Donald Trump, dumbass, indictment, special counsel

Bad combover. Check. Too long red tie. Check. Orange spray tan. Check. Tiny hands. Check. Cluelessness. Check…

“On November 18, 2022, Jack Smith was appointed by Attorney General Merrick B. Garland to serve as the Special Counsel by Order No. 5559-2022.”

On June 8, 2023 a grand jury returned an indictment of Donald Trump (r).

[….]
3. The classified documents TRUMP stored in his boxes included information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign countries; United States nuclear programs; potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack; and plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack. The unauthorized disclosure of these classified documents could put at risk the national security of the United States, foreign relations, the safety of the United States military, and human sources and the continued viability of sensitive intelligence collection methods.

4. At 12:00 p.m. on January 20, 2021, TRUMP ceased to be president. As he departed the White House, TRUMP caused scores of boxes, many of which contained classified documents, to be transported to The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, where he maintained his residence. TRUMP was not authorized to possess or retain those classified documents.

5. The Mar-a-Lago Club was an active social club, which, between January 2021 and August 2022, hosted events for tens of thousands of members and guests. After TRUMP’s presidency, The Mar-a-Lago Club was not an authorized location for the storage, possession, review, display, or discussion of classified documents. Nevertheless, TRUMP stored his boxes containing classified documents in various locations at The Mar-a-Lago Club—including in a ballroom, a bathroom and shower, an office space, his bedroom, and a storage room.
[….]

[….]
17. Pursuant to Executive Order 13526, information classified at any level could be lawfully accessed only by persons determined by an appropriate United States government official to be eligible for access to classified information and who had signed an approved non-disclosure agreement, who received a security clearance, and who had a “need-to-know” the classified information. After his presidency, TRUMP was not authorized to possess or retain classified documents.

18. Executive Order 13526 provided that a former president could obtain a waiver of the “need-to-know” requirement, if the agency head or senior agency official of the agency that originated the classified information: (1) determined in writing that access was consistent with the interest of national security and (2) took appropriate steps to protect classified information from unauthorized disclosure or compromise and ensured that the information was safeguarded in a manner consistent with the order. TRUMP did not obtain any such waiver after his presidency.
[….]

[….]
54. On May 23, 2022, TRUMP met with Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 2 at The Mar-a-Lago Club to discuss the response to the May 11 Subpoena. Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 2 told TRUMP that they needed to search for documents that would be responsive to the subpoena and provide a certification that there had been compliance with the subpoena. TRUMP, in sum and substance, made the following statements, among others, as memorialized by Trump Attorney 1:
a. I don’t want anybody looking, I don’t want anybody looking through my boxes, I really don’t, I don’t want you looking through my boxes.
b. Well what if we, what happens if we just don’t respond at all or don’t play ball with them?
c. Wouldn’t it be better if we just told them we don’t have anything here?
d. Well look isn’t it better if there are no documents?
[….]

[….]
62. In sum, between May 23, 2022, and June 2, 2022, before Trump Attorney 1’s review of TRUMP’s boxes in the Storage Room, NAUTA—at TRUMP’s direction—moved
approximately 64 boxes from the Storage Room to TRUMP’s residence and brought to the Storage Room only approximately 30 boxes. Neither TRUMP nor NAUTA informed Trump Attorney 1 of this information.
[….]

[….]
71. Shortly after Trump Attorney 3 executed the false certification, on June 3, 2022, Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 3 met at The Mar-a-Lago Club with personnel from the Department of Justice and FBI. Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 3 turned over the Redweld folder containing documents with classification markings, as well as the false certification signed by Trump Attorney 3 as custodian of records. TRUMP, who had delayed his departure from The Mar-a-Lago Club, joined Trump Attorney 1 and Trump Attorney 3 for some of the meeting. TRUMP claimed to the Department of Justice and FBI that he was “an open book.”

72. Earlier that same day, NAUTA and others loaded several of TRUMP’s boxes along with other items on aircraft that flew TRUMP and his family north for the summer.
[….]

[….]
79. From on or about May 11, 2022, through in or around August 2022, in Palm Beach County, in the Southern District of Florida, and elsewhere, the defendants,

DONALD J. TRUMP and
WALTINE NAUTA,

did knowingly combine, conspire, confederate, and agree with each other and with others known and unknown to the grand jury, to engage in misleading conduct toward another person and corruptly persuade another person to withhold a record, document, and other object from an official proceeding, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1512(b)(2)(A), and to corruptly conceal a record, document, and other object from an official proceeding, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)(1).
[….]

[….]
91. On or about June 3, 2022, in Palm Beach County, in the Southern District of Florida, and elsewhere, the defendant,

DONALD J. TRUMP,

in a matter within the jurisdiction of the judicial branch and executive branch of the United States government, did knowingly and willfully make and cause to be made a materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statement and representation; that is—during a federal grand jury investigation and a federal criminal investigation being conducted by the FBI, TRUMP caused the following false statements and representations to be made to the grand jury and the FBI in a sworn certification executed by Trump Attorney 3:

Life expectancy in the US has fallen for 2 consecutive years. Incentivizing healthier lifestyles should not be controversial, but Democrats are making it such.

The “N” in SNAP stands for nutrition. It is time to put nutrition back in the program.
11:13 AM · Jun 7, 2023

“…Life expectancy in the US has fallen for 2 consecutive years…”

Why would that be? Has something been going on for the last two or three years?

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
National Center for Health Statistics
Excess Deaths Associated with COVID-19
Provisional Death Counts for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

…Estimates of excess deaths can provide information about the burden of mortality potentially related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including deaths that are directly or indirectly attributed to COVID-19. Excess deaths are typically defined as the difference between the observed numbers of deaths in specific time periods and expected numbers of deaths in the same time periods. This visualization provides weekly estimates of excess deaths by the jurisdiction in which the death occurred. Weekly counts of deaths are compared with historical trends to determine whether the number of deaths is significantly higher than expected.

Counts of deaths from all causes of death, including COVID-19, are presented. As some deaths due to COVID-19 may be assigned to other causes of deaths (for example, if COVID-19 was not diagnosed or not mentioned on the death certificate), tracking all-cause mortality can provide information about whether an excess number of deaths is observed, even when COVID-19 mortality may be undercounted. Additionally, deaths from all causes excluding COVID-19 were also estimated. Comparing these two sets of estimates — excess deaths with and without COVID-19 — can provide insight about how many excess deaths are identified as due to COVID-19, and how many excess deaths are reported as due to other causes of death. These deaths could represent misclassified COVID-19 deaths, or potentially could be indirectly related to the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g., deaths from other causes occurring in the context of health care shortages or overburdened health care systems)…

Some of the responses to Mark Alford (r):

Hmm….what happened in the last two years that your party likes to pretend was just a cold but we lost 1.1 million Americans that could have been lessened by following preventative protocols??

Covid, Mark, it was Covid.

Wonder why ppl died last few years?

So you’re saying our healthcare is bad Mark?

Uh…HEY uh Mark…uh…nutrition is important…uh but the 2 year decline in life expectancy wasn’t because of poor nutrition. My gawd you are really bad at his leading stuff. This tweet of yours makes me think you might be a parody account. Tell me about the championship rings.

You should be promoting access to health care then instead of voting to defund Medicare and Medicaid. You know SNAP recipients can’t afford to eat healthy.

The “A” in SNAP stands for assistance. It is time to put assistance back in the program and stop placing roadblocks that prevent Americans from getting the help they need.

Some of the responses to Mark Alford (r):

You need to read that report as it does not say what you evidently think it means.

It didn’t Debunk anything and was out together by a hack from Trumps DOJ. lol

The Durham Report did not debunk the Muller Report. What are you smoking, Mark?

12:07 PM · Apr 15, 2023

Some of the responses:

Talk to @Eric_Schmitt. He voted and voted overrule a governors veto to allow the sale of Missouri farmland. Were you upset when you reported on that when you were a journalist?

“…Were you upset when you reported on that when you were a newsreader?” – fixed it for you.

Who allowed it in the first place?

How about Canadians buying US farmland?

What would Brian Boitano do?

What you are saying, is that you want to take away Americans rights and freedoms to sell their land to the highest bidder.

Good job Congressman Alford. Say it like it is. 1 acre is too much for communist government to own. Especially next to a US Airforce base.

You know both Missouri senators and the governor voted to allow those sales?

Well, not Josh Hawley (r). He was too busy ladder climbing.

You should be speaking in Jeff city, not DC.

Then why did the Missouri GOP ok China purchasing our land?
Fact checking Mark
Yep the GOP voted for it
[….]

Maybe @IvankaTrump should give back her patents she got from China as well?

Trademarks, but okay.

Brand new issue?

Who is SELLING U.S. farmland to China?

Corporations? Just a random guess.

Talk, talk, talk!

Oh look, @RepMarkAlford is trying to look relevant.

Not working. Hypocrisy is the only agenda the @GOP knows.

Then why in the HELL did Eric Schmitt vote, not once, but TWICE, to sell MO agriculture land??? It’s YOUR party doing it you dingleberry!

And……you’ve already exceeded the limit that was ‘supposed’ to be sold off.

Your party did this. Don’t act like you’re shocked.

Who is selling it?

They already own the important acres needed to wack out our Air Force bases!!!!

Yeah, you know, feed corn will do that.

HEY! Wasn’t it Eric Schitt who ok’ed the sale of MO farmlands to the Chinese? Yes, it was. Come on @RepMarkAlford — call him up and ask him about it. Don’t you do your homework? Eric Schmitt voted twice to approve the sale of farmland to foreign businesses.

Haven’t y’all Republicans been in charge for 20 years? When did these sales of Missouri farmland happen?

Hey dumbass, you are the idiots that allowed for it to happen in the first place. Just resign and let people that know what they are doing take your seat.

Anything else happening on Saturday?

Daniel Bogard, a St. Louis-based rabbi, said in an interview with The Star that evoking George Soros is a way to blame Jewish people for certain issues.

“Unlike many other isms, antisemitism is fundamentally a conspiracy. It’s a way of looking at the world that answers simple questions for a complex reality,” he said. “That’s what the messaging does — it says that the reason the world isn’t working for you is George Soros.”

The Covid vaccine mandates were stupid.

The Biden Administration fired over 8000 military men and women over it.

Today Secretary Austin admitted he’s doing nothing to get these well trained men and woman back.

This is nuts.
[….]
5:02 PM · Mar 28, 2023

Yes, you are, Eric (r). Stupid and nuts.

Some of the responses:

These people take literally dozens of vaccines in the military – and it was just this one they refused to take – for political reasons.

If a soldier refuses a life-saving vaccine, will he refuse to save a brother in arms? They weren’t fired. They QUIT. I don’t want them back.

This one wasn’t a vaccine, it was an experimental drug that effects your very DNA that was illegally pushed on a captive audience.

They exist, apparently.

It’s what happens when you have an illegitimate regime full of diversity hires

That would be classified as a particularly obvious dog whistle.

For starters dbag, it is essential that military personnel have the ability to follow orders and recognize the chain of command.

The GOP wud weaken our military command by giving every soldier a choice of which rules and commands to obey. Military cannot work that way. Talk abt a Banana Republic. Can you imagine the day when every “who ha” in the U.S. has assault weapons & answers to a militia ldr, perhaps w/ a swastika on his uniform?

Maybe they were extra, you know like the Twitter employees you laughed about.

They were in the military and refused to follow an order. Of course they were fired. They have shown they will not follow orders.

The military is about following orders, they were fired for not following orders. It’s pretty cut and dry.

no, they were fired for refusing to obey a lawful order.

bye, Felicia

They were ordered to get the vaccine. They didn’t follow the order so they deserve what they got. If you had served perhaps you’d understand what following lawful orders means. Instead you’re engaging in political theater to divide people. You’re a disgrace.

Eric, you are still stuck on Covid mandates?? You need to move on to something else that will actually help people, like banning assault type weapons, red flag laws, mandatory background checks for gun purchases. Any actual ideas for HELPING people, not just complaining!!

Your act is getting old

They made the choice to not have one vaccine. Their choice.
I’m fine if they don’t return. Follow guidelines or find a new career. The rest of us operate this way. Pretty simple.

If they cannot follow direct orders in peacetime what happens on the battlefield? They should not be in our military.

Look at Eric grandstanding!

It’s in his nature.

What are you doing about guns?

Don’t hold your breath.

Lost ball in high weeds. [….]

Heh.

You should follow your logic and get rid of TB, malaria, and other vaccines.

Diversity Hire Austin is a disgrace

That would be classified as a particularly obvious dog whistle.

Why would we want them back? It would deteriorate troop cohesion and make us less safe.

The vaccines saved lives, stay in your lane

They failed to comply with a lawful order.

We also know that to have a safe and well prepared military, they receive many vaccines to keep them safe in other parts of the world. COVID vaccines did the same.

Well, they didn’t follow the rules, so…

How many vaccines are the military required to have or get before enlisting @Eric_Schmitt?

What other vaccines should members of the military not take? Get real.

I was in the military , the thought of not taking a vaccine was & is asinine

It’s one of freaking how many shots they got to get. Waaaah waaaah waaaah

How many other military vaccine requirements can be ignored?

Military preparedness is vital to our national security. Our troops receive a whole battery of vaccines to maintain their health and fitness. That’s their duty. If a vocal few can’t take orders then they shouldn’t have volunteered for service.

You don’t fire the military you ridiculous clown. Learn something about the UCMJ genius.

The military mandates dozens of vaccines for personal. Why did they not refuse those vaccines?

What’s nuts is being beholden to right-wing fantasy. We can’t have insubordination in our military.

From the moment that they decide to join the military, they know that they are required to take all available vaccines. They were given a direct order and they defied that order, and they were relieved of duty.

The military already has a ton of other required vaccines. Why should we give a shit about this

The Covid mandates for the military were not stupid. The military has many vaccines requirements. Covid killed millions, and made people sick. The military made the right call. Eric Schmitt you are way out of your league on the medical issue. Sit down and shut up.

My immunization record in the military was three pages long; you obey orders or GTFO. So f$&@ off POS #MAGATerrorisTraitoRacist

An attempted comment to Spitting into the wind (March 14, 2023):

Do any of you left wingers know that all of the SVB executives got big bonuses before they closed? Also this is all planned. Biden sold us out to the WEF so that they could further their One World digital currency to give them complete control of all of us. Josh Haley is looking out for the American People but the Democrats would rather stick behind a President that can’t even finish a sentence without shuddering or talking complete nonsense. Tell me exactly what has he done that is good for this country?
