Organizers and activists in Missouri have been gathering signatures for an initiative to place women’s reproductive rights, women’s health care, and access to abortion on the ballot. Missourians for Constitutional Freedom is the conduit for the petition drive.
The signed petitions were presented this morning at the James C. Kirkpatrick State Information Center in Jefferson City.
Missourians for Constitutional Freedom
[May 3, 2024]
[….] In just three months, 380k+ Missourians from every corner of our state have signed the petition to end the abortion ban! Today, we delivered those signatures to the Secretary of State. [….]
381,000 “plus” signatures, more than meeting the requirements in all eight congressional districts. A minimum of 172,000 signatures were required.
It was a deft touch having volunteer clinic escorts accompany the petitions to the door. Ironic, even. This operation has game.
