Trump: “I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You know, you go into major hospitals sometimes and they’ll have two ventilators. Now all of a sudden they’re saying, ‘Can we order 30,000 ventilators?'”

They need the ventilators because the very large and exponentially increasing number of patients with the most severe cases of COVID-19 need them to stay alive.

Fucking idiot.

"Fair" Tax Idiocy

Adding to what .Sean says here,  there’s no reason to think that instituting a flat tax would do away with the IRS, either. In fact, you’d likely have a more invasive tax agency inspecting every small business in America to make sure they are properly collecting sales tax and passing it on.

Just remember, the so-called “Fair Tax” is only “fair” if you’re rich. If you’re not, it will raise your taxes.
