That’s being charitable.

As always, we don’t allow ignorant trolling comments out of moderation to be linked with the original post, but we will present some of them in subsequent posts for the purpose of public derision and mockery. As we see fit.

We see fit.

This comment was submitted today in response to There is no such thing as a “moderate” republican (July 26, 2024):

Arkansas foisted the Clintons off on us. (and we both know he was talking about the US/Mexico border)

Have you seen/read these books? they’re porn, in junior high and middle school libraries. as well as the community libraries in the teen and young adult sections, possibly children’s sections.

If A person can be charged with two murders for killing a pregnant woman, why is it not Murder when Planned Parenhood kills one of the two?

The 2nd Amendment is there for a reason, and it’s not for hunting. Congress is specifically prohibited by it from making ANY gun laws.
Yet they keep trying…

We don’t know what the budget looks like, try to find the info yourself and post a link.

And we ARE worried about men/boys in womens/girls sports. Why should a female lose out on a scholarship because these people want to force the rest of us to participate in their fantasy?

There are people who call themselves moderate republicans, not sure if they are or if they’re dems who know they can’t get elected if anyone knew what they really are.

Maroon.

Resent Arkansas much? Just asking. I hear the catfish is good. Why would a state senate candidate concern himself with the Mexican border?

What’s the current trend in border crossings? Go look it up. There was a bipartisan immigration bill, but Donald Trump (r) bad mouthed it because he didn’t want Joe Biden (D) to get any credit for addressing the issue before the election. There’s that.

I visit libraries all the time. Public and school libraries. Here’s the thing – you don’t want you and yours reading a book? – then don’t check it out. You don’t have any right to impose your pearl clutching censorship on anyone else.

If you drop your peanut butter toast face down on the carpet your bicycle goes faster uphill.

Greg Abbott (r) and your ilk kill both. You nor the state have any business interfering in the reproductive health decision of any other person. Against the death penalty? Good for you. Against war? Good for you. I doubt it for you, though. Dead school children are a small price to pay? You’re not “pro-life”, you’re a fucking psychopath.

You have a reading comprehension problem. Well regulated militia. Try sounding the words out. I doubt it will help.

Go look up the budget yourself. It’s easy enough to do. I suspect you’re lazy and incurious, though.

Gee, everyone or no one gets a sports scholarship, but this is happening everywhere, and this must be addressed so you can happily stew in your bigotry.

Overton Window. Look it up. There is no such thing as a “moderate” republican.

What gave you the mistaken impression that we give a flying fuck about what you think?

DAMAGE CONTROL
Republicans Are Scrambling to Salvage Their Doomed Biden Impeachment Push
The party’s star witness was charged last week with making everything up. The DOJ added on Tuesday that he admitted Russia was feeding him info
BY JEREMY CHILDS
FEBRUARY 21, 2024

[….]

THE DEPARTMENT OF Justice has charged a former FBI informant — whose claims Republicans used to bolster allegations of a corrupt bribery scheme involving Hunter Biden and the Ukrainian energy company Burisma — with two counts of making false statements to federal authorities.

The indictment, announced Thursday by Special Counsel David Weiss, alleges that Alexander Smirnov “falsely claimed” that during two business meetings in 2015 and/or 2016 “executives associated with Burisma, admitted to him that they hired [Hunter Biden] to ‘protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems.’”

Smirnov added that the Burisma officials also said they had paid “$5 million each” to Joe and Hunter Biden, so that the then vice president’s son would “‘take care of all those issues through his dad’ referring to a criminal investigation being conducted by the then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General into Burisma.”

The indictment alleges that “the events that Smirnov first reported to the FBI Agent in June 2020 were fabrications. In truth and fact, the defendant had contact with executives from Burisma in 2017, after the end of the administration when [Joe Biden] had no ability to influence U.S. policy and after the Ukrainian Prosecutor General had been fired in February 2016.” The DOJ claims that Smirnov “transformed his routine and unextraordinary business contacts with Burisma in 2017 and later into bribery allegations,” after expressing bias against Joe Biden’s candidacy for the presidency in 2020.

[….]

And:

A now-indicted FBI informant was at the ‘heart’ of the GOP’s case against Joe Biden
After the indictment of the source of false allegations against the president and Hunter Biden, Republicans are downplaying the extent to which they relied upon the claims.
[….]
House Republicans even threatened to hold the director of the FBI in contempt last year to force the bureau to show them the underlying documents, which were eventually released, sparking breathless headlines in conservative media outlets about the false allegations that Biden and his son Hunter were paid $5 million in bribes.

Just weeks ago, one of the leaders of the impeachment inquiry even pointed to Smirnov’s alleged lies to the FBI as their strongest evidence.

“That to me is really the heart of this matter,” Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio — a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump and one of the architects of the impeachment push — said in a Jan. 11 appearance on Fox News, referring to the FBI FD-1023 confidential human source form containing false allegations from the now-indicted former FBI informant. “The most corroborating evidence we have is the 1023 form from this highly credible confidential human source.”

Now, after the source of those allegations has been federally charged, House Republicans say that it wasn’t the “heart” of their inquiry after all.
[….]

Useful idiots.

“Make America Great Again” – in Russian.

Last August:

[….]
Mark Alford (r): “Well, let me tell you what’s going on and, and a little about how this works. Um, so as soon as we took power in Congress, uh, in early January, and even before that, early, the formation of these committees started. So, Judiciary, which is run by Jim Jordan, you know him, and then our Oversight committee run by James Comer, uh, both men of integrity, both Christians, and both trying to find the truth in all this. They have been digging, and digging, and digging. This is why you see these bank records that have come out now that have linked directly twenty million dollars at a minimum in illegal payments that have come from, uh, oligarchs in Russia, Ukraine, and some from China, an adversarial nation, that have gone to the Biden crime family. And so, as this is coming up, as they are interviewing more people it does take time. I know the American people, on you and I, are frustrated. And that’s why I pushed [House Speaker] Kevin McCarthy last week when I talked to him. I said, we’ve got to have an impeachment inquiry when we get back.”

Question: “And please make it where we can watch it.” [voice: “Um, hm.”]

Mark Alford (r): “It will be where you can watch it. I guarantee you that. Um, here, here’s the difference though, all right, I, let’s go back a couple years when the Democrats were, had their knives out for Trump and impeached him twice, right, on, on, stupid things that he should never have been impeached on. And yet the Democrats because they were in power and they controlled the House and the Senate, uh, they were able to do that. Um, they didn’t get a conviction in the Senate, so it was really control in the House. But my point is, is that, um, they made a mockery [“They did.”] out of the jud…, out of the impeachment process. We cannot, you know, I know that Republicans are always like the nice guys. But we’ve got to protect our republic. [voice: “Yes.”] And part of that protecting our republic is defending the Constitution. [voice: “Yes.”] And part of defending the Constitution is doing it the right way. [“it is.”] Congress has two big powers, to declare war, and to impeach. And if we don’t do it in the right way we’re not gonna get Democrats on board with us to see the truth and admit the truth. And to convict in the Senate. And we’re going to do, do a disservice to our future generations by continuing to make a mockery out of impeachment [inaudible]. Now we’re, we’re gonna have an impeachment inquiry. I’m ninety-nine percent sure of that. um, it, but it may take a while to get it done. There’s still new evidence that’s coming out. Uh, every day they’re interviewing someone new. They subpoenaed the IRS agents, the investigators who’ve looked into this. And they’re going to make them talk on Capitol hill.”

It’s a clown show.

Today:

Congressman Mark Alford
[December 13, 2023]
Today, the House is set to vote on an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.
I’ve long called for this impeachment inquiry and for us to follow the facts wherever they may lead.
House Republicans will uncover the truth.
[….]

There is much hilarity in the responses:

Wishes in one hand and BULLSH*T in the other. The GQP has been desperately searching for SOME thing for over 5 years and hasn’t come up with a single thing – AGAIN. BENGHAZI!! HER EMAILS!! [….]

Trump pulling your Partys’ puppet strings much?
Jack Smith’s Supreme Court move is really eating at the Orange one.
He will be on trial before elections and is throwing a tantrum.
So let’s distract from important matters of budget and money to Ukraine and Israel by spewing this nonsense.
You and your ilk do not deserve the salary and benefits we the taxpayers are supporting you with!

“Republicans will uncover the truth.” After years of investigating Biden Republicans have found nothing illegal. But go ahead and do this then go back to complaining about the border. Do something!

“House Republicans will uncover the truth.”
I spit out my coffee I laughed so hard.
The GOP knows the truth like an Orange Defendant weighs 215 pounds.

they won’t even let Hunter Biden testify publicly. That says it all.

Man, there are House Republicans who still can’t accept the truth that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. Your own supporters are posting that there isn’t a real war between Ukraine and Russia while your caucus is preparing to deliver a giant merry Christmas present to Vladimir Putin. The justice department is prosecuting Hunter Biden and, unlike the felons who were close to Donald Trump, Hunter isn’t getting a pardon. So far there has been no evidence of “high crimes and misdemeanors” as required for impeachment in the Constitution but I guess that distracts from House Republicans inability to pass anything that would actually help people. Very disappointed in you. I expected better than a MAGA echo.

Jason Woodson – And Trump never cheated on a pregnant Melania with a porn star.
And Trump is going to build a great big beautiful wall. And Mexico will pay for it.
And Trump is going to repeal and replace ObamaCare. In fact, the replacement plan is on the shelf and ready for release anytime.
And Trump never sexually assaulted anyone.
Alford should tell us again about House Republicans and truth.
Hey, I wonder if in addition to the truck payments, the House Republicans will find Hunter also reimbursed his dad for an oil change on the truck. OMG!!!!

[….]
I’m laughing at the gullible fools in the GOP – including you and Alford – to believe anything the Serial Orange Liar says.
Graduated top of his class, right?

The most-compromised President in history?
Hardly, Mark, but you never miss a chance at hyperbole.
There’s nothing there, Mark. Waste the time and money on this frivolous pursuit, then profess fiscal responsibility.

“We don’t have the evidence now, but we may find it later.”

Wednesday night:

Congressman Mark Alford
[November 22, 2023]
In 2014, former SecDef Robert Gates said: “I think he [Biden] has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades”
Since Biden took office:
– We botched the Afghanistan withdrawal,
– Russia invaded Ukraine,
– Israel is under attack.
Let’s be clear: this is what happens under weak leadership.

There is much hilarity in the responses:

So, in your opinion, Biden is president of the world, not the United States.
W, Trump, and Pompeo botched Afghanistan by negotiating with the Taliban, not the President of Afghanistan. They dated the withdrawal so either they could back out if Trump was re-elected, or it would be on Biden’s plate. Biden didn’t negotiate the exit. He worked with the garbage the Trump admin handed him. I hypothesize we’d still be in Afghanistan if Trump were reelected for the same reason we were there for 20 years: it was so damn profitable.
Biden is not the president of Ukraine or Russia. There is a whole series of events beginning in 1991 when Ukraine declared Independence from Moscow that led to the Ukraine-Russian war. Did Putin take advantage of the election chaos in the U.S. in the timing of his invasion? Likely. Remind me again who attempted to prevent the peaceful transfer of power in January 2021.
Biden is not the president of Israel. Hamas has attacked Israel every year since 2001.
Trump was president from 2017 to 2020
In 2017, Hamas attacked Israel on February 6, 8, 20, 27, March 15, 18, April 10, May 23, June 26, July 23, 24, August 8, November 30, December 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 21, 29.
In 2018, Hamas attacked Israel on January 1 and 3. February 2, 17, 18. May 29. June 3, 18, 20, 27. July 14. August 8. November 11 and 12.
In 2019, Hamas attacked Israel on March 14 and 25, May 4, June 12, September, and November 12.
In 2020, Hamas attacked Israel on May 5, June 15 and 26, July 5, August 2, 16 and 21, September 15, October 16 and 22, November 14 and 21. December 25.

The US has known Putin was aiming for Ukraine for years and increasingly so after they invaded Crimea in 2014. TRUMP’s actions weakened Ukraine, divided NATO and emboldened Putin. TRUMP took Russia’s side when Putin first invaded. When Putin invaded Crimea,Trump praised Putin at 2014’s CPAC for how he handled the takeover of Crimea and predicted that “the rest of Ukraine will fall … fairly quickly.”
Biden had to follow the plan TRUMP negotiated with terrorists in Afghanistan.
TRUMP’s Israeli ‘peace plan’ negotiations had zero Palestinians in attendance and was negotiated by his son in law with zero experience in foreign relations and financial interests in Israeli settlements in Palestinian lands.

1. The Afghanistan withdrawal was on a timeline agreement Trump brokered.
2. Trump would have disbanded NATO giving Putin what he really wanted.
3. Israel’s right wing government (again friendly to Trump) was too busy in the West Bank which led to the colosial security failure.

keep pandering Marky! It’s all you have! [….]

YOU ARE WORTHLESS!

Weak leadership. I couldn’t agree with you more. YOU are a weak leader. You pander to who you think will listen and you lie on a regular basis. You point fingers, bash our military, bash our CBP officers, and spend your time on the only thing you have ever known, which is TV.
You are spending the day before Thanksgiving trying to further divide the country. Something you do every day and then you try to come in on Sunday and play the little brotherly love, holier than thou routine.
Then you get on X yesterday and further embarrass yourself and our country. Do you think it makes you important to post this in a direct response to the President? Partly to blame? They had to educate Greene on how the legislation process works. Do you need the same lesson? You are in the legislative branch. You might read up on what you are responsible for in between TV segments and tapings of Mark Alford’s America videos.

Congressman Allwrong- Maybe if you keep making the case for the orange fascist dictator – as you do here – should he be elected, you’ll be rewarded with a plum.
Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, perhaps?

We’re thinking it could be director of a clown college.

Some Scalise people don’t like Jordan
The chairman of the armed services is against Jordan because of his stance on defense spending.

Cue the circus music.

Olivia Beavers @Olivia_Beavers
“Absolutely not,” said Rep. Ann Wagner, a Scalise ally, when I asked if she will support Jordan for speaker.

“Yesterday in conference, he gave the most disgraceful, ungracious – I can’t call it a concession speech – of all time. There were gasps in the room.”
8:33 PM · Oct 12, 2023

….Wagner then recalled another moment that lost Jordan her support. It took place during a private meeting between Scalise and Jordan, less than an hour after the majority leader won the House GOP’s internal speaker ballot. Wagner wasn’t in the room, but she remained outside in Scalise’s office and took in the immediate aftermath.

According to Wagner and other House Republicans briefed on the meeting, Jordan said to Scalise: “You get one ballot. And when you go down, you will nominate me.”

She said Scalise pushed back, arguing he had won by the conference rules, to which Jordan replied: “America wants me,” before storming out the door….

Whatever, Ann (r). You helped build this.
