It’s their world, the rest of us just get to live in it.

Today, at the Missouri Ethics Commission:

C232396 03/31/2023 American Promise PAC Pacifica Consulting Services, LLC 1067 N. Mason Rd. Suite 2 St Louis MO 63141 3/31/2023 $500,000.00

C232396 03/31/2023 American Promise PAC AIG Virginia, LLC 2128 William Street #161 Cape Girardeau MO 63703 3/31/2023 $200,000.00

[emphasis added]

Do you personally know anyone who could write a $500,000.00 or $200,000.00 check like that? I didn’t think so.

Protest for Trans Rights – Jefferson City, Missouri – March 29, 2023 – part 3

Missouri Capitol.

On Wednesday in Jefferson City on the grounds in front of the main steps to the capitol building close to 1,000 individuals from across Missouri gathered to demonstrate for trans rights and in opposition to SB 39 and SB 49.

“Protect Trans Kids”

“As human beings, we thrive when everyone can live authentic, beautiful lives. Being able to access healthcare is a fundamental part of this. When we are assured we are safe and protected, that we belong, there can be full engagement with the world, and everyone benefits from that. I’m a cis-hetero ally who knows that trans rights are human rights. Everyone deserves to be protected.” – Heather Fleming

“Side With Love”

“I Support Missouri Trans Kids”

“Bans Off Our Bodies”

“Not A Phase”

“Stop Bullying Trans Kids”

“Trans Rights Equal Human Rights”

“Support Trans Educators!”

“I’m here, as an Afro-Latinx trans woman, to highlight the limited access to gender-affirming care in Missouri. Socio-economic status and systemic disparities create underlying issues preventing access to vital healthcare. When elected officials police healthcare, they perpetuate the systemic disenfranchisement of people of color.” – Kendall Martinez-Wright

“These bills targeting trans and gender non-conforming folks and families of Missouri are straight out og the anti-abortion playbook – rooted in disinformation, stigma, and fear. The same politicians that banned abortion are behind these bills. It’s always been about policing and separating families in order to further their own political power and control. Missourians deserve better. Missourians deserve more.” – Maggie Olivia

8th Congressional District, Donald Trump, indictment, Jason Smith, missouri, social media, sycophant

Jason Smith (r) [2022 file photo].

Though Kevin Bacon is a much more believable and a better actor.

Last night:

Rep. Jason Smith @RepJasonSmith
NYC DA Alvin Bragg’s case has only been about one thing from the start — targeting President Donald Trump for political gain. Bragg’s case is so questionable that any respected prosecutor would have long since walked away. The truth will be exposed in the days and months ahead.
7:44 PM · Mar 30, 2023

The responses:

Any respectable Congress me[mb]er would support the rule of law and wait for charges to be revealed and Trump himself to defend himself in court. Instead @JudiciaryGOP has been running cover for him and interfering in investigations with their own weaponization.

You don’t even know the facts of the case, Jason.

He broke the law.

@RepJasonSmith the step up and do something about it

You mean Like January 6th? Just asking.

A grand jury of ordinary Americans determined there was probable cause of a crime.

It’s so questionable? You must be the one person who’s seen the indictment. Amazing!

Hysterical

No one knows what the charges are. What are you talking about you sycophantic boondoggle.

34 counts! It’s Alvin Bragg’s job to bring the evidence to a grand jury and the grand juries job is to indict!

I can’t wait for the twice impeached loser by a landslide to take the stand under oath and tell the jury he didn’t pork a pornstar while his third wife was home with his fifth kid, pay her $130k and cook the Trump Organization books.

Who am I kidding, he will plead the 5th.

THIS IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL GARBAGE!

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS NO EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW!!

THIS IS WHY IT’S HAPPENING, PROVE ME WRONG!

Impossible To Be A Constitutional Republic, When State And Federal Judiciary Are Seated By Direct And Indirect Popular Vote, ONLY From The Most Populous Counties And Cities In Them Because They Have The Population Density To Do So, That Being THE MOB, The Voice Of The People,

A constitutional scholar, perhaps? Nah.

The interesting thing about Trump is he usually gets his pals to commit crimes too.

Shit take from a giant douche.

What Alvin Bragg has done is illegal. He made up evidence to support a crime, lied in a court of law (perjury), and hid exculpatory evidence that debunks the allegations. This will be proven in the weeks to come. Bragg needs to be arrested and thrown in prison.

Good to know that lying in a court of law is called perjury. Wait, isn’t there supposed to be a few steps between getting arrested and getting thrown in prison?

Its called FAFO dipshit.
Cry much harder.

Eric Schmitt (r) {August 2022 file photo].

This evening:

Eric Schmitt @Eric_Schmitt
This is purely a partisan case against President Trump

Soros DA Bragg campaigned on prosecuting President Trump, while violent crime in NYC rages on & violent criminals walk free

This is a political prosecution in search of a crime & sets an dangerous precedent going forward
6:27 PM · Mar 30, 2023

Some of the responses to Eric Schmitt (r):

It’s called the justice system. If you’re a criminal, you get indicted. If you’re found guilty, you go to jail! Foundation of a successful democracy.

No extradition. This would mean Florida is now sanctuary for Trump. Right?
[….]

Heh.

But the Hunter Biden laptop—that’s legit. What a joke you are.

Trump is corrupt. Trump broke laws. Trump acts as though he id above the law. This is the first of quite a few indictments he will face because he chose not to follow the laws like an upstanding citizen.

A Grand Jury made up of We the People indicted trump. All strangers in a room heard testimony, saw physical evidence and voted for an indictment. Have you already forgotten how the system works since becoming a senator? [….]

Oh Eric…why don’t you sue Alvin Bragg! You sue everyone else you don’t like. Just go away.
[….]

gotta throw those dog-whistles in there, don’t you?

Donald is a crook Eric.

The “lock her up” folks have big feelings about political prosecution in search of a crime all of a sudden.

Way to spit on the grand jury, Eric.
Almost like you think some people are above the law.
[….]

Oh fuck. I’ve been taking a drink every time they say Soros.

Deciding to go the antisemitic route is certainly a choice Eric.

You really think the grand jury in NY voted to indict not based on the evidence presented, but on their party affiliation?
Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a child?

No one is above the law.

Oh look, another antisemitic gop pos. (Yeah, I know he’s also a liar but chose to focus on the antisemitism since news media continues to ignore ongoing casual antisemitism of the gop.)

You sound pretty ignorant saying this without an unsealed indictment, don’t you think? Kinda culty?

You don’t even know the charges yet you dotard.

You are such a moron Eric. Please stop embarrassing Missouri with this nonsense.

It’s wrong that there allowed to come for people accused of crimes. Presidents should be accepted from this madness because that’s what America stands for! #maga

Weir dumed.

You all have your talking points “Soros” all in a row. POS hope you go down too

Josh Hawley (r), this evening:

Josh Hawley @HawleyMO
They will regret this
7:04 PM · Mar 30, 2023

Lock him up. Karma’s a bitch, eh, Josh (r)?

Some of the responses:

They? Who are they?

Who? The American people, the jury members, who indicted him? Sit down, fascist traitor.

Mr. ThreatyPants is so tough on Twitter. You raising your little fist in front of your laptop, there Joshy?

Sounds like a puny-fisted threat.
Next comes the running.

Who you threatening?

For sure. There’s so much we regret about you, bud.

“They”?

That’s the best dog whistle Josh (r) and/or his social media intern can come up with.

I think they already do. They should have done it earlier.

Well, okay.

Bet you hawley runs from these words
[….]

The guy who raised a fist to a mob that wanted to take over our Capitol building now says “They will regret this”

Once an insurrectionist always an insurrectionist.

Maybe justice will come for you next. Start running.

Um…yeah no.

Regret what?
Who are “they”?
[….]

Is that a threat, Josh? More fists in the air showing solidarity with thugs who stormed the Capitol?

Insurrectionist is as insurrectionist does.

Why? Do you have something to hide?

The Grand Jury? Your fellow Americans?

Stop being such a snowflake because your fake Jesus got indicted.

Oh you mean the Grand Jury who saw evidence you didn’t? Huh. Ok dude.

or what, insurrectionist?

Is that a threat??

Remember when made a fist of solidarity with a mob, and it ended with you running like a coward from the mob

Can the threats.

A Grand Jury indicted him. PERIOD.

Is that a threat, Joshie? Because it sounds more like a mouse fart.

Way to come out as pro-crime, dude.

Who is “they”

Why would “they” regret indicting a criminal?

Insurrectionist says what?

So, laws don’t apply to Trump?

Disney Absorbs Marvel Entertainment Amid Layoffs, Dismisses Chairman Ike Perlmutter

Disney’s cost-cutting measures have reached to the top echelons of the company: Isaac “Ike” Perlmutter, chairman of Marvel Entertainment, has been laid off, as his division — which is separate from Marvel Studios — is absorbed into other units of Disney.

Along with Perlmutter, Marvel Entertainment’s co-president Rob Steffens and chief counsel John Turitzin were also dismissed. Dan Buckley, president of the division, is staying and will report to Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige.

A Disney spokesperson confirmed the departures to Variety.
