Yesterday, from Eric Burlison (r):

Rep. Eric Burlison @RepEricBurlison
Sometimes what we do in Washington is complicated. But today, I voted for something that isn’t complicated.

Today, I voted for the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act.

It’s a simple bill. It prohibits men from competing against women in women’s sports. That’s it.

Bigot.

Some of the responses:

So, who’s gonna be peakin’ in undies & who foots the bill for genetic testing, Eric?

Good question.

Too bad you won’t fight for women on other, much more important matters.

There’s that.

This hate bill will go nowhere, because Repubs can’t get it past the Senate. But thank you for your increasingly progressive district with young voters that you are 100% against the LGBTQ community.

Bigot. That’s not what the voters want.

Not simple but definitely cruel and political

Amazing, way to protect us from 1 or 2 % of the population. Why don’t Republicans work on something important like inflation? Ohh, I remember now it’s because you don’t actually have an effective plan. So you fear monger to divide and distract people.
