Its interesting that the pockets of actual PEOPLE (not land) are blue….almost like the majority of America didn’t vote for that.

Interesting, there are THREE pocket of blue and yet republicans are demanding to take away one of only two democratic house seats
The presidential election split 59% republican, 40% democrat, and 1% other. Yet republicans have gerrymandered districts to claim 7 out of 8 seats.
I hope all three of these gerrymandered seats go blue. Not because I support the Democrats necessarily, but because these out of control republicans should be taught a lesson about democracy.

The President’s stand on illegal immigration during his campaign was deport the “worst of the worst”, the criminals. That is not what you are advocating here and not what the President has done. The tide has turned on the popularity of the immigration issue due to the lack of due process and violence used by ICE. You should probably rethink your cold-hearted stance on it.

Every day I read a story about someone who has been detained who shouldn’t have been. Today it was an engineer from South America who was working in Portland and was legal. His car window was smashed in, he was dragged onto the street, shipped to the east coast and put in detention. He was released into the street days later with no phone and no way to get back. Until this BS stops, people are going to protest against ICE. The system needs to be fixed because it is broken. Brutalizing a vulnerable community is NOT a solution.

We love seeing our leading politicians be either so stupid or ignorant that they cant grasp that concept. They just look at a map with lots of pretty red squares and go “LOOK. MURICA ALL RED WE’RE ACTUALLY OPPRESSED”. Lordy lord…
