos to come into being? A god that can be removed (all those churches say otherwise) must not be omnipotent, or, with free will, much concerned with whether the teeny, tiny humans “believe” one way or the other.
I’d address demons, but as they are neither provable or not (regardless of perception), any discussion would be, as Faulkner says (minus the idiots), sound and fury, signifying nothing. The comment about the rot starting at the top, though, that was gold. 🙂

Some of us were serious about it, and still have an interest in being as informationally safe as possible.
The amateurish method of communication among the participants in the “chat,” and the addition of an uncleared outside party, indicate a lack of training and talent for their jobs.
As for pointing out Mr. Biden’s work to overcome a stutter, if all you have is an insult, that just shows that “there’s no there, there” concerning your allegation.

Breaking laws is ok for Republicans and putting soldiers lives in danger. Hegseth needs to be held accountable or no one in the military will be able to be held accountable.

Your failure to acknowledge the seriousness of this situation is alarming. Missouri deserves better.

I expect my Senator to represent me not the wandering thoughts of Trump. Remember, three equal branches of government not an excuse making branch. Do your job, the Senate means more than either Missouri Senators are willing to do. Sacrifices are part of the job description. Trump is ruining this country don’t be part of it.

May I suggest that you use your energy to investigate the security breach that put our service members’ lives at risk. I plead with you to take a strong stance against this most recent security breach. I was entrusted with the highest level clearance in my 35 career, and the information shared via a publicly available app did in fact jeopardize our service members carrying out that mission and violates procedures for handling Unclassified information. This would have been a reportable incident regardless of the information classification as information was shared with an outsider. Anyone who has any k level of access should know the “with a need to know” provision of any information, including unclassified information. If you truly support service members, then please do what is morally appropriate and take a stand to hold these individuals, particularly Secretary Hegseth, accountable for this irresponsible and reckless conduct and blatant and inexcusable mishandling of information.

Sometimes, Vicky, the truth is hard to see. Your statements reveal that you are blind to the “dagger at the throat of democracy”. Your failure to support the investigations into the revolt show in a bright light how you are denying your oath to this country. You should be outraged at what happened on 1-6-21 not continuing to spread the BIG LIE. The truth will always come out. The leaders who assisted in this American disgrace will be held accountable. You can either be on the side of the truth and be part of the healing of this country or you can continue your scheme to support those who lie. You have the choice and I encourage you to do what is right for your constituents and country.

“Unfortunate event”, that’s what you call an attempted coup? You are nothing more than a complicit hack.

Interesting that you’re choosing to make a statement on this on your campaign page and not your congressional page.

This day will forever mark the shame of Republicans & their insurrection! You cannot reframe it into something else!

The fact that you refer to it as an unfortunate event is telling. You clearly aren’t interested in accountability, since the “unfortunate event” in question wouldn’t have happened if one person had just accepted reality. You dishonor Capitol Hill police who were injured and/or died from the insurrection that day by minimizing what actually occurred. Shameful.

One of the major issues facing the United States is the division caused by the Republican party, promoting trump’s big lie. Most of the problems could be addressed rationally and reasonably, but for republican obstructionism. You continue to harp on Democrats’ inability to address national problems, but your party takes no positive action. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds. What ever happened to the party of Eisenhower?

It dissolved over 40 years ago.

Vicky you are a joke. Where were you Jan 6 2020? In your bullet proof underwear knowing the coup was happening? You havent helped the Jan 6 committee and if you are a loyal citizen of US sworn to protect the constitution why are you still kissing Trump? What does Trump have over you?
