One would probably understand the meaning of “oxymoron'”

Today at the Missouri Ethics Commission:

Something, something, charter school, something, K-12, something.

The clip of Hawley sprinting away from the Capitol rioters, showing great speed, is so damning. Earlier he’d famously raised his fist in support of them.

Some of the responses:

There’s a line with more people at the chipotle dude lol

I’ve seen bigger crowds at the Country Kitchen after the bars closed

Yeah, but that’s during the school year. Students won’t be back in time for the primary. As if they bothered to vote anyway.

Chick Fil A has a longer line 12 hours a day than this

The rest of the ALL IN people must be ALL OUT of the room

The best part I left out: One of the old white guys who needed to kick her out to preserve his freedom told her that we needed our guns for when the founders “SHOT KING GEORGE” that is a DIRECT quote

Sounds like a case of Good Trouble

I live in her district too. It really concerns me just how much Rs want everyone to live in their echo chamber. Not a good thing at all, but sadly not surprising.

As we all know, Vile Vicky is a triggered easily snowflake. She hasn’t met with any Columbia constituents in years.

Not surprised @Adam_Sommer85. Vicky isn’t big on constituents that aren’t lock step in line with her. It’s why she never held any type of open forum or town hall. She doesn’t want any of our questions or push back. She’s a coward.

I’m a constituent too and I HAVE QUESTIONS

I thought she had it for a long time – especially after Joshua’s endorsement. But sure looks like these folks are gonna roll the dice on Greitens. Really special stuff

Vicky Hartzler (r) [2021 file photo].

This was a campaign event. It was not a constituent event. Vicky Hartzler hasn’t held an open public town hall in the 4th Congressional District in years.

Some of the responses:

I’m sorry, when are you going to refund the more than $2,000,000 you’ve taken from taxpayers as subsidies for your multi-million dollar business?

Just confused as to why a multi-millionaire like you needs to pocket cash from your constituents.

Also you targeting Representative Bush in this way—offering her up to your white Christian nationalist fan base—only puts her life in more danger.

It’d be great if you cared more about people’s safety instead of salvaging your political career.

You’re a disgrace.

Nobody is defunding the police. Stop with the fearmongering. We simply want family support and mental health resources underwritten sufficiently so police aren’t needed because conflicts have grown to a crisis.

By backing the blue you certainly mean the capitol police and DC metro police on 1/6/21 correct?

Do kids in school deserve to be safe?

The police won’t be defunded. That is fearmongering. But it certainly stirs up the base, doesn’t it?

You know police don’t do security work, right? They have like…jobs n stuff.

What is preferred flag pole of MAGA to beat police with?

This one?:

“Россия” (Russia) – a variant of the Russian presidential flag.

Americans deserve to feel safe with their children going to school, shopping at the market and going about their daily lives.

Missouri has the 5th highest murder rate in the nation [….]

Vicky focuses on outrage topics and has done jack for her district. What makes Missourians think she’ll do anything for the state?
Dump Icky Vicky.

Why are you trying to end Social Security and Medicare? I can’t vote for someone who does this.

You are such a hypocrite. What about the money your family has taken in since you have become a member of congress?

This is the most pro-censorship, anti-First Amendment administration in American history. Hands down
9:46 AM · Jul 18, 2022

“The most dangerous place to stand in Washington D.C. is any place between Senator Josh Hawley and a live microphone” – Charles P. Pierce

Some of the responses:

You got your hands up for insurrectionists, bro! [….]

Ok, Senator Karen. Your post is 5 years late, but thanks for playing.

What, if anything, has Hawley done for Missouri?

Other than embarrassing us? Not a damn thing.

As you freely criticize it online

Shush he’d have to understand the first amendment to get the irony here.

Name 1 thing you’ve done for the state of Missouri that’s positive.. I will wait

He doesn’t actually live there?

Ur tweet took a long time to send. Trump isn’t President anymore.

But let’s ban books!

In other news, Josh Hawley announced his new initiative to force women to wear electronic locator collars. Said Hawley of the plan, “Like anything else in nature that we need to track, I believe American women should be tracked at all times so that we know that they are doing.”

How? Just…how…did anyone elect this person?

Seriously?

The @GOP is banning books, speech, reproductive rights, history

y’all are banning books

In what ways, Josh?

Absolutely no references or examples in this tweet.. hmmm.. I wonder why

January 6th

Oh honey

You still have the right to plead the Fifth.

No. That was the last dude, dude.

You’re on tv like every day

Let’s see…what states are banning books, rewriting history and controlling the topics of education? That would be the GOP-led states, sparky. Maybe sit this one out.

Again, projecting.

And you don’t live in Missouri

And yet I can still see your speaking.

How’s Virginia this time of year, Josh? [….]

Says the person tweeting and utilizing their first amendement. [….]

The last one called for the jailing of journalists simply doing their job, called them “the enemy of the people”, and was caught using the National intel agencies to spy on those critical of him. So…no. You’re just wrong.

Man whose party is currently banning books all across the country has thoughts on censorship and the First Amendment.

Haven’t you heard? Josh Hawley (r) believes he’s a “constitutional scholar”.

.. he freely whined on Twitter.
