Tell us all your twelce years old, without telling us your age.

Some of the responses:

Of CoUrSe YoU aRe ThIs PaThEtIkKk
[….]

So instead of commenting on the bill’s content, indicating areas you believe have issues, and offering critiques of specific texts, we get Spongebob Squarepants typing from you.

How is this supposed to convince us you are Senate material Eric? [….]

So you’re showing what how an adult should not act who’s running for the Senate? Well, good job.

Otherwise, you’re post is that of an eight year old who needs to be scolded. Hopefully @buschvalentine is taking notes of examples of your poor behavior to use in her advertising.

As a “leader”, how are we supposed to take you seriously when you write like that? What is this even supposed to mean?

I guess Eric figures if he becomes a Senator he can buy safety for a couple generations of Schmitts before the mass extinction event.

To be fair, he’s not that forward thinking.

Look around, Eric. Record heat, drought, predictions for continued extreme weather. Yes, we should do something about it, and help the economy along the way.

Look people! @Eric_Schmitt doesn’t know how to use the caps key. He is still in 8th grade

Climate change is completely real Eric. Scientists have been saying it for years. We approaching the point where it will be too late. What will you tell your grandchildren? “Sorry about fucking the planet, I just needed more money.”

Good grief. You are the AG of the state of MO. You are asking us to make you a Senator of the United States. Tweets like this are beneath the dignity of either office and you should be ashamed of yourself. Being a public servant is SERIOUS. Start acting like you understand that.

And mocking the urgency of the very real and now very obvious climate crisis just makes you a horrible human being.

Ahh, the classic Lincoln Douglas debate tactic of silly capitalizations….

So, you’re anti legislation that helps Americans and you’re anti science. Typical look for a Missouri magat politician. Dumb.

So you think historic drought for Missouri Farmers is funny?

Cunt.

If the roles were reversed in this race and it was the Dem with the contrast/storyline there’d be endless artwork, documentaries, etc…

A whine connoisseur. Go figure. As if Leni Riefenstahl was available?

There is much hilarity in the responses:

They make documentaries about people who are inspiring. There’s nothing inspiring about an attorney general who repeatedly files frivolous lawsuits against already-cash-strapped school districts.

He even had a title in mind – Triumph des Willens.

Yeah! Why isn’t Hollywood doing the story about a man from humble beginnings, who rose to power, ready to take on the challenge of removing rights from marginalized communities, subverting election results, and protecting wealthy special interest groups… a real hero

I said it before and I will say it again, I have no problem with your upbringing. I am proud of where you came from. Your positions now, your hatred and bigotry are problems for me. Your policies are trash and deserve to be in a circular file.

Awww. Whining isn’t cute.

Schmitty, you have been worthless as AG; there isnevery reason to believe you would be even more worthless in the Senate. Perhaps giving tours is your untimate job advancement.

Careful, your misogyny and stereotypes are showing

But what have you done for the State of MO in your current job? How much money have you wasted on frivolous lawsuits that we are all paying for?

Better photos. Eric Schmitt (r) left “better photos” off his whine list. Trudy Busch Valentine (D) has better photos.

“Make America Great Again” – in Russian.

Whenever we get a traffic spike the right wingnut trolls come out. They attempt to post comments, usually with misspellings and inadequate grammar. It’s like the punchline to the old joke – “You can always tell a New Yorker by the cut of their clothes.”

As usual, we don’t allowing ignorant comments out of moderation to be linked with an original post, but we will present them in subsequent posts for the purpose of public derision and mockery. As we see fit. We see fit.

And so, another crop:

How bout NO…another trash can demorat!

Like you’re convincing anyone around these here parts?

Will not vote for any democrat under the current conditions of our country.

As if you’ve ever voted for a Democrat?

It’s definitely a cult.

When someone posts a comment here their email and IP addresses are part of the record.

Trudy Busch Valentine (D) is the Democratic Party nominee for the open U.S. Senate seat in Missouri.

Trudy Busch Valentine (D).

Jackson County Democrats held a canvassing event for legislative district candidates and the party ticket starting at 10:00 a.m. at their headquarters in Lee’s Summit today. A large number of volunteers showed up, first to hear candidates speak, including Trudy Busch Valentine (D), then to embark on door-to-door canvassing.

Before the event started Valentine took time to greet and briefly speak with everyone in the room.

She then spoke to the canvassing volunteers:

Valentine then went door-to-door in a nearby neighborhood:

We had a pleasant, brief, conversation as she walked between houses. Trudy Busch Valentine is down-to-earth, centered, kind, empathetic, and sharp as a tack, without appearing frantic. The contrast with Eric Schmitt (r) is jarring.

She’s going to be just fine.
