Today at the Missouri Ethics Commission:

C242989 07/27/2024 Missouri First Conservative PAC DACA Partners III LP 2 Huntleigh Woods St Louis MO 63131 7/26/2024 $300,000.00

[emphasis added]

That’s a lot of money.

It’s a new PAC:

In their July 27, 2024 “Twenty-four Hour Expenditure Report”:

A new PAC takes out a $300,000.00 loan (with interest!) to fund direct mail against two of the six right wingnut republican Lieutenant Governor candidates. Go figure.

Holly Rehder (r) [2013 file photo].

You think Holly Rehder (r) is insulted about the penny difference? Just asking.

Today at the Missouri Ethics Commission for one of the six republicans running for Lieutenant Governor:

C242714 07/15/2024 Wasinger For Missouri David Wasinger 1401 S Brentwood Blvd Ste 875 St Louis MO 63144 Wasinger Daming LC Attorney 7/15/2024 $1,000,000.00

[emphasis added]

That’s $2,600,000.00 since February. It’ll be interesting to see how that works out per vote in the primary.

Dave Wasinger is the only America First conservative running for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri. As Lieutenant Governor, Dave will take a hammer to the Jefferson City establishment and the career do-nothing politicians and deliver a conservative agenda and real opportunities for the next generation of Missourians.

A lifelong Missourian, Dave was born and raised in Hannibal, the small town where Mark Twain lived as a boy and was inspired to write of the enduring Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. In Hannibal, Dave and his siblings were raised by hard-working parents, who instilled small town conservative values of Christian faith in God, respect for law enforcement, honor for our veterans, protecting the unborn, love of family, and the value of hard work in Dave.

[….]

How nice. The same as everyone else running in the primary.

From the campaign site:

Bad combover. Check. Too long red tie. Check. Orange spray tan. Check. Tiny hands. Check. Cluelessness. Check. Arraignment. Check.

Sure.

At this point wouldn’t “Candidate for David Wasinger” be more accurate? Just asking.
