4th Congressional District, former newsreader, gaslight, gaslighting, Mark Alford, right wingnut, social media, that ridiculous hat

[….] …This term comes from the 1938 stage play Gas Light, in which a husband attempts to drive his wife crazy by dimming the lights (which were powered by gas) in their home, and then he later denies that the light changed when his wife points it out. It is an extremely effective form of emotional abuse that causes a victim to question their own feelings, instincts, and sanity. As a result, the abusive partner has a lot of power (and we know that abuse is about power and control). Indeed, once an abusive partner has broken down the victim’s ability to trust their own perceptions, the victim is more likely to stay in the abusive relationship…[….]

Mark Alford (r) [2022 file photo].

Sunday, from Mark Alford (r):

Mark Alford
[July 29, 2023]
You must listen to this latest episode. Congressman Troy Nehls was inside the House chamber on Jan 6. He tells the truth about what happened that day.
[….]

What a dumbass. Was Troy Nehls (r) the only person there? How many members of Congress are there? Hint: the number is more than one.

There was a massive amount of publicly available and easily accessible media coverage in real time on January 6, 2021. We all saw it.

Some of the responses:

The truth was Trump** elicited a mob to sack the Capitol building and disrupt the electoral count.
And he still lost.
I trust Pence. I do not trust Trump**, and I have suspicions about any of his supporters.

Heh.

If that’s really, what happened, why won’t they release all the January 6th tapes

Because you believe in conspiracies.
No amount of release will satisfy you.

that is an excuse not an answer

What prey tell will satisfy you?

Pray.

people that blame Trump have a one track mind. Were you upset when rioters tore up cities and hurt civilians and officers alike?

The demonstrators didn’t seek to upend our democracy.
Trump** did.

no they just sought out and hurt people and destroy property. Saying Trump made them is like saying a fork made someone fat. The people who stormed the capitol did so because they wanted to.

the rioters actually tried to physically hurt officers, which are defenders of our government

Correct. The January 6th rioters and seditionists actually tried to physically hurt officers, which are the defenders of our government.

There was more FBI in that crowd than you could shake a stick at. Try again, Trump ordered 10000 troops there. Nancy didn’t want it. Wonder why Nancy didn’t want them there. So they could do their fake insurrection. Release all the January 6th tapes.

Tell me where in the civilian chain of command, the speaker of the house vetos the president.
Since you believe the speaker has more military power than the president, your claim of FBI in the riot gets swept away as worthless.

That’s why they don’t want them released for 75 years. You seen chuck Schumer up on the senate floor crying the blues about trying to get it taken down. What they trying to hide.

McCarthy had 44,000 hours of video available to him since January.
He gave them to Tucker Carlson. Carlson then edited them to make his own fan fiction.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys have access to the same footage.
That footage was featured in over 600 convictions, and counting.
There is no exculpatory evidence that exists to support that this was not obstruction of congress and sedition.

Are you implying there is exculpatory evidence being suppressed?

Why would you ask such a stupid question like that? You know, they did even you know they did.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

They just require actual evidence. Not dumbass conspiracy theories.

I’m pretty sure it was all set up by the democrats Nancy Pelosi chuck scdumber Clinton Obama. There’s so many more involved. I’m pretty sure the little bit that Tucker Released on Fox kind of blows holes and everything they set up.

I have no idea the point of this drivel.

as you have no idea what you are talking about.

Tell me what I have no idea about.

It’s pretty well self explainatory. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

how would you know if I told you – you are clueless in your processes as a whole and lash out on narrative without knowledge. There is no arguing with you, there is no hope that you could even understand or even realize the truth. You are ignorant in your speculations and abhorrent in your discussions. You are like a 3rd grader in your understanding of the world.

Yet I’ve attacked your message while you attack me, meaning it’s time to introduce the concept of argumentum ad hominem.
Attacking the messenger is your only argument.

Citing logical fallacies is a waste of time when you’re dealing with someone who obviously slept through all of their classes.

So, Mark (r), do tourists always smear their shit on the walls inside the Capitol? Just asking.

It’s a living

Why does it matter about all the differences? Thought all wanted equal treatment. When you set yourself aside from a group and cry inequality then you are indeed making yourself different.

Jay Nixon, No Labels, Overton Window, republican front

Jay Nixon [2016 file photo].

From republicans who helped create the monster and mess in the first place:

Former Missouri Governor and Attorney General Jay Nixon Joins No Labels to Protect the Constitutional Right of Americans to Choose Their Leaders
No Labels Staff
July 29, 2023

….we have named Jay Nixon – a lifelong Democrat who spent 30 years serving Missouri as a governor, attorney general and state senator – as director of our new Ballot Integrity Project….

[….]

“At a moment when so many Americans’ are losing trust in our democracy, we need to hold even tighter to the pillars that have held our democracy up for almost 250 years. In our country, you win by persuading more people and getting more votes, not by limiting voters’ choices and denying competitors a place on the ballot,” said Nixon. “Americans have the constitutional right to put any person or party on the ballot and to vote for whomever they want. Anyone who is against that isn’t standing up for democracy. They are standing in the way.”

[….]

On July 18, No Labels launched its Common Sense policy booklet at an overflow town hall event at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., featuring Dr. Chavis, his fellow No Labels co-chairs former Gov. Pat McCrory and Sen. Joe Lieberman and special guests Sen. Joe Manchin and Gov. Jon Huntsman….

[….]

For people who are stupid enough to think that Joe Biden (D) is a socialist.

WTF, Jay?

Actual competence doesn’t matter, eh?

If you were so concerned about voter suppression, where were you when Jay Ashcroft (r) started opening his mouth?

“…America’s commonsense majority…” Never heard of the Overton Window.

Joe Lieberman and Joe Manchin? We rest our case.

Eric Schmitt, Fascist pig, right wingnut, social media, U.S. Senate

Eric Schmitt (r) [2022 file photo].

Apparently, he expects a participation trophy.

Yesterday:

Senator Eric Schmitt
[July 28, 2023]
I’m proud to have played a critical role in securing funding for our military installations in Missouri, as well as combatting the Biden Administration’s blatant attempts to infuse our military with woke DEI policies in this year’s NDAA.
[….]

Some of the responses:

Why would you be against diversity equity and inclusion? Please explain. You don’t want blacks, women or gays in the service? Just straight white males

You think minorities, gay people and “woke” individuals don’t serve? No one needs diversity education? Interesting point of view.

On July 26 some 75 years ago President Truman signed Executive Order 9981 which banned segregation in the armed forces and called for the abolition of discrimination. You are using President Truman’s desk yet you are trying to turn back all that has been accomplished since that EO. He’s probably turning over in his grave

Hmmm, that’s what people said when Blacks were allowed to serve in the military. And Women. And gays. Sad that our Missouri Senator is living in the 1940’s.

Breitbart article provides no defense of your anti-DEI stance, but it’s an interesting choice for posting.

Talk to me how you are fixing the issue with Tuberville holding up promotions for the military? I would think that would be a critical issue that needs to be resolved.

With cases of sexual assault in the military still rising, it sounds like “a wedge” is already there. Comrades in arms usually don’t sexually assault other comrades in arms.

Thank you Senator! Keep looking out for, and fighting against, the nonsense that our military is dealing with from these progressive liberals!! Stay strong! [….]

Please keep fighting the crazy liberals. White liberal women are so coocoo .

Your Awesome! Please Help Impeach Jing Jong Joe and drain the damn Swamp! It’s TIME AND you Can Do it! Get those fg Rhinos straight!

4th Congressional District, flash mob, former newsreader, Mark Alford, missouri, right wingnut, social media, that ridiculous hat

Sort of like useless members of Congress.

Mark Alford (r) [2022 file photo]..

Yesterday:

Mark Alford
[July 27, 2023]
It wasn’t all that long ago that people broke out in choreographed song and dance in public. It was called a “flash mob”
The first one was in 2003.
What has happened to our society since then that has caused us to turn on one another with different kinds of mobs, violence, chaos and crime?
We need our security back. Personal, National, and economic.
So what happened?

“It wasn’t all that long ago that people broke out in choreographed song and dance in public. It was called a ‘flash mob’…”

Well, for one thing, there’s the pandemic that started in 2020.

“…What has happened to our society since then that has caused us to turn on one another with different kinds of mobs, violence, chaos and crime?…”

Yeah, that January 6, 2021 insurrection certainly was a mob. You might ask Josh Hawley (r) about that raised fist thing.

Uh, you do know that flash mobs are planned, contrived, marketed, and dependent on social media, right?

Some of the responses:

Obama and the progressive liberals have made everyone crazy

Yep the Obama presidency was the start to this countries demise. Telling African Americans they are STILL oppressed and don’t have same opportunities as everyone else on the planet – you just have to work at it. Taking away all our history and trying to erase it by removing statues because they owned a slave some 100 years ago. Telling millennials they earn participation trophies without earning 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. We’ve all struggled with mental health and identity but allowing all the sexual identity changes before being adults is super scary to me. While I understand those challenges can be detrimental to a child so can allowing that transformation and when their 25 decide, they made wrong choice – then what happens? There’s too many things Mark Alford

Uh, the Emancipation Proclamation was in 1863.

Nothing we can do about the Obama 3rd term we’re experiencing.

Obama still lives rent free inside their heads.

President Barack Obama (D) [2013 file photo].

The government has been telling everyone that each other hates one another. They’re also telling people the are victims and they have a right to violence. That’s what happens in an uncivilized society.

WTF?

Well, Mark Alford (r) just said that. He’s part of the government. You probably voted for him.

Well said. What did happen? The press started tearing this country apart and Facebook, lol. Technology is killing us. I quit watching the news when you left Fox 4 . There was nobody left at Fox 4 (except Marcus) I haven’t watched the news since then and I haven’t missed it at all.

“Faux News channel, fascist groupies” – protest sign, circa 2003- 2004.

Yea so stand up to the eastblishment. There using the devil 4Ds. Deceive, Discourage,Division, and Distraction. All this to control there slaves.

They’re. Their.

unfortunately satan is alive and well and roaming to and fro. he is at the root of all this evil.

Mark Alford [….] agree
