Mark Alford (r) held an open public town hall on the campus of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg on Thursday night. He spoke for about 30 minutes and then took questions for about an hour and a half.

Remarks:

.

“…A couple other people in the audience, uh, our Democrat chair for this, uh, district, uh, Michael Berlin. Michael, where are you? No? I thought he was gonna be here. All right, so he’s not here…”

Uh, no?

“…We have a five-seat majority in the House. Uh, it has not been easy, uh, ruling with a five-seat majority. You just can’t get much done. The Republicans control basically one half of one third of the government right now. And so to get anything meaningfully done is very difficult to do…”

Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson would like a word.

“…But I’m just telling you this. You know, there’s some generals out there who say that we could be in a conflict, at war, with China by the year 2027, 28…”

If so, no one wins.

“…and I was really surprised at how many strong Christians there are in Washington. I’m involved in two Bible studies…”

Is that just in loud words, or in actual deeds? Just asking.
