Today:
Governor Mike Kehoe @GovMikeKehoe
Thank you, @POTUS.
Missouri’s conservative, common-sense values should be truly represented at all levels of government, and the Missouri First Map delivers just that.

Just asking.
From the announcement by Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe (r) for the Missouri General Assembly Special Session to cover Donald Trump’s (r) Fascist ass:
Johnson County and Warrensburg would be moved to the 5th Congressional District from the 4th Congressional District. To what purpose? Give republicans 7 “safe” of 8 Congressional Districts in the State of Missouri.
Kansas City would be split among three congressional districts:
That is the very definition of Gerrymander.

Congressman Cleaver’s Statement Condemning Special Session to Begin Mid-Decade Redistricting Without a New Census
August 29, 2025
Press Release(Kansas City, MO) – Today, U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) released the following statement after Governor Mike Kehoe announced a special session to redraw Missouri’s congressional map mid-decade, an unprecedented step taken at the direction of the president.
“I have had the privilege and distinct honor of serving the people of Missouri’s Fifth Congressional District. I have always understood one truth: this seat does not belong to me. It belongs to the people. And today, that truth is under assault.
“President Trump’s unprecedented directive to redraw our maps in the middle of the decade and without an updated census is not an act of democracy – it is an unconstitutional attack against it. This attempt to gerrymander Missouri will not simply change district lines, it will silence voices. It will deny representation. It will tell the people of Missouri that their lawmakers no longer wish to earn their vote, that elections are predetermined by the power brokers in Washington, and that politicians – not the people – will decide the outcome.
“Roughly 40% of Missourians cast their ballots for Democratic candidates last year, and they deserve representation in the People’s House just as much as our Republican neighbors. Yet, in attempting to dismantle the Fifth District, state lawmakers would be working to drown out Missouri voices in favor of a single man a thousand miles away. It is my sincere hope that they will not give in to this short-sighted and irresponsible demand.
“But let us be clear: Should this effort move forward, we will not concede.
“I will not surrender the voices of the people who entrusted me to fight for them. The people of the Fifth District and I will fight relentlessly to ensure Missouri never becomes an antidemocratic state, where politicians choose their voters instead of voters choosing their representatives. In the courts and at the ballot box, we will demand that the rule of law is upheld, our voices are heard, and democracy prevails.
“Our nation has endured wars, depressions, and great struggles for civil rights. And through it all, the principle that every vote counts has carried us forward. That principle is bigger than me, this seat, or any president looking to rig the rules for personal gain.
“This is the line we must not let them cross. This is the continuation of our unrelenting struggle for justice. I will fight with every ounce of strength I have to defend democracy – and practice prudence in the best interest of my constituents, Missouri, and the country we love.”

Governor Kehoe Signs Bold Tax Cuts and Pro-Business Legislation into Law
JULY 10, 2025Jefferson City — During a bill signing ceremony at the Missouri State Capitol, today Governor Mike Kehoe signed two major pieces of legislation—House Bills (HB) 567 and 594—delivering on his commitment to lower taxes and defend small businesses.
“Conservative leadership is about keeping more money in the hands of Missouri families, and less in government coffers,” said Governor Kehoe. “Today, we are protecting the people who make Missouri work—families, job creators, and small business owners—by cutting taxes, rolling back overreach, and eliminating costly mandates.”
HB 567, sponsored by Representative Sherri Gallick and Senator Mike Bernskoetter, modifies provisions relating to employee compensation.
Maintains the state’s minimum wage law at $15 per hour, repealing the annual Consumer Price Index adjustment, and extends the wage requirement to public employers as well as private.
Repeals onerous paid sick leave mandates on Missouri small businesses, including:
Requirements dictating when and how paid leave must be provided.
Burdensome record keeping and compliance obligations.

Congressman Mark Alford
[June 12, 2025] Governor Mike Kehoe is sending a strong message.
We support the first amendment right of every Missourian to peacefully demonstrate, but violence and riots will NOT be tolerated in the Show Me State.
[….]
There is much hilarity in the responses:
We have been protesting every 2 to weeks since Febuary. Why the need for the guard to be on standby now?
Will be in Warrensburg 1 pm at the Courthouse then headed to Clinton.
There’s that.
They are coming after American citizens, judges, senators and congressmen.
How many of you voted for this?
Too many.
No comments on a United States SENATOR being assaulted, thrown to the floor and handcuffed because he wanted to ask Sec. Noem a question?
Go sit in the back, Marky!!!
Sending a message that this is a police state and first amendment rights are a thing of the past.
We’ve had zero violence in Missouri in all our rallies, man.
If anything happens, it will be because the governor is escalating.
All protests plans are scheduled to be peaceful. Let the people speak. And let the locals handle any issues.
Following the 🍊🎪🤡 orders
Mark, why don’t you join us at the protest?
We have already had many protests and no problems at all.
Fear fuels this type of action
Personally, I wish Trump would declare martial law. This would bring an almost instantaneous end of the riding and looting in Los Angeles, Angeles and elsewhere.

The Headless Horseman Pursuing Ichabod Crane (1858), John Quidor (1801-1881), Smithsonian American Art Museum.
Don’t fall asleep in school, kids.
and where else have you seen riots? Missourians have been holding peaceful protests since March
Your family and your friends can see these posts. They can see how easily you mislead the public.
Yeah, all those Grannies holding signs are such a menace
You do not want to piss off a grandmother. Ever.
What a joke.
This is BOGUS. This is what is fondly termed as a Self Full filling Prophesy. Where no situation currently exist, YOU will introduce a condition that certainly will increase the tension and likelihood of non-peaceful activities.
The face of government intimidation and abuse of power.
The people are speaking, and you’re ignoring them.
Kehoe, like Abbot, are only spreading fuel and hoping for a spark.
Unfortunately, Republican Missouri reps are only there to rubber stamp the agenda. Rep. Alford, why do your posts uplift white males, but not anyone else? Is there not a person of color, a women, an LGBTQ person who has contributed anything of significance in our district?
Fascism. Fuck this.
Violence and riots are only tolerated when in support of your leader, right? This is a scare tactic to discourage people from showing up. Trump’s fragile ego can’t stand that protests against the regime may overshadow his expensive birthday parade.

Bad combover. Check. Too long red tie. Check. Orange spray tan. Check. Tiny hands. Check. Cluelessness. Check. Conviction. Check.
Grow some Mark or get out. Republicans like you are destroying our country !!
After pardoning J6 defendants? What a clown?
Sad day in Missouri. Fascism is coming.
Tyrants have been using the same tactic to ignore the rights and concerns of the people for centuries. MAGA struggles to grasp the lessons of history. [….]
What a pussy Kehoe is just like you Congressman Mark Alford to ready the National Guard to combat the 6 democrats in the fucking state.
Peaceful protests are being agitated by overzealous ICE agents with no identity. They took down Senator Alex Padilla in California because he wanted to ask questions of Kristi Noem while she spewed her hate and authoritarian rhetoric! A US SENATOR FOLKS . He muttered something and then he was immediately forced from the room by ICE agents as he told him he was a US SENATOR and they continued to throw him to the ground and he was handcuffed. Tell again how well things are going Mark?
You mean a fascist message
Unacceptable. Trump is going Police State. That is not freedom.
Libs get what they deserve
We rest our case.
The Hatch Act. Posse Comitatus Act. United States Constitution.
You are one ignorant fool. All to feel big in your lift boots. Yet you scamper away when questioned. Climb up on your stool, slide into an oversized pickup and flee like the Rat you are.
Here we go: the militarization and police surveillance state—just like North Korea and Russia. Crush dissent. End free speech. Shoot protesters. End the rule of law. Defy judges. Fill the concentration camps and enrich the private prison owners. Get criminal thugs to arrest political opponents. That’s where we are headed, folks. And Congressman Mark Alford is all in.

Today, in response to Gov. Mike Kehoe’s (r) executive order activating the Missouri National Guard:
Missouri House Democratic Caucus
[June 12, 2025]‘BLATANT ATTEMPT TO INTIMIDATE’ | House Minority Leader Ashley Aune released a statement on behalf of the Missouri House Democratic Caucus in response to the completely unwarranted state of emergency declaration by Gov. Mike Kehoe.
LET’S BE CLEAR: This is nothing more than an attempt to intimidate and suppress peaceful protest of the federal administration that’s descending into authoritarianism at an alarming pace.
These protests are in response to the very obvious and unabashed transfer of wealth and power to the nation’s billionaire class at the expense of working Americans, regardless of their political affiliation.
“Governor Kehoe should staunchly defend the rights of Missourians, not mimic the authoritarianism of the president,” Aune said.
‘Governor Kehoe’s preemptive declaration of a state of emergency as Missourians prepare to protest an increasingly authoritarian presidential administration is a blatant attempt to intimidate and suppress First Amendment rights.
The protests planned this weekend across Missouri and throughout the nation were sparked by the president’s unwarranted and heavy-handed military responseto opposition to his policies. By doing the same, the governor will only heighten tensions and increase the possibility of conflict.
Governor Kehoe should staunchly defend the rights of Missourians, not mmic the authoritarianism of the president.’
