And your point is?, comments, meta, trolling

Meta.

We don’t allow incoherent and/or ignorant comments out of moderation to be linked with the original post, but we will present some of them in subsequent posts for the purpose of public derision, mockery, and maybe education. The latter as an example for others – “You might not want to express yourself in this fashion”. As we see fit.

In an age of instant communication thoughtfulness does still have an effect. One just has to remember to do the required thinking before hitting “send”.

In the last day:

You can’t fix stupid and republican party are idiots. They will defend the dumb fuck Trump as long as I can.

Who’s doing what?

Is he there to work a behalf on Missouri, who Elected Him.

Biblical vibe there. Or maybe that English wizard school kid.

5 yrs of wasting tax payers money on nonsense. Look in your own backyard and maybe start the cleanup at the top. Maybe the elites and others should pay their taxes too. STOP the nonsense and start working!!

Again, who’s supposed to do what?

Thank you Mr. Schmidt for telling us the truth.

He isn’t, and it’s “Schmitt”.

It seems like no one in office gets any jail time. Do not pay taxes, you get a free walk sign to freedom, but any commoner would be in jail. The buck needs to stop in DC, and Senators, congressmen, FBI, CIA, Presidents, etc. All need to be accountable. We do not black our servers, we do not make up shit, just because you do like the person in office. Everyone needs to be scrutinized and abide by the law. Commoners get persecuted for doing something wrong/illegal andvtheybpsybthe price. Washington eltes need to pay the price.

How very English. And then it peters out…

They’re all are right take of mo first

We have no idea.

Hang in there, Eric, he’s just a bunch of people who can complain about what you’re doing and if they was in the same place they wouldn’t be any different all they are republican on Trump haters

Populism. Yay.

You don’t want me to reply if that Flag bother you then you need A HISTORY LESSON.

But you just did.

I can’t imagine the hate and vitriol in this country (and Missouri) after reading some of these comments. This must be what was being said before the unCivil War that tore this country apart for 4 years or so, and resulted in the deaths of 620,000 Americans. This does not include the millions who came home with major injuries and probably PTSD. I feel that our extreme polarization is leading us closer to another horrible event as the uncivil War.

Too late. That cold war has been ongoing for one hundred fifty eight years.

An attempted trolling comment submitted today in response to Eric Schmitt (r) believes he’s a witness or something, apparently (June 20, 2023):

This article and the comments are all BS. You are a bunch of liberal trolls who know nothing, care nothing for our country, and are worthless.

Show your work.

“…You are a bunch of liberal trolls who know nothing, care nothing for our country, and are worthless.”

Every right wingnut accusation is a confession.

Attempted trolling comment submitted today in response to Campaign Finance: “Oil, that is…” (June 20, 2023):

You just listed the SAME donation 6 times. I checked the registration numbers. What kind of inflated reporting is this? The same information listed 6 times is just inflammatory reporting .

Read the following SLOWLY so you can try to understand it. SOUND out the words, if that helps:

There were six different receiving entities, each with a unique Missouri Ethics Commission ID, each receiving $15,000.00, each reporting separately on June 20th.

C190996 06/20/2023 Conservative Leaders of Missouri
C171235 06/20/2023 Missouri Senior PAC
C131007 06/20/2023 Missouri Growth PAC
C151156 06/20/2023 MO Majority PAC
C171229 06/20/2023 Missouri C PAC
C141393 06/20/2023 Missouri AG PAC

[emphasis added]

There was one contributing entity, which made six separate contributions in the amount of $15,000.00 each to different receiving entities. If you need help with the math, that’s $90,000.00 total on June 20th.

Warrenton Oil Company 2299 South Spoede Truesdale MO 63380 6/20/2023

[emphasis added]

Interestingly, the reported address of the contributing entity has the same typo for five of the six reporting receiving entities:

Warrenton Oil Company 2299 South Spoede 2299 South Spoede Truesdale MO 63380 6/20/2023

[emphasis added]

What’s with that?

“…I checked the registration numbers…” No, you didn’t.

After weeks of needless distractions, after all of the whining bigots, and after all of the meetings the Warrensburg Pride Festival took place without incident on Saturday.

In addition to the vendors, activities, and entertainment inside the venue a number of intolerant people stood across the street to express whatever.

It was hot and humid on Saturday.

We were there.

Meta. We took over 800 frames of stills. Some with a full frame camera with a 70-200 mm lens and a 2X extender, some taken with a smaller camera with an 18-55 mm lens. Both setups get the big picture. They also capture details which add to the story.

Interestingly, with details it’s easy enough to tell who is who.

Outside, across the road, mostly:

“Women for Trump”

Grab ’em by the what?

“Never Back Down”

Unintentional irony, probably.

Not actually a monopoly.

Pandering to the base

Equal protection, ironically:

Inside at the Pride Festival:

Humanity

“Human:

“Say gay, Protect trans kids, Read banned books. Teach all history. Show love.”

“Human”

“Love Wins”

Equal protection:

“Not Today Jesus”

It works ironically, or not. It also works sarcastically, or not.

“…Aside from lacking any authority over locally elected boards of education, the Attorney General’s orders did not follow Missouri law and were therefore without legal force or effect. Neither Attorney General Schmitt nor his successor has disavowed the orders, and in fact, the Attorney General continues to insist that school districts lack the very authority granted them under Missouri law…”

Plural.

“…The Attorney General has argued that his letters were standard cease and desist letters that any prospective litigant is free to send as a precursor to litigation. The Court rejects this post-hoc rationalization because it ignores both the tenor and threat of future orders of the letters and the social media posts the Attorney General distributed to amplify them. It also elides the interpretation of the orders the public had of the Attorney General’s authority. The letters were not supported by statute or legal precedent and were subject to misinterpretation of the laws of the State of Missouri. The clear intent of the Attorney General’s letters, particularly in view of his later communications and social media posts, was to leave the School District and the public with the impression he had authority he did not have…”

This article is misleading and inaccurate! This happened in one district out of all he sued because they had put a pandemic ordinance in place about changing rules while under the SCAMdemic. You are just campaigning for democrats for those dumb enough to believe you. Y’all need to be held accountable! In fact, I’m gonna call attorneys right now and see if I can sue you personally for misleading me!

Own goal.

Then, another:

In the news:

…In two separate copyright infringement cases concerning the publishing conglomerate Penguin Random House, the high court declined to take up the appeals, with the court saying in 2013 that it wouldn’t hear the first case, and the second case being turned away from the court in 2019 and again in 2020. In both cases, the publisher won at the lower court level, and those decisions stood.

Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who joined the court in 2009 and has been paid millions of dollars from the publisher over the years, declined to recuse herself in all three instances.

Conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch, who joined the court in 2017 and also has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in book deals with the publisher, declined to disqualify himself from the more recent case when it came before the court for consideration…

…the federal law concerning recusal has long been interpreted as applying to stock ownership on the part of the justice or a close family member…

…Breyer, who retired in 2022, likely recused himself from the cases because he owns stock in a company that for a time had a large stake in Penguin…

Roth, whose group has for years kept track of instances in which justices should have recused themselves from a case, said he could not point to other examples where a justice should have disqualified him or herself from a case concerning their book publisher.

Roth noted that Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Ketanji Brown Jackson also have books in the works….

Too easy.

We’ve been getting more attempted trolling comments submitted in response to Eric Schmitt (r) has serious concerns about the financial dealings of Clarence Thom…oh, wait (May 5, 2023):

And surprise, surprise now we see Sotomeyer has received millions from Random House and refused to recuse herself in their cases! I say so what these Justices haven’t changed the way they would vote on any of these cases! Now if she suddenly voted conservative I would be like wow!

You left out Neil Gorsuch (r). How convenient.

Book contracts and royalties, reported on disclosure forms, or unreported vacations, travel, school tuition, to name just a few, provided by a billionaire. If you’ve got a concern with the former, you should definitely have a serious problem with the latter.

“…Now if she suddenly voted conservative I would be like wow!” As opposed to making a decision based on the law and the merits of the case.

Democrat, Republican, all skunks – the bassist opportunist to say they’re out to help us but enrich themselves. Go into elected public service and you will come out a millionaire just like Clinton, Obama, and Biden.

Jared got a $2,000.000.000.00 investment deal. Curiously, you didn’t mention that. So much for non-partisan, eh?

If “corruption permeates our government at all levels” as you assert, the subject of the post alone definitely indicates we’re not kidding.
