A troll took “offense” at beer.

She is proud to be part of a family that produces a drink that causes more heartbreak than anything besides drugs. I will not vote for her. This article shows how proud she is of the production of alcohol!

You were never going to vote for her.

Uh, so you’re not going to vote for Eric Schmitt (r), right? He posted yesterday about drinking beer rather than a warm non-alcohol Autumn beverage. Then there’s Brett Kavanaugh (r), you know, the guy who stated under oath before the U.S. Senate that he likes beer. Where are you on his lifetime appointment?

So, you’re not going to vote at all because of all the beer inundating the world.

Dumbass.

Pro-choice demonstration – Sedalia, Missouri – June 30, 2022

A post on yesterday’s pro-choice demonstration in Sedalia, Missouri went viral. Of course, that attractes right wingnuts who attempt to assert their perceived intellectual dominance:

What idiots. They sound retarded it’s not about it’s about the millions of babies they are murdering each day. Ban viagra that’s ok because it still won’t stop God from planting the seed of life ( a baby) in a woman’s uterus. Sure some pregnancies are horrendous in the way they happened but don’t give the baby the death penalty give the rapist instead

Uh, where to start?

“…They sound retarded…” As, say, opposed to illiterate and ignorant? What’s our troll’s excuse?

“…it’s about the millions of babies they are murdering each day…” However you count it – sperm, zygote, fetus, actual baby – that’s a lot at an annual rate. Our troll also appears to have issues with math literacy. That’s not a surprise.

“…it still won’t stop God from planting the seed of life ( a baby) in a woman’s uterus…” Ah, magic. That explains a lot, just not what our troll thinks it does.

They’re so insecure. Why show up here if they believe that they’ve got what they’ve always wanted?

The previous article that this one refers to most definitely contained your biased opinion.
“at risk for exposure to Covid-19 or that my IQ probably dropped forty points after listening to their tiresome luddite anti-science drivel.” Your words… biased opinion not fact.

Read this slowly, so you may understand it. Sound out the words if that helps.

Is this your first rodeo?

You, and everyone else in the room, attended a public meeting concerning public business. You chose to be there. There is no reasonable presumption that your presence, by image, and, if you spoke, your words wouldn’t appear in a public account or news report of the public meeting. No permission is required. The meeting was publicly streamed live by the public entity. As a public record I’m assuming that the livestream was archived and, if so, would be available to anyone by request from the entity conducting the public meeting under RSMo § 610.

Do some real research. We’ll wait.

The images in the article are about as objective as anything can get. The audio in the article is about as objective as anything can get. Is it your assertion that the individuals in the images and/or who are in the audio didn’t participate in the public meeting?

The final paragraph is biased? That’s your opinion.

Really. This is too easy.

As always, we’re not allowing ignorant comments like these out of moderation to be linked with the original post, but we will present some of them in subsequent posts for the purpose of public derision and mockery. As we see fit.

We get another comment:

This article is completely laughable and highly biased. The author is obviously incapable of accepting proven research that differs from his opinion.

The post is a first hand source. That is, we were there. We took photos. We published the photos. We recorded audio. We posted the audio. There is no bias in those elements. There is no opinion in those elements. We agree that the public comments were completely laughable. We stated:

…“they” showed up to complain about masks and vaccines, spouting misinformation which would be laughable if it weren’t so dangerous to others…

What “proven” research? Cite it. Explain how that works. We’ll wait.

In a later post:

Whining about a local school district “making” school children wear masks, while being lax in their enforcement, while being too strict in their enforcement, and possibly making students follow established policy.

Masks designated for biological use don’t work for paint (uh, wrong type), therefore they won’t work for their intended purpose.

Wearing a mask will cause you to breathe excessive amounts of carbon dioxide, never mind that highly skilled surgeons and medical personnel wear masks for hours. Seriously, would anyone want their medical team to do otherwise?

How many individuals in Johnson County have been fully vaccinated? Definitely more than thirty anti-science luddites. [….]

We’re getting a massive traffic spike from this, posted yesterday morning:

This morning in Springfield, Missouri (July 11, 2021)

A hospital administrator [for Cox Health] in Springfield, Missouri enumerated, via social media, the severity of the increase of admissions due to the COVID-19 surge. The math isn’t good.

Another comment appeared with that post. Trolling. We’re not allowing these out of moderation to be linked with the original post, but are reproducing them on meta posts here, as we see fit:

What percentage of Cox employees are vaccinated against COVID?

And?

More relevant questions:

How many Cox employees continued to show up to care for SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 patients before there were available vaccines?

How many Cox employees contracted SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 while caring for any un-vaccinated patients?

How many Cox employees died from SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 after caring for SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 patients?

Show some empathy and respect. But, this, of course, is Missouri.

This is what we face as a state and nation, and why we can’t have nice things.

Here we are.

Get vaccinated.

Wear a damn mask.

We’re getting a massive traffic spike from this, posted this morning:

This morning in Springfield, Missouri (July 11, 2021)

A hospital administrator in Springfield, Missouri enumerated, via social media, the severity of the increase of admissions due to the COVID-19 surge. The math isn’t good.

Invariably when a traffic spike like this occurs we get comments, some from right wingnut trolls. If you’ve ever been around here before you’d notice we don’t get a lot of comments. That’s mostly because we’re normally only read by dozens of people. So many that even international spammers don’t bother us with investment solicitations or prescription advice anymore. Sadly, when we get a massive traffic spike it predicts the return of those spammers. Not to worry too much. Our system filters those out for the most part.

We also had the foresight to set our comment default to “moderation” when we moved to this platform. This means that a comment doesn’t get posted unless we approve it. Generally, we approve relevant comments. We save all the violence and death threats, but don’t publish them (really, there haven’t been that many). By the way, when you post a comment we also get your email and IP addresses.

This afternoon we received a trolling comment, held in moderation. We’re not going to allow it go up with the post, but it is such a perfect example of right wingnut talking points and willful ignorance that we’re presenting it here. This is what we face as a state and nation, and why we can’t have nice things:

Your people are in denial to be honest with you they don’t have a testing process that is full proof we have more false positives than anything besides let’s talk about what incentive the medical community has to follow the push of the government they get paid extra if they flag it person as covid positive. This is gotten out of control and to be honest with you the taxpayers are tired of the medical community only being concerned with money in their pocket this is all bullshit

So, here we are.

Get vaccinated.
