Today, at the U.S. Supreme Court:

Anti-mifepristone argument too dumb for even Trump nominees to stomach

Where the law is determinate, judges will ignore it only when they have very strong policy preferences and the arrogance to believe they trump everything. In the mifepristone case, it looks like only Alito and perhaps Thomas will fall into this category…

[….]

…If your argument that an approved drug is so dangerous that the judiciary should usurp the FDA and revoke the approval cannot find a single person adversely affected by the drug to bring the suit, I believe the term for this is “self-refutation…”

[….]

A Washington power couple, just like Liddy and Bob Dole (r), but with Fascism!

Democratic Prty, Johnson County, Knob Noster, missouri, presidential preference primary

The Missouri Democratic Party held the in-person portion of their presidential preference primary from 8:00 a.m. to noon today at polling locations across the state. In Johnson County the polling place was in the community meeting room at the Knob Noster Library:

Checking the voter file.

Voters signing in.

Outside, in the cold, a small group of anti-choice demonstrators advocated for state control of women’s health care decisions:

Anti-choice illogic.

Think about that “return to dangerous back-alley abortions” for just a brief second. These people are ahistorical idiots.

Josh Hawley [….]
March 20 at 5:32 PM·
Officially filed my papers yesterday to ask the people of Missouri for the chance to represent them again in the Senate. The way I see it is, it’s time to rebuild this nation.
[….]

Some of the responses:

Insurrectionist.

If they are smart they will get you out of there. You don’t represent them, you represent trump & the violent right wing crazies.

Democrats already took care of it. You can cut the ribbon and claim you SECURED the infrastructure improvements, but voted against it.

What came to mind is “ 🎶Do you know the way to San Jose.” Substitute Jeff City

You don’t live here! Apply in Virginia where your family lives full time.

Did you run your application in?

Driving in from your home in Virginia.

“Hawley doesn’t even live here”

Too afraid to tell them you’re “running” again? Lol.

He’s a runner!!!

Where do you live Joshie?

Don’t take credit for Biden’s infrastructure bill there Josh

Shame you don’t actually live in the state you represent.

What have you accomplished in your term. Besides running away from the very insurectionists you egged on. Liar, fraud & worthless.

So you still remember how to get to Missouri? Oh yeah! You’ve been here shilling for money, too. Otherwise, you have forgotten that MY tax dollars support you and you supposedly represent me. You’re a traitor on so many levels. I can’t wait until you have to find a real job.

You haven’t represented us … you’ve represented yourself … a complete worthless horrible person and a laughingstock as Senator and was a lousy AG

Traitor

RUN COWARD! RUN!

Run Josh!!! Run!!!

He does know how to run.
