B-2 bomber. [2020 file photo]

This afternoon:

Congressman Mark Alford
[March 1, 2026]

Once again, the heroic airmen of Missouri’s own Whiteman Air Force Base lead the way.
The Show Me State continues to show the world what Peace Through Strength looks like.

U.S. Central Command
[March 1, 2026]

Last night, U.S. B-2 stealth bombers, armed with 2,000 lb. bombs, struck Iran’s hardened ballistic missile facilities. No nation should ever doubt America’s resolve.
[….]

Mark Alford (r) [2024 file photo].

Some of the responses to Mark Alford (r):

==========

When the government tells you that what you are is seeing peace when it is war, it’s time to get new representation.

head in the sand? There’s never been peace in the entire history of mankind.

what do [you] love about being a propaganda apologist the best?

Does Mark pay you well to make a fool of yourself on social media?

Don’t you think it’s about time, then?

time for what? Finally ripping the Constitution to shreds? What is it that you love the most about American soldiers being killed to cover up for the Epstein files?

==========

What happened to no new wars, Mark? I was promised that a vote for Kamala meant certain war with Iran. Weird.

How many civilians did those bombs kill,? How many children?

zero! I ran Hitler school with their own missile, they were unfazed because they had just killed 50,000 of its own people in the last three weeks

Heard the B2s leave. What an awesome sound they make. So proud of Whiteman and all crews involved. Seeing a B2 is like watching an Eagle. AMERICAN proud

Sure. What good is the $2 billion cost per aircraft if you don’t use them every once in a while, right?

So what’s the plan Mark? Do unarmed Iranians rise up against maybe a million military loyalists? Do they see them as the enemy or the country that is now dropping bombs?

We need to stop bragging Mark. We’re not ten foot tall and bullet proof. Have you forgotten they stuck it to us once? There’s a real good chance there going to get even with us.

The United States just killed the equivilant of the Pope for the Iranians. Mark Alford doesn’t have a clue.

Germans tore down their own wall. When another country takes down a foreign government it can have unintended consequences. We removed Iran’s elected leader in 1953 and installed a monarch. In 1979 the Islamic (Iranian) Revolution removed the monarch.

Operation Epstein Fury

We didn’t Obliterate those sites….. the first time Mr. Alford??

For the U.S., the deaths of three service members in the first two days of the war signaled that Iran was more prepared than the Trump administration anticipated, U.S. military officials said.

How much does all this cost taxpayers?

Our service men and women wouldn’t be in harms way if your 🍊🎪🤡 would stop putting them there

My cousin’s husband is one of those pilots. They have 3 small children who pray he comes home from your made up war.

==========

I’ll take “Totally Serious Republican Toadies Feigning Gravitas, Concern (for debt, troops, privilege, et al.), and Statemanship” for $2.59, please Alex!

What IS Mark Alford?

===========

Wonderful that we are able to send these great planes halfway around the world to drop their bombs. Meanwhile we here in the 4th District are having to deal with substandard wages, outrageous healthcare insurance premiums, and expensive groceries. How is bombing Iran helping your constituents here at home? That age old question “guns or butter, but you can’t have both” needs an answer. Which side are you on?

You sir, and I use that term loosely, are supporting the actions of an anti-constitutional criminal.
Trump and the GOP are the most Un American thing I could have ever imagined.
Disgraceful and disgusting.

This. Is. Dumb.

Hey sleepy mark better get your kids and family members down to your recruitment office and enlist them for this useless war you support.

Congressman Mark Alford, it’s not surprising that you misuse the phrase, “peace through strength”, since you prove daily you can’t think for yourself.
This phrase has always meant attaining a position of superior military strength so that others think twice before attacking. It also sets the stage for negotiations when those involved are motivated by a moral compass instead of a greed for power or fortune.
The sadly relevant phrase here is “peace through war”, which is as stupid as it sounds, yet here we are.
Mr. Alford, I feel certain I am not alone in delighting in the thought of you suffering an embarrassing defeat at the polls come November.

This isn’t Peace, Congressman Mark Alford! This is far from it!! This is unnecessary Aggression; and You, Congressman, should be outraged that Trump did not pass this through Congress before acting!!!

Squirrel!

Squirrel!

Today:

Congressman Mark Alford
[November 15, 2025]

If adversaries can buy land ½ a mile from our nuclear fleet at Whiteman Air Force Base, we’ve got a SERIOUS problem.

I’m demanding answers.👇

[….]

There is much hilarity in the responses:

Hey, Siri. Who was president in 2017?

Heh.

Calling it rent then? Seems Qatar has some influence

Is it equally concerning that the president has asked the AG to investigate individuals who are named in the Epstein emails at the same time calling it all a “hoax”? That’s not sensible or normal on many levels.

“Investigate The Hoax!” 🤡
Trump’s behavior is totally normal for an innocent man. He’s clearly innocent. Obviously.

Do you feel the same about the Qatar facility in Idaho?

Wait until you hear about Qatar getting a whole air base in Idaho…

The owner is buddies with Trump. Why don’t you ask him why he has those ties

September 2025 executive order commits the U.S. to taking “all lawful and appropriate measures,” including military action, against external attacks on Qatar, solidifying its role as a major security guarantor. Guess who gave a gift of an airplane to trump.

But you sure seem to be (for sale).

600,000 Chinese students and Qatar say otherwise.

Please- everything is for sale right now. How much did your soul cost?

Mark Alford (r) [2025 file photo]

No answers. Someone sold and someone bought. It’s that simple. I don’t know what the answer might be in a free society.

EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!!!!!

Great, but don’t forget you were gonna fix healthcare first.

Ohhhhh the emails are bad. What’s your vote gonna be, small man?

Trump sold it to the Qataris for a $400 million plane

You gave an Orange Felon the nuclear codes

While you’re waiting for answers where’s your healthcare plan? Republicans have 15 years to come up with their promised replacement for the ACA. Seems like that would have been a better use of your time during the shutdown instead of staging stunts like cooking hotdogs and slamming Democrats on Facebook

And you are a representative from Missouri and have been for several years – what have you done to stop it – absolutely nothing until your orange turd has some opinion on it.

What’s the deal with the Tariffs. The President is having another insane and stupid TACO moment. More Argentina beef. MAGA!

Hey Mark you’re still a POS

Since the republican party don’t like the ACA they have had 15 yrs. to give us a good Gov. paid healthcare system like they have. The republican party has been slowly destroying our middle class before republican Nixon became Pres. we had a non-profit healthcare system and Nixon destroyed that and before Reagan was Pres. the rich was paying 78% in taxes and Reagan change that to 28% and Reagan also messed with our SS took it our of our SS Fund and put some in our General Fund and Trump has given trillions of dollars of tax breaks to the richest people on the planet !!

More diversion posts. You’re hardly at work during your 4-day weekend (following your extended summer vacation).

400 million dollar jet for Trump, our security is truly for sale to the highest bidder and you just another lying hypocrite.

Do you have a straight face when you make these obvious ludicrous posts? I mean, are you serious???
I mean, your cult followers might still blindly believe this, but let me tell ya…that group is getting smaller and smaller…33% approval rating for Dear Leader…which, I believe is the lowest in U.S. history!
In TRUMP’S AMERICA…EVERYTHING IS FOR SALE!

There’s that.

Again, yore not worried about trump giving red carpet treatment to former Al-Queda but this upsets you. Bootlicker!

Who’s party voted to allow this in the first place??? Gtfoh

Do tell us about China (August 2, 2024)

You want full transparency when it comes to national security but you are content to have a drunken former Fox News weekend anchor (oops! I forgot you TV types think you are qualified to do anything) in charge of the department of defense and a podcaster as head of the FBI?
How about we start with some transparency regarding the boats that keep getting blown up in international waters. Or what’s going on with Venezuela or Argentina?

While Trump has the Saudi royalty here who killed Kashoghi. There is a log in your party’s eye

B-2, Houthi

Statement by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III on U.S. Airstrikes in Houthi-Controlled Areas of Yemen
Oct. 16, 2024 |
Today, U.S. military forces, including U.S. Air Force B-2 bombers, conducted precision strikes against five hardened underground weapons storage locations in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. U.S. forces targeted several of the Houthis’ underground facilities housing various weapons components of types that the Houthis have used to target civilian and military vessels throughout the region. This was a unique demonstration of the United States’ ability to target facilities that our adversaries seek to keep out of reach, no matter how deeply buried underground, hardened, or fortified. The employment of U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers demonstrate U.S. global strike capabilities to take action against these targets when necessary, anytime, anywhere.

B-2, missouri

* J. Robert Oppenheimer (1965)

By arrangement and through reassuring multiple layers of serious security throughout the process we were able to tour a B-2 bomber at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. No phones, no cameras, no hats (potential FOD).

The tour is fascinating and, of course, sobering.

One comes away with a greater appreciation for the dedication and professionalism of the ground and flight crews. They don’t have easy jobs.

A bit of tour swag:

Maybe they’re just checking on all of their Missouri farm landholdings

Eric Schmitt (r) [2022 file photo].

Eric Schmitt (r) should definitely understand the landholdings part.

Eric Schmitt @Eric_Schmitt
The idea that Communist China has a spy balloon headed towards Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri right now — the home of the Stealth Bomber — is absolutely unbelievable.

No American should accept this. I don’t.
1:19 PM · Feb 3, 2023

But, you’ll accept their ownership of Missouri farm land.

Dude, they just need to use on easily accessible online map application:

Some of the responses to Eric Schmitt’s (r) social media post:

Why would they send a balloon when they could just park a spy satellite over it?

Or just use an online map application?

A high altitude balloon has zero functional ability beyond that of the already existing satellites orbiting overhead. This news cycle is embarrassing.

Wait until you learn about the existence of satellites [….]

I suppose this balloon is a good enough excuse as any to continue inflating defense spending for your buddies at Lockheed though, amirite?

Just wait till you find out about spy satellites

JFC man, I can see it on Google Earth right now. Do you truly believe that the Chinese are too stupid to know where our domestic military bases are and what we house at them? What on earth are they going to see that any 10 year old with a laptop can’t already?

See image above.

Hey Senator, remember when you gave away Missouri farmland to China?
[….]

Gaslight much?

He considers that a feature, not a bug.

Scared of a balloon? Wow.

Several Members of Congress are already mad tweeting. They’re on the case. We’re good. /sarcasm.

just checking up on the land you sold them

Heh.

I told you not to worry. @RepMTG knows where all the Jewish space lasers are.
Now calm down they won’t bother you bc you already sold all our farmland to them.

Just checking on the land you sold them. How is that ham tasting now?

Just imagine an advanced satellite making passes over that base. Oh wait.

Or, just commercial satellites. See image above.

You know they have satellites, right?

Well, if China didn’t know where the stealth bomber was kept before, they do now, due to your tweet. Way to go!

We’re all doomed.

Please explain in detail which weapons system you’d like to use to destroy a target with a limited radar cross section that’s flying at 100,000 feet? As usual you are using this to keep your base angry and scared.

Maybe Jewish space lasers? They seem to be popular with right wingnut republicans.

You do know that scores of Chinese airliners fly over US air space everyday, don’t you? And wait til you hear about satellites.

Good jobs report, huh?

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner!

Next level gaslighting from the man who voted TWICE to sell Missouri farmland to China

Heh.

Oh no… China is going to find out super secret Stealth Bomber base.
Way to go Eric, you just told the whole world where it is.

Oh no! What are they going to do?
A slow moving balloon is heading in a general direction and there’s nothing that can be done about it…

You are right. Good thing the balloon hasn’t made it to space, where it could orbit and send images of the entire world back.

Someone should probably invent something like that…

Oh dear..I didn’t know it was a secret. I guess those satellites should be more careful.

Telling where bomber is ! On Twitter is not helping.

JFC. We’re all doomed.

B-2 bomber.

Shoot it down over Missouri? Why not, I’m willing to give up that state.

Hey! No.

Didn’t know Missouri was the home of the stealth bomber until you posted this. Who do you work for?

Maybe sarcasm? Nah.

Is the location of this plane that you just posted supposed to be public?

Well, yes.

Did you really just broadcast that?

[Smacks forehead]

Most americans didn’t accept you selling farmland to China either. Yet here we are.

You just doxed the stealth bomber. RIP your security clearance.

Too stupid to remember to breathe…

B-2 bomber.

Maybe a Jewish Space Laser can shoot that thing down.

Great minds…

OK lady but this is the men’s room at taco bell

4th Congressional District, B-2, missouri, Teresa Hensley, Vicky Hartzler, Whiteman AFB

Vicky Hartzler (r), as a member-elect of the House, in November 2010:

…Last week I had a great day meeting with the commanders at Whiteman Air Force Base, learning more about their missions, hearing their concerns and ideas, and touring the Base.  It was an honor to meet these dedicated public servants who have given their lives and talents to keeping us free.  I was thrilled to get to sit in the cockpit of the Apache Helicopter, an A-10 Thunderbolt, and the B-2 Stealth Bomber.  We have such a national security treasure here in Missouri’s 4th and I look forward to working with them to protect and defend our country…

This past week:

The House Armed Services Committee filed H.R. 4310 with the Rules Committee on Thursday May 10, 2012. H.R. 4310, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013, was filed as ordered and reported by HASC on Wednesday, May 09, 2012….

Representative Robert Andrews (D-New Jersey) offered Amendment 128:

AMENDMENT TO H.R. 4310

OFFERED BY MR. ANDREWS OF NEW JERSEY

In section 4201 of division D, relating to Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation, increase the amount for B-2 EHF Extremely high Frequency Radio (PE 0101127F) by $71,000,000.

In section 4201 of division D, relating to Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation, reduce the amount for Ballistic Missile Defense Midcourse Defense Segment (PE 0603882C) by $71,000,000.

X

The amendment failed 26-35:

Aye:

Owens, Larsen, Langevin, Smith, Reyes, Sanchez, Cooper, McIntyre, Brady, Andrews, Mrs. Davis, Heinrich, Bordallo, Courtney, Loebsack, Tsongas, Pingree, Ryan, Critz, Garamendi, Ruppersberger, Johnson, Sutton, Hanabusa, Hochul, Speier

Nay:

Hunter, LoBiondo, McKeon, Bartlett, Thornberry, Wittman, Turner, Akin, Forbes, Miller, Wilson, Lamborn, Kline, Mr. Rogers, Franks, Shuster, Conaway, Kissell, Rooney, Coffman, Fleming, Young, Platts, Riggell, Gibson, Hartzler, Heck, Brooks, Schilling, Runyan, Scott, Griffin, Palazzo, West, Roby

[emphasis added]

That’s right, Representative Vicky Hartzler (r) voted against an appropriation for an operational system based in her district in favor of a pie in the sky boondoggle throwback to the Reagan era.

Big mistake. Big. Huge.

Who benefits?:

National Missile Defense Contractors

National Missile Defense Contractors in the United States have been actively involved in Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) since the 1980s. However, the project did not officially begin until 1998 “with a $1.6 billion dollar initial contract to Boeing.”

[….]

“Boeing as the prime-contractor is responsible for the development, test, and integration of all the GMD elements, including the Ground-based Interceptor, X-Band Radar Prototype, Fire Control & Communications systems, Upgraded Early Warning Radars and interfaces to the Defense Support Program. Major team members include Raytheon Company (kill vehicle, radars); Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (BMC2); Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (booster vehicles); Orbital Sciences Corporation (booster vehicles); Bechtel (facilities design and construction); and Teledyne Brown Engineering (Integrated Systems Testing Capabilities and technical services).”
