No time or effort put into an open public town hall in the 4th Congressional District?
As always, the responses are hilarious:
You had years to do something about it and you just made it worse.
They’re doing their jobs. Where are you? At the border? Why is the MO rep dicking about at the border with Mexico and not here, dealing with REAL problems?
Not doing pointless photo ops that solve nothing?
1/6/2021. We remember.
Joe and Kamala are taking care of business not going stunts for photo ops yoy hypocrite.
Are they, were they? Can you show us the republicans immigration and security package they proposed and laid forth a sweeping overhaul of the system and fixed a problem that even Reagan called a crisis 50 yrs ago? Or is that a bill that was to come after their healthcare reform?
You think doing photo ops for your pretend “crisis” is solving anything?
Kansas City isn’t in the 4th Congressional District.
Pearl clutching. No surprise.
Rep. Vicky Hartzler @RepHartzler
Kansas City should be investing in the law enforcement officers who protect our communities — not disgracefully defunding them. #BackTheBlue

Maybe hold an open public town hall in Kansas City to discuss this?
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas:

Mayor Q @QuintonLucasKC
The amount of the city budget going to the Kansas City Police Department yesterday was $238 million. The amount today going to KCPD, post ordinances, is $241 million, including funding for a new recruiting class. Just more accountability with more investment. 12:13 PM · May 21, 2021

Some of the responses to Representative Vicky Hartzler (r):
Cass County is lovely this time of year…
It’s been overcast and rainy in Johnson County. You think she knows?
Not your district.
Worry about #MO04.
Stay in your lane, which is #sedition.
It’s what you do best.
Defunding the police is a GOP phrase
They want, “putting the money where it’s needed” to look bad.
They don’t care how people suffer
You’re full of shit. How do people not see that you’re so full of shit? Blessed to not have you as my Rep. Praying for your constituents.
Save your lying breath, traitor.
We already know how the 2021 GOP ‘backs the blue’:
Have you moved to Kansas City? Do you think cities should control their police department?
So you claim to #BackTheBlue yet you voted against forming a commission to investigate the Jan 6 insurrection? Okay.
Looking forward to reading your definition of Marxism and Critical Race Theory.
By the way, what should Missourians know about how Missouri entered the Union? What would you teach students?
Well, you are HALF right, Marxism has no place in our Armed Forces. Critical Race Theory is NOT a Marxist idea, however. It DOES belong, not only in our Armed Forces, but in our Congress and schools, from the ground up.
A weird cult devoted to the guy from Celebrity Apprentice has no place in our government.
Yet here Vicky is…
Ok, you don’t like Critical Race Theory. Work with Black educators to come up with a way to teach students American History that hasn’t been whitewashed.
Marxism seems to be the GOP buzzword du jour.
Christianity has no place in the American government but yet here you are
how exactly does this impact rural Missouri?
Apparently , crazy may be ok with you, but not for them
I mean, you have no place in politics, but here you are
Your Tweets are so pitiful and ignorant it isn’t even any fun ridiculing them anymore.
“…We share our wisdom with those who seek it. It’s a life of quiet dignity…”
People who fall for the “Marxist, Antifa DemoncRATS” fearmongering are too gullible to serve in any military, corporate, political or social role without their gullibility bringing severe weaknesses to their organization and shame to it’s reputation.
Grow Up or Get Out.
Conservative whiner culture has no place in our armed forces.
Holy crap, Vickster.
The military should have no comment on politics!
Kinda f*cked up, considering you were earlier “thanking” the military.
Typical propaganda from the #SeditiousGOP
What is the matter with you??? Why are you spreading crap?
So you are against diversity, inclusion and equity in the military? And you believe, without fact or reason that critical race theory is rooted in Marxism? My heavens.
Did you know that fluoridation is a Communist plot?
“…In order to address workforce shortages across the state, Governor Mike Parson today directed the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DOLIR) to notify the U.S. Department of Labor that Missouri will end participation in all federal pandemic-related unemployment insurance programs effective Saturday, June 12 at 11:59 p.m….” – May 11, 2021
….The FPUC program provides that those eligible for at least one dollar of unemployment compensation benefits during the week will receive an additional $300 per week as a federal supplement. Claimants do not need to take any additional action to receive this supplemental payment….
For those interested in doing the math, after removing the federal supplemental unemployment benefit, the maximum benefit from the state is the equivalent of $8.00 an hour for a 40 hour week. The minimum living wage for a single adult in Missouri has been calculated at around $13.72 an hour. Poverty wages are at around $6.13 an hour. Add children, day care, transportation, etc. and you get a very different number.
“Qu’ils mangent de la brioche.”
This morning, from Vicky Hartzler (r):
Rep. Vicky Hartzler @RepHartzler
Missouri is ready to take off and boom economically but can’t due to labor shortages and misguided priorities from the leadership in DC.
I applaud @GovParsonMO’s decision in taking the necessary steps to turn our state’s “Help Wanted” signs into proudly “Open for Business.”
[….] 8:24 AM · May 12, 2021
It’s all about the cruelty.
Some of the responses:
Missouri does not have the infrastructure to “boom economically”. Two decades of GOP control of the state legislature has made sure of that.
If $300/wk is causing a job shortage, then those jobs are paying poverty wages. If a job can’t compete with the dole, the job isn’t worth it.
Thank goodness the voters approved the minimum wage increase, right?
yep. those people bringing home a maximum of *$620* a week are really gaming the system.
Wow. Can you imagine hating people that voted you into office this much?
Would either of you work for tips? There is no supplemental PPP included in them. Schedule an actual town hall and talk to those constituents. Do your job for once.

Rep. Vicky Hartzler @RepHartzler
Hiking taxes to pay for President Biden’s massive wish list spending is the last thing American families and small businesses need.
And, as usual, there is much hilarity in the responses:
Tell us Rep. Hartzler: how much are your taxes going up? It will only raise taxes on couples who make more than $800,000. My taxes aren’t going up because I’m not that rich.
Everyone should know that Republicans like @RepHartzler called Social Security “socialism”, and Republicans like @RepHartzler called Medicare “Marxism”, all to protect their corrupt privilege, and out of dripping disdain for working men and women. [….]
Hartzler never looks at facts. She doesn’t believe in science , but she is great around the kitchen with that Home Economics degree.
I wish I had enough wealth to to pay higher taxes. What makes you so special to justify your resentment to helping America, Vicky?
Thank goodness then, that they are hiking taxes for the most wealthy Americans and the large corporations. It will help take the burden off the rest of American families and small businesses who could really use the help.
I was going to point out that this is another #HartzlerLieOfTheDay, but everyone else did an outstanding job. [….]
Yeah, that’s why you shouldn’t ever take farm subsidies. Oh wait…
Middle income and lower American families and small businesses will be the last to pay any new taxes, unlike BIG businesses and HIGH income families.
It’s corporate America’s punishment for not doing enough over the last 4 years. They were given the opportunity but chose to put personal interests ahead of community.
Wait didn’t you get farm subsidies so I guess the taxes he is proposing will affect you, right? Always looking out for your personal interests & those of your donors but not your working class constituents like me. Also quit lying. Anyway, I can’t wait to vote against you again.
But hiking taxes will not add to the deficit, and it is coming from the wealthy, not the middle class or small businesses. We need the cash.
Maybe instead of giving millions in tax breaks to the 1% & inflating our deficit $2 trillion we can start having the rich pay their fair share? The rich profit by using our tax funded roads, bridges, dams, internet but they pay very little in taxes bcz of the GQP tax deal.
SMALL businesses and most Americans won’t see tax hikes dummy
Direct. To the point.
hooray. his plan won’t raise taxes on moat American families and small businesses!
but… it would likely impact you, Vicky
Shouldn’t have given 2 trillion tax cut to the wealthy and we’d have that much more money to take care of the country
Hiking taxes on the wealthy to improve our communities is a good thing.
It’s *not* socialism, it’s returning tax rates to where they used to be, for corporations and for the rich.
It’s not on us as u well know. It’s on the same ones that u and your Republican gave a unnecessary tax cut to a few years ago.
TRICKLE DOWN has never worked for anyone other then the rich
Here’s a thought…. the wish list would not be so long and amount would not be so high if the elements he’s addressing were not neglected for so long. What I see is someone willing to get things done for the benefit of our country. Tweeting is not governing. Get to work.
You’d think so, but, no.
Middle class American families won’t be affected much, if at all and his policies are enjoying bipartisan popularity with folks.
Let’s give them a whirl, while you sit this one out.
Send back your stimulus checks..
.Socialism and social spending ARE NOT the SAME THING! Either the January 6th Party is just plain stupid or they purposely put out misinformation to confuse the electorate.
Bless your heart [….]
Hiking taxes on people who make over $400,000 a year isn’t a problem. Lying repugs who support insurrection is the problem. The only real question is what repugs are gonna do if enough of their base finally wakes up.
Jesus Christ. Your party has spent DECADES not doing anything and now our country is falling apart. Corporations — not “families or small businesses” — will once again be paying their fair share, and we can a) start fixing things and then b) start building new things
Try doing something productive with your time as my representative, like making my life and my family’s life and my friends’ lives better, instead of just banging the drum against non-existent “socialism”.
How much percentage of American families earn $400,000k a year?
Is that why you cut taxes for the rich? Why weren’t American families your concern then?
You’re an American Nightmare.
We’re tired of living in your Republican shitsscape evangelical caliphate. Kick rocks.
Are you new? Or just stupid?
You were perfectly okay with higher taxes on the middle class when Trump did it. Now you’re butthurt because Biden wants the 1% to pay their fair share.
Stop gaslighting your constituents and get some damn morals. The rich should be taxed far more.
Hiking taxes on ***the upper class & big corps*** is exactly what american families need. Not even the upper-middle class. Just the folks who donate big $$$ to people like you to push big BS like this. They’re the only ones who aren’t contributing their fair share.
So all your constituents returned
their socialist stimulus checks?
and are opting out of Social Security?
What a bunch of hypocrites.
1) individuals’ taxes will not go up under Biden’s plan except for those portions of taxable income over $400,000/year.
2) Biden’s plan is not socialism.
Oh please, stop pedaling your lies. Corporations haven’t done a damn thing for anyone since Obama AND Trump reduced the tax rate. You make me sick! Do you realize how many poor folk live in your district, lol
Oh please. We all heard president Biden say the tax rates with be raised for people making over 400k. That represents a small percentage of American. 55 large corporations paid ZERO federal taxes last year. Most Americans don’t pay ZERO in federal taxes
Stop your bullshit
Raising taxes on corporations and supper rich will have no effect on working class . It’s what Americans deserve . No more trickle down economics by the GOPQ.
This isn’t socialism. My god, do they not sell dictionaries to conservative idiots?
You’re a moron. If you don’t believe in government, then get out of it.
The Vice President is living rent free inside Vicky Hartzler’s (r) head. Today:
Rep. Vicky Hartzler @RepHartzler
Is Vice President Kamala Harris now more likely to go to the border or space first?
[….] 12:49 PM · May 4, 2021
Someone never got out of junior high school, either. It’s the mean lunch table.
As usual, the responses are hilarious:
I imagine both will happen before you admit lying about the VP and her book.
We should explore the space between your ears.
#Seditionist sez, “What?”
Is @RepHartzler more likely to defend the Constitution or a father who objectifies his own daughter?
I’d say both are more likely than you holding a open town hall meeting
Seems to be living in that head of yours
We noticed that, too.
What are the gop primary policy goals right now? Your last several tweets are about the border. Even if you perceive it as a problem, you have to admit you failed to offer any solutions when your party held power. Do you have nothing to offer for Missourians?
Juuuuuust going to guess you are misrepresenting the situation like all good seditionists do.
We remember 1/6 Rep. Hartzler. You incited an attempted violent overthrow of an election.
I would take this more seriously if it weren’t from an anti-American seditionist.
And what would you call your vote to overturn a free and fair election???
I’ll give you a hint:
Where were you on January 6th? #NeverForget
There was that pizza party in the SCIF, too.
Coming from a insurrectionist that’s just humorous
Pot, meet Kettle.
You are conveniently forgetting your part in the attempted violent overthrowing of the US Government.
The Republican Party
Seditionist says what? Point out where exactly that Maxine called for any violence. She simply called for the people of Minnesota to continue to hold police forces accountable for white cops killing unarmed black people. You are a disgrace to our state.
Rep. Vicky Hartzler @RepHartzler
These hikes could end up targeting nearly one million small businesses and their workers, who will see their paychecks dwindle after years of wage growth thanks to the previous administration. 4:35 PM · Apr 7, 2021
As always, there was hilarity in the responses:
And what is Vicky’s plan for when those same small businesses can’t get any customers because all of our roads and bridges are too far gone to drive on?
You need to see your paycheck cancelled, not dwindled
Where was this concern for small businesses when you were cashing their ppe loan checks??? #Hypocrite
Hey, Home Economics teacher if these small businesses make more money because of Biden’s package which they most likely will no wages get cut but they increase.
Also how can you get on your Soapbox and brag about Trumps wage growth when you lost 3 MILLION JOBS the last 4 years
The only thing we witnessed under the previous administration was another GOP led economic collapse–
Job growth/loss by administration–
Trump = -2,876,000 LOSS
Obama = 11,572,000 GAIN
Bush II = 1,357,000 GAIN
Clinton = 22,994,000 GAIN
Bush I = 2,633,000 GAIN
Dem (16 years) = 34.5 MILLION
Rep (16 years) = 1.1 MILLION
And your continuing lies a deception never falters! You just keep pandering to your donors.
And some of the responses to Representative Hartzler’s (r) previous Tweet:
Why don’t you suggest something better then, Vicky? What’s your grand plan for actually improving things?
Once again you are twisting the facts/misrepresenting the situation. I wish you were more honest in presenting facts to your constituents.
Help or get the hell out of the way
Years of wage growth? What a bunch of lies. My tax rate is 28%. If I have to pay 28% in fed income tax, so should everyone else. Hopefully, the Democrats will get rid of all the loopholes that corporations big & small get so that they pay $0 in taxes. Like my MO employer.
I am for it. Take back that tax break u and the idiot trump gave to the richest 1 percenters and help take care of the middle class
Do you have any idea how much Missouri taxpayers who own small businesses actually pay, @RepHartzler? Because I do. It’s time you paid your fair share.
Reminder: Corporate tax rates were 35% just a few years ago.
