Ethan Harper (left) is Chief Counsel to Schmitt, and Andrew Ceonzo (right) is Counsel to Schmitt and the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Trial lawyer here. Cult behavior aside, conducting a hard cross (if that’s what you want to call it) based upon a false premise, then doubling down when that premise is openly proven false is more damaging than not showing up at all. But cults do what they do.
