Josh Hawley (r) [2016 file photo].

Today from the book hawker, also known as the third Senator from the Commonwealth of Virginia:

Josh Hawley @HawleyMO
Just 8 days until the launch of the book the Left tried to cancel and suppress! It’s all about #BigTech’s attempt to run our government and our lives – with big help from the Left. Order now!

You think there’s a chapter titled: “Viereinhalb Jahre (des Kampfes) gegen Lüge, Dummheit und Feigheit”? Just asking.

Some of the responses:

“The Left” did not try to “cancel and suppress” this awful book, the sole purpose of which is to make $$$ for Josh Hawley.
The publishing co declined to publish it after Hawley promoted & supported insurrection Jan. 6.
He’s still promoting & supporting insurrection.
Vote him out.

Any book signing events in the KC area? Any idea who might be reviewing it?
Late night TV appearances to promote? Fallon, Colbert, Daily Show?
Fun podcast hits?
Or are you just going to depend on your rich friends to buy these babies by the pound.

Heh. Wingnut welfare.

From the description: “Amassing unimaginable amounts of personal data, giants like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Apple—once symbols of American ingenuity and freedom—have become a techno-oligarchy with overwhelming economic and political power.” *Sells book ON AMAZON!*

You think the book comes with a tracking chip? Just asking.

Way to stick it to “big tech” by selling your book through an independent, small business, brick & mortar bookstore like… *checks notes* …Amazon.com.

They don’t do wingnut welfare.

“Big tech is running our lives!” He tweets, with an Amazon link, from his iPhone

Come on, man. This has to be a satire account, right?

Imagine that.. “This item is not eligible to be reviewed”

please tell the Senator that his constituents hate him and he has no credibility. Also, using Twitter to hype and Amazon to sell a book about the evils of Big Tech is hypocritical.

I don’t know how big of a sucker you have to be to click on a Twitter link leading to Amazon to buy a “cancelled” book about the tyranny of big tech, but I would imagine it has to be pretty big.

Subtitled “I hate Bezos but hey, he has the biggest selling platform and what I’m really all about is money, not actual ideas.”

On brand, Senator.

I hope the pages are three ply, we don’t want anyone getting a rash.

Hawking your book via Twitter and Amazon. You’ve officially skipped the audio track of your life. It’s like when the words don’t sync up in a movie.

Local man uses Big Tech social media site to post link to Big Tech shopping site to advertise book about how Big Tech is trying to silence him.

Not everyone should write a book. Especially you.

And on and on…
