Gaels Public House, Kansas City, missouri, Trudy Busch Valentine, U.S. Senate

On Thursday Trudy Busch Valentine, the Democratic Party nominee for the open U.S. Senate seat in Missouri, was in Kansas City for a number of campaign events. One stop between events was at Gaels Public House at 55th and Troost.

Valentine (D) spoke with individuals in the room, grabbed a bite to eat and a Busch beer, and listened to the introductions before speaking to the crowd.

Trudy Busch Vaentine (D).

Speaking:

Trudy Busch Valentine (D) tells her story which includes her path toward nursing and raising a family.

She’s nothing like her opponent. Her kindness, interest in others, and empathy is easily apparent.

In a phrase, let the welfare of the people be the supreme law. That should be the norm for Missouri politicians.

Conversations and photos after addressing the crowd:

That’s no way to go through life.

As is usual, we’re don’t allow ignorant comments out of moderation to be linked with the original post. But we will present some of them in subsequent posts for the purpose of public derision and mockery. As we see fit.

When someone posts a comment here their email and IP addresses remain on the system as part of the record.

A troll took “offense” at beer.

She is proud to be part of a family that produces a drink that causes more heartbreak than anything besides drugs. I will not vote for her. This article shows how proud she is of the production of alcohol!

You were never going to vote for her.

Uh, so you’re not going to vote for Eric Schmitt (r), right? He posted yesterday about drinking beer rather than a warm non-alcohol Autumn beverage. Then there’s Brett Kavanaugh (r), you know, the guy who stated under oath before the U.S. Senate that he likes beer. Where are you on his lifetime appointment?

So, you’re not going to vote at all because of all the beer inundating the world.

Dumbass.

Last night in Kansas City:

Trudy Busch Valentine (D).

Yesterday evening, from the guy who is apparently afraid to hold a beer:

Eric Schmitt @Eric_Schmitt
US Senate candidate, MO
While my opponent The Heiress Valentine is emailing people about the beginning of “Pumpkin Spice Latte” season — I’m here to remind Missourians it’s Busch Light camo can season. Enjoy!

I got to spend tonight in Kansas City at Gaels Public House — an ice cold Busch Light is always better with friends.

I especially want to thank Senator @GregRazer and Derrick Bachman for their hospitality and their warm and gracious welcome.

If you want to save me the seat that’s fine, better than you voting to sell it off to China like it’s 150,000 acres of Missouri farmland.

Hey @Eric_Schmitt you’re supposedly a legal scholar. Can a former President declassify nuclear secrets by thinking about it? Asking for your friend.

The Left’s War On History Is Really A War On The God Of The Bible
America as we know it is the product of the revolution of the Bible. But now that biblical inheritance is under siege.

Anyone really think he believes this shit?

Some of the responses:

Dude only weak men with weak constitutions and weak faith try to start a “holy wars” in the name of their God that nobody has any interest in. [….]

[….] A scumbag seditionist with a Bible does not a Christian make.
– a proverb, probably.

Well, since we’re on a path toward religious war in the U.S., I’ve decided to invest in Toyota stock. [….]

This might be one of the saddest attempts at Biblical exegesis I’ve ever read.

Good grief why aren’t you embarrassed of this

I mean it’s hard to know where to begin, Senator, but ask any Jew, scholar of Judaism, or person who’s read Wikipedia and they’ll tell you that in no way was Christianity a continuation of a revolution started by the Jews

Honestly, the youth pastor act is getting tired, but more than that it is counter to the Enlightenment ideals that actually brought us the American Revolution, and it is also not your job

I understand that you think your electoral future is best served by stirring up your base against the non-believers, heathens, and those of faiths other than your version of Christianity, but all your talk of us and them could not be more anti-American or more dangerous

Separation of church & state, sir. It’s a foundation of this country as it should be. We welcome ALL religions, all ethniticities. We are the melting pot. I love diversity and opportunities to learn about other cultures. In a country of freedom, why force others to your beliefs?

Up yours. [….]

Funny, they could have mentioned the Bible as a source of the rights there in the Declaration but instead went with “self-evident.” Why do you think that was?

I know this is off topic, but what brand of running shoe do you use? I’m in the market for a comfy shoe, ready and willing to work when I need to run.

Josh Hawley is a coward

First, the is no such thing as “the woke left.” This is a marketing strategy to encourage division—woke vs non- woke, for instance. Second, everything else is misrepresention and lies. It is not a foundation of Christianity to lie, manipulate, or bear false witness, Mr. Hawley.

What the fuck are you talking about?

Dude, quit pushing your religion on people. It really is pretty disturbing how infatuated you all are with your beliefs. Try being a good human. You know just to be a good human

What God and what Bible? Yours isn’t the only one, you know.

Some serious Christo-fascism from running man

Once again I’m ashamed you are my Senator. This may be a new low for you too, thought you were religious? This says the opposite

Let’s see your biblical study credentials?
Because after reading this, your seminary should be discredited if they let you graduate.

Maybe Josh Hawley (r) should ask for his money back.

Your god is not my god, Mr. Constitutional Lawyer.

Run that by me again.

No it’s not. You’re the ones that have a problem with history. Practice your religion however you want, just keep it out of my government. I see nothing Christian about you.

Keep your religion out of my government.

ThErE’S a WaR oN mAgIc SkY dAdDy. I hAvE tHe SaDs.

Reskinning the Taliban with Christianity doesn’t make it any better, Josh.

Hard no on theocratic governance.

Is Mike in or out?
