Clearly the answer to the right wing question #WhatIsAWoman is: a person you collect a bounty on if she tries to get an abortion and who you shrug at and say “have the baby or we’ll sue you” if she gets raped. Also: someone whose job is to have big boobs and get men a sandwich.

Joy-Ann (Pro-Democracy) Reid @JoyAnnReid
Also #WhatIsAWoman — a person you pay 80 percent of what you pay a man to do the same job; or 60-67 percent if she’s Black, Hispanic, AAPI or indigenous.

Also #WhatIsAWoman — A person, whether cis or trans, old or young, whom the right does not feel they need bother to respect if she is not white or MAGA or Christian or conservative. Even if she is a sitting federal judge. I think that about sums it up.

Statement on my affidavit to the Boone County court:

‘I stand by my sworn statements. I did not discuss the contents of my affidavit with anyone other than my counsel and, after the affidavit was filed, my immediate family. My only interest is what’s best for my two children, and for the last four years, I have gone to great lengths to keep these family matters private to protect them. I am not interested in litigating this matter anywhere other than the courtroom. At the appropriate time in the legal process, I will provide whatever evidence and documentation the court requests, including testimony under oath.’

Real men never abuse women and children!
My statement calling on Eric Greitens to drop out of the U.S. Senate race immediately.

Hi, Vicky Hartzler here. I just wanted to comment on the news today that Eric Greitens’ ex-wife, Sheena, revealed that when they were married he physically abused her and the children. And he used the power of the Governors office to silence and intimidate her.

Well, I have one thing that I want to say. Real men never abuse women and children. Period. End of story.

It’s time for Eric to get out of the Senate race and to get professional help.

Eric Schmitt @Eric_Schmitt
The behavior described in this affidavit is cause for Eric Greitens to be in prison, not on the ballot for U.S. Senate. He should end his campaign immediately. 2/2 #MOSen
