Subject: Public School Breaking Rules

Hello,
I would like to report local schools for not allowing children to attend when they are healthy. They let kids with outrageous behavior issues be in class. How is a child with a runny nose a threat?
All kids are going to get colds it just isn’t possible to avoid.
Then they want a drs. not for them after they display symptoms! If this virus is so bad why would I take my healthy kid to a place crawling with infected snowflakes. I’m not going to force my child to take a fake test with fake results purely to prove that they are good enough to sit in a school more concerned with learning than with having freedom!
If I give my kid allergy eyedrops, cough drops to help an itchy throat, lower temp with Tylenol and give them tissues to take with them the should be allowed in the class!
Let them be kids. Enjoy hugging friends again! Sharing snacks should not be against the law. How will kids ever find a way to be nice decent adults if they aren’t allowed to share or interact with friends?!
They allow blind kids in. I know they can t fix being blind but they let them carry pointy sticks all day! What if that hit my kid?! No one at the school takes real danger into account! They don’t even make them prove they are really blind! Somehow other kids are forced to prove they are germ free at all times?!

We’re not making this up. The author is either a brilliant satirist or the dumbest human being on the planet.

Subject: Rockwood Summit High School

Received a call today from the school nurse telling me that my 12th grader has been exposed to a positive child at lunch. Asking for her vaccine status so they can decide how to impose her quarantine measures. We asked for proof that she was in contact with this person for more than 15 mins at close range via the security cameras. They denied that. They still have not reached out to my student about this, only me via a call.

So, the problem is that you were…notified? Help us all out here.

Hello, just want to let you know that Missouri has some great teachers, administrators, and school personnel. You should be advocating for higher pay for these individuals.

Subject: NOC SCHOOL STILL DOING MASKS UNTIL BREAK/smut or queer books in their library

I spoke to the school and discussed the court case, etc. I hope that you are able to force this school who has questionable books (2) that parents can opt out of (most parents not familiar with school board meetings) by contacting the school. [….] wasn’t familiar with what the two books were (I enquired about the books that show the same sex having sex in cartoons), but stated the school board meeting is on the website that references the books. How is this not pornography?! How good are you Eric?! So far I’m impressed.
[….]

Not exactly sure where this one is going.

Subject: Kansas City Private Schools!

Hello, Mr. Schmitt,

Thank you so much for fighting for our kids and these mask mandates. I am writing concerning two private schools in Kansas City. While I realize these are private institutions, I am hoping for some assistance. I’ve also researched and noted that both educational institutions have received Covid funding.

1. Our daughter attends Notre Dame de Sion High School. The following protocols are still in place:
A. Masks: Their masking protocol is the vaccinated are mask-optional (with proof of vax), while the unvaccinated are still required to wear a mask.
B. If exposed to a positive case, unvaccinated individually will quarantine, as per Sion protocols. Vaccinated individuals will be asked to mask for 14 days after exposure.
Meanwhile, many private schools within Jackson County are mask-free: Rockurst High School, St. Teresa’s High School, Summit Christian Academy, and St. Michael’s Academy. There is little or no transparency about who is actually part of Sion’s ‘Covid Committee.’ It is my understanding there are not any tuition-paying parents on this board. When asked to attend these meetings and express concern, parents have been turned away.

2. Our son attends Avila University. The last update is from November 2021, as stated on their school website. “Masks are still required for everyone inside a campus building regardless of vaccination status If you are not vaccinated, we strongly encourage you to get vaccinated and continue wearing a mask inside campus buildings.”
Our son has been belittled by professors for not wearing his mask properly. Another professor told him he needed a ‘CDC approved mask’ in front of the entire class. By law, these students are considered ‘adults’ but being treated like children by faculty. As an adult, he would like the freedom to breathe air, communicate with classroom peers and participate in collegiate athletics (weight room, specifically) without having to wear a mask. The administration is failing to realize these college students are together off-campus mask-less. (For instance, the athletes work parking at the home Chiefs games and are not required to wear a mask while being together all day.)

Thank you so much for fighting for freedom for our kids. We are extremely grateful for you and your efforts in blocking this tyranny. Keep up the good work!
[….]

It’s a mask, not a gag ball.

Wow, just wow. Having somewhat respectable writing skills and yet, still, going through life as a stone cold idiot must be an immense burden.

Subject: Proud Parent Concerns

Dear Atty Gen Ofc:

Parent of a child in St, Louis County Afton School District. I am concerned that the Attorney General of Missouri has decided to deputize parents to whine about masks in schools. If the republicans are looking for smaller government intervention, then we need to allow the districts to make their own voted board decisions on the topic and most of them have already voted to have mask mandates and protocols in the safety of the community of children, staff and teachers as a matter of fact… The court in this case, did not prohibit elected school boards, county commissions, or city councils from enacting rules to stop the spread of infectious diseases.

STOP PROSECUTING MASKS. They are masks. As a representative of the public ineterst, I implore you to review if this push is in response to public safety or personal liberty. Because if it is personal liberty, you are in the wrong, public safety should always come first. Pit our children first for once.

Sincerly,
Proud parent [….]

Okay.

[….]
Subject: Mask mandate

Sir,

My high school son struggled mightily with online learning last year; his grades tanked, all his goals for the school year dashed, and he became very depressed and isolated.
The assurance that our district mandates masksin our schools made it possible for him to return to school and meet all of his goals while feeling safer in the classroom. Masks mitigate the risk for students, parents, siblings and grandmothers and students are far safer than without.
This is not a political issue, a right or left issue. Masks demonstrate that we care for ourselves and others and that our decisions make an impact on other people’s lives. Please stop feeding the false narrative about masks, it is a waste time and tax dollars.

Sincerely,
[….]

[….]
Subject: I support mask requirements

I am a txpayer whose children have always attended Missouri public schools. I believe in science and in the studies (including one published by the state of Missouri) that show that mask requirements save lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your efforts to undercut decisions by school districts to protect their students, teavhers and staff are ill-advised and dangerous.

Thank you.

Subject: PARK HILL SCHOOL DISTRICT IGNORING THE NEW LAW

Subject: mask mandates

As a citizen of Missouri, I am ashamed of what you are doing to our community and students, risking the health of many people by disregarding medical doctors. Masks are in place to protect people from Covid like me who are immune compromised. It has been proven, even by studies in Missouri that you and the Governor decided to ignore, to slow the spread of Covid. Our students need to protect themselves and their families from Covid. If someone doesn’t want to wear a mask, then homeschool like others were forced to do last.

Please stop trying to force your misguided agenda on the State of Missouri and the citizens who actually care about other people, not just themselves. Let the school districts decided what is best for their students. Consider the health and safety of the people you are supposed to represent instead of the people who get their information from Facebook.

Subject: Mask mandates still being enforced

The Independence missouri school district is still forcing our elementary children to wear masks. Middle and high schoolers have been lifted from what I understand. Supposedly 5th grade and younger will be lifted after jan 1st. It should be NOW. Our little ones need to breathe fresh air too.

Also, thank you AG Eric schmitt and others for standing up for our rights and for our children. We have put up with it way too long. We appreciate it from the bottoms of our heart. Thank you.

Well, alrighty then.

The fact that he is willing to keep is anti mask boner up for a measly $360k for the Koch bro who hasn’t stroked out yet while being willing to risk the health and safety of Missouri’s children, their families and their teachers says all anyone needs to know about his character. This is all desperate attempt to not get his ass totally smoked in a senate race where he will be beaten badly by an equally disgraceful shitbag accused of sexual assault. Way to go Missouri Republicans, you are the epitome of sellout spineless wanks that only have their best interests in mind. Im happily able to use these examples for my ywo sons in how NOT to grow up and be a complete shit stain on society.

Subject: Mask mandate

Hello Mr. Schmitt,

I am a concerned parent of a pre-K and a third grader. Teachers at my kids’ schools seem to have a very low morale and keep being asked to do more and more to educate our kids and make up for lost learning during the pandemic. I definitely think we should keep mask mandates in place, maybe make a vaccine mandate, and give teachers more money. Hospitals are overflowing, we don’t need kids sharing covid and flu at school and the giving it to grandparents!

Thank you, and I’m looking forward to voting for literally anyone running against you in the future,
[….]

Subject: Cease and desist

Please stop asking people to film our children. That’s messed up.

Subject: Complaint

I’d like to file a complaint about a neo-fascist masquerading as Missouri’s attorney general. The responsible adult who should be serving as our AG seems to have been locked away by a man child whose sole focus seems to be grandstanding for election purposes.

I’m hoping this complaint will trigger a search for the grown up AG.

Currently, a clown.

Subject: Masks

I want to report a white male who is threatening the health of my grandchildren in the Lindbergh School District by asking that they not wear masks in school. He is also threatening MY health because, if they get covid, they could pass it on to me and I am in the vulnerable sector of the population.

Subject: ozark mo mandates

Hello,
my name is [….] I have 2 children in the Ozark school district in christian county. They currently have a mandate that a child is to wear a mask on the bus to and from school. My children have been negatively affected from this especially since they have disabilities that prevent them from understanding what is being said to them due to facial cues and expressions. They have been disciplined for not having their nose covered at all times. Other kids would snap their mask on their face and many other issues from wearing these masks. The school also excludes a child that has no symptoms but was within the 6ft of a positive child.

Thank you for helping parents know what’s best for their child!

[….]

The positivity rate in Christian County, Missouri is currently 20.9% with an infection rate of 427 per 100,000, via Missouri DHSS:

Subject: Masks

I am very disturbed by what your office is doing. Asking parents to report their schools so you can harass them is over the top. I have 2 kids in elementary school and last night saw screenshots of a parent from our school harassing our principal over masks a purposely sending their kid withouta mask just to create problems. I feel so bad for the principal, he’s got plenty of other things to worry about. Just today while walking my kids to school I asked a teacher why there was no crossing guard helping the kids this morning, they said because 10 staff members were out so the teacher that usually helps direct traffic/serve as crossing guard had to help somewhere else. There are other issues going on in schools that need attention. An administrator dealing with staff shortages does not need this state sanctioned harassment. We should be supporting our educators. Enough with the political posturing.

[….]
Subject: Parkway and Rockwood School Districts in STL

These districts still have illegal mask mandates in place with no plans of changing course. Please sue or arrest those school board members. An example needs to be made.

Attorney General Schmitt, we are tired of you wasting the state of Missouri’s money & resources on ridiculous, pandering lawsuits. I wish you would do the same.

I hope you get epidemiology books for Christmas.

Thank you for protecting our children in schools and allowing the parents to make decisions about whether or not we wish to have our children wear masks to school (or anywhere for that matter).

We have 2 children in schools that are forcing the mask mandates;

Cor Jesu Academy in St. Louis, Missouri

Thank you again for going to bat for the State of Missouri, our families and businesses. It’s along and tough battle and we appreciate you!

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s (r) anti-mask public school complaint email address: illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov

There are over 8000 pages. This disheartening display of arrogance, self righteousness, willful ignorance, stupidity, entitlement, narcissism, insanity, and sarcasm is breathtaking in its volume.

If Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt (r) was really interested in the COVID-19 mitigation policies of Missouri schools and school districts all he needed to do was to check their online sites or have someone pick up a phone and call them.

But, instead, he instituted a snitch e-mail. For what purpose? Evidentally to fracture the community ties to their local schools and teaching professionals.

Subject: stay in your lane

How dare you?

We want to hear from public HEALTH officials on actual EVIDENCE Based recommendations. Not your posturing and power grab to show how many more people can be killed or injured from COVID. Why don’t you refer to that study on if masks work or not and actually pay attention to what the data says on how to keep children healthy instead of listening to the louder complainers. Why don’t you compile the level of education and in what field people that are pro-mask compared to antimask??

Why is it so unreasonable to protect children? I understand not wanting them to be in a mask forever but at least yet the youngest kids get vaccinated! You are putting the youngest kids at risk by pulling these mandates before they have a chance to protect themselves.

There have been over 2 million cases of COVID in 5-11 year olds with that number disproportionally rising. >8300 hospitalizations in the US in ages 5-11 and 1/3 of them required ICU care. What do you say to those parents? Please do what you can to prevent any more children from being hospitalized unneccesarily and continue masking until the vaccine is available for everyone.

Subject: Pattonville School District

Dera AG Schmitt,
I am writing to you on behalf of a teacher at Drummond Elementary in the Pattonville School District in north St Louis County who says masks are still being strictly enforced. She is ready for her students to take of their masks (plus herself!), so that she can see their faces and begin the journey of getting back to a normal classroom. She cares so much about them! I am writing for her, so she can protect her job.

Thank you for all that you are doing to save the children of Missouri!!

Grateful,

Subject: Unconstitutional masking

Good morning – We have children that attend Springfield Public Schools. This morning we witnessed teachers mandating masks as children enetered each of the three schools they attend. Eugene Field Elementary School, Pershing Middle School, and Pipkin Middle School. As students attempted to enter the school without masks, teachers blocked access and handed out masks to those students. Thank you for your diligent efforts to help parents retake control of their children’s health. safety, and education. [….]

Subject: Mask mandates

Please stop threatening school districts with a case that doesn’t even support what you claim it supports.

The case referenced does not support your claim that school districts/officials cannot enforce mask mandates or quarantines.

In fact, school boards are elected and thus can do what is, in their opinion, the right thing for our kids, whether or not you agress.

Please keep your political grandstanding for the sake of your Senate campaign out of the discussion whenscience backs up the facts that masks help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Sincerely,

Subject: Parkway

Dear MO State Leaders:

I want to report that my school district, Parkway, is amazing. The kids continue to wear masks to protect themselves AND their classmates. They are acting more mature and more thoughtful than the ‘leaders’ of Missouri in protecting their classmates with weakened immune systems.

Are you honestly so bored, so actual out of problems in this state taht you are resorting to policing children’s choice of clothing? Good grief. Stop throwing a temper tantrum and use your time, and our tax dollars, for something that actually matters. If you nedd ideas I might suggest:

decriminalizing marijuana use, and getting low level offenders out of jail

keeping women’s healthcare legal and safe in this state.

ending gerrymandering in this state so everyone has a voice

I’m sure I can come up with more with a little more time. Stop wsting my tax money on petty things. Do your job and lead toward a just state. Stop trying to drag us back to the ‘good old days’ where white men were all that mattered.
Sincerely,

Subject: Mandates on masks

You want tips on schools mandating masks? Here’s one for you:
Masks will not only cut down on spreading COVID, it will cur down spreading colds, the flue, and pneumonia, all of which take lives. And all of which is proven. Have you no concern for the health and well-being of children, Eric Schmitt? You are are a heartless politician with a dark soul. You only care about your own personal political gains. I am embarrassed and sickened you, Hawley, Wagner, Blunt and Parson are part of Missouri government. Absolutely disgusting.

Proud not to be a Trump loving human being.

Hello,

I would like to bring it to your attention that Visitation Academy is illegally forcing their students to wear masks. This is being lead by [….] (Head of School). Furthermore, [….] is encouraging teachers to hand out punishments when masks fall below their nose, such as demerits and docking points in class. We would appreciate a letter or call to [….] notifying him of his illegal practice.

Thank you.

[….]

Oh, the humanity!

Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Parochial schools aren’t immune from this madness. Do you think these schools want Eric Schmitt (r) to interfere in their operations? Just asking.

And finally, go ahead, keep waving a red cape in front of the Head of School.

Subject: Masks are working

Stop with your attempts to undermine safety. Your office is actually working to injure people

[….]
Subject: Masks

Are people so uneducated that they are ignoring public health and scientific data. What constitutional right is violated if people are mandated to wear a mask. I do not understand this. The government mandates a lot of things – taxes, seatbelts, helmets, school vaccines for many diseases, etc. we have a pandemic that is killing too many people every day and masks have been shown to decrease the spread of this virus. Government needs to get out of making critical health decisions. That should be left to those with scientific and medical expertise. Go into a hospital and look at what medical staff are dealing with everyday! Too much senseless suffering that can be easily controlled with masks and vaccines. A mask does not prevent me from doing anything. Masks do not affect breathing. If you think masks are not necessary, then when you have a medical procedure or surgery be sure to tell your physician he/she does not need to gown or mask up. Take your chances on getting a life threatening infection. I tend to lean toward voting Republican policy but people like Eric Schmidt would never get my vote. Does he not believe in protecting his family? He should but obviously does not.
And now we are going to asking people to ‘tattle’ on each other.
How can government dictate rules at schools and business. You do not make other conduct rules for them. Let the science experts do their job so we can curtail this pandemic. Go back and do whatever it is you are supposed to do!

“…Are people so uneducated that they are ignoring public health and scientific data…” Yes. This has been another edition of short answers to simple questions.

My son’s education and his extracurricular activities are far more important than someone else’s flu or their fear.
My son is healthy, our family already had this and we have natural immunity.
This will affect my son’s wrestling career as well because he’s got upcoming meets that are now insinuationg he must miss because somebody else’s irresponsible parent sent them to school sick. Do not think it’s fair that the children that are healthy have to miss out.
I am not sure what i’m supposed to do other than tell him not to leave school and I’m not sure what will happen at this point.
I’m begging you to send the cease-and-desist letter to Raytowm’s superintendent who thinks that the judges order was up for perception.
Thank you for your time again.

Subject: Mask mandate

I’m still disapointed to see that people have taken such an issue with the most basic form of protection from covid. I guess people enjoy being in a prolonged pandemic, where friend and loved ones are still getting sick and dying. But sure, something something something my rights something something freedom.

I get that this email probably won’t be taken seriously, but any time that was wasted in reading this was worth it.

Subject: Mask mandates

Dear MO State Leaders:

I just wanted to let you know that my schoold district is sane, calm and peaceful. The kids wear masks to protect theselves and others, and no one throws a todler tantrum or whines like a baby. They are adulting better than many of our elected officials, and I’m proud of them! Because of the mask mandate, I’m able to send my son to school and not worry about him, and there have been minimal outbreaks of COVID in the district, unlike in non mask wearing schools. I am so grateful that my school is keeping my son safe, so that he might hopefully live to vote against you won day.

Please do something useful with your elected office, such as overturning wrongful convictions, releasing people from prison who are there on petty drug charges, or actually doing ANYTHING to help make Missouri a better place!

What a motivation [….]! Thanks for asking for comments.

Subject: Stop the political theater

The majority of parents disagree with you. I am one of them. It is appalling that you are directing adults to take pictures of other peoples children and send them to you.Regardless if there is a mask mandate, my three vaccinated children will be wearing masks at school because we care about other human beings, unlike you. There are many children in our district who are immune compromised. Just because you’ve decided to play to this ridiculous anti-scince anti-caring about others campaign, does not mean the majority of Missourians agree with you.

Good luck scraping the bottom of the barrel. I wish you would put all this time, energy and money into things that would actually help our school districts, like not being 49th in education funding.

Have the day you deserve!

I am writing this email to inform the state of Missouri that my daughter’s school Visitation Academy located at 3020 N Ballas Rd. My children attend the fort zumwalt school district and they are still requiring the daily check before school that includes every symptom like runny nose, cough, etc. If they have any of those symptoms we’re not supposed to send them to school. Is that practice included in the ‘quarantine’ that is supposed to be rescinded? My daughter has mised 4 days of school now because she does have a cough. Subject: Truman State University

Mr Schmitt and Team,

I have not been able to find a sure answer about whether state funded universities are included in what you and your team are doing, but we have had a mask mandate since the beginning of Fall 2020, and it will not be re-evaluated until Jan 28. It has been re-evaluated twice this year. Briefly it was lifted in late June and early July, but it was immediately reinstated upon the students return to campus. In my opinion they have no intention of removing it, but are grandstanding to show that they are considering it. We have only 10 students in isolation currently, and that does not even positive for covid, and have had a total of 590 students in isolation in isolation since July 2020. For a school with nearly 4500 undergarduate students, these numbers by no means mean a mask date should be in effect. Our administration has been very strict on this order, including forcing myself and other football players to wear a mask while working out in our weight room. I look forward to hearing whether the Cole County decision nullifies their order.

Thank you and keep up the great work,

Subject: Hazelwood and Ferguson Florrisant are breaking the law

Hello,

Thank you! Thank you for addressing this and having courage to represent our constitution.

I am a speech teacher working in Hazelwood school District. They are quarantining, masking, and have plastic dividers all over the desks and tables.

As far as teacher go- they told us we all have to be vaccinated or get tested every week starting this week-or we cannot step on the premises next week.

I worked in Ferguson Florrisant for 10 years prior. Last week they told the teachers that everyone has to be tested weekly vaxed or not. This week they said no one had to be tested until after break.

They (Ferg Flor) out out a robo call last night in RESPONSE TO YOUR LETTER TO THEM/PUBLIC that regardless of your letter they are pushing forward with all mitigation’s.

I have not heard anything I’m Hazelwood yet-but a handful of us are not testing or getting the shot. I am in search of a lawyer that understands what’s happening in case we should need one.

Thank you,

BEFORE OUR CHILDREN CAN EVEN GET THEIR SECOND SHOT, I am so angry our AG is bullying CPS,demanding they drop the common sense, science-based mask mandate. He’s putting my child, my family and my community at an uneccesary, politically motivated risk. Lives are at stake. Isn’t he supposed to be ‘pro-life?’

I would be slightly less incensed if he would back off until after the Christmas break, when my child will be fully vaccinated. This is going to cost lives and lost school days.
[….]

Still, wear a mask. Protect others.

Subject: As a Physician and Parent I SUUPORT Mask Mandates

Attorney General Schmitt,
I’m writing in SUPPORT of Mask Mandates to keep our children safe as a private citizen, parent, and physician. The data are clear. Masks are effective in reducing risk of contracting COVID-19. The harms are minimal and there are no credible data showing widespread harm from wearing masks. There is harm from children staying home and quarantining, which can be prevented by mitigating disease spread, though masks.
Personal liberties do not and should not come at the expense of others’ safety. Refusing to wear a mask and spreading a contagious disease to others puts others at risk and is inconsistent with the values of this state and country. Although the risk for children of death is low, the risk of death remains. How many children is it acceptable to lose for this personal liberty? Further, children are at risk for debilitating symptoms of long covid, now well characterized. Sir, there are mountains and there are molehills. When choosing a hill to die on, best to make sure you’ve chosen a mountain and not a molehill. Wearing a mask is a molehill.
I understand that you are running for higher office and hoping to appeal to a base that rejects high quality scientific evidence, however, consider the consequences of your actions in the long term. How many people are you willing to sacrifice for the power that comes with higher office? It seems there are no bounds. I’ve seen this disease with my own eyes, during several turns of working on COVID wards. I am mentally and physically exhausted by the pandemic, as much as anyone is. But until you’ve looked into the eyes of someone who is needlessly suffering and struggling for air, then I’m not sure you have any right to tell others they’re allow to put people at risk.

Sincerely,

Subject: Violation

I would like to report multiple violations:

Eric Schmitt is in violation of multiple mandates:
– the mandate to not lie to the public (Robinson vs. MO DHSS does not invalidate mask mandates in schools, only that DHSS cannot close close schools based on opinion of an unelected official)
– the mandate to not intimidate scchools into believing these falsities
– the mandate to not prioritize his political campaign over his actual job
– the mandate to protect our children, teachers, and others working in schools
– the mandate to be a decent human being

As a teacher and a parent in St. Louis County I am refusing to be a pawn in your future political aspirations. Your posturing as the big man in charge does nothing to benefit our children, teachers or school administrators. During this unprecedented time your attempt at leadership is disgusting! Our children and school staff are doing their best to show up….show up! They are bravely powering through adversity to get an education. Shame on you for belittling those who are committed to providing this education and giving ALL children a chance to be in school. I want to know your plan for filling the vacancies of teachers, administrators, and school board volunteers when they get tired of this and leave the profession? Schools benefit from community from community support…. your efforts are breaking that down.

There are over 8000 pages. This disheartening display of arrogance, self righteousness, willful ignorance, stupidity, entitlement, narcissism, insanity, and sarcasm is breathtaking in its volume.

Private and parochial schools have not been spared from the wrath of the anti-mask, anti-science crowd.

The anti-science, anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-quarantine crowd is not so much defying public authority, though they do so with experts, school administrators, and elected school boards, but they are deferring to, writing polite supplications and inquiries to their perception of a centralized authority (albeit one who arguably oversteps that authority). Again, here lies danger.

Anyone who has attended a local elected school board meeting or an elected county health board during this pandemic when mitigation is a discussion item will note the jarring contrast. The local elected authorities are treated differently. There are numerous examples of this, far too many.

Yet here, and in two previous posts, we witness the anti-science, anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-quarantine crowd’s defference to some unnamed bureaucrat receiving their snitch emails via the portal established by Eric Schmitt (r). However, the range in the tone, from polite to scolding to contemptuous to defiant, in the emails from those opposed to the actions or Eric Schmitt (r) is a significant contrast.

In the defiant American tradition of monkeywrenching the pompous, there are a number of emails submitted to the Attorney General’s snitch site, not reproduced here, which can only be described as directed spam.

Subject: Mask Requirements Remaining on School Buses

Greetings,

I am a school bus driver for the North Kansas City School District #74. I’m glad to hear that, in only a day’s time, our superintendent repealed his insistence on masks in school buildings in response to the Cole County Court decision.
They have not changed their mind about the buses and are continuing to insist masks be worn only there. It is my understanding that school buses fall under the federal mandate of public transportation. Convenient. They claim to be helpless to change the policies on buses. However, when it is also convenient, they insist the school bus is an extension of the classroom. I see this as the least logical combination of rules, to roam maskless and free for eight hours in the halls then slap a mask on for a 10-20 minute bus ride. Also, the buses are only as public as the school buildings. State laws (RSMo 569.115, below) actually limit buses to exclusively students and school staff. Is there any grounds to apply the recent ruling on a school bus? I am hardly qualified to say yes, so help and clarification would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Subject: Columbia Public Schools still violating the recent Cole County Circuit Court , my grandson’s story. (video links)
[….]

My 16 year old grandson contacted me from school at 13:20 on December 7th with an ‘urgent’ need. He was being removed from his welding class at Columbia’s Hickman High because he refused to wear a paper mask with sparks flyinh in the room from welding and grinders used on metal. My grandson says thewelding class instructor has not made students wear a mask in this environment. However, after the class started on Dec. 7th [….] walked into the classroom and upon seeing ‘all’ students without a mask demanded masks be worn. My grandson refused to put a mask on due to paper masks not being safe. After some discussion he was offered a ‘fire resistant’ mask but he refused as it was too small (he is over 6 feet tall and around 200 lbs.) Besides not being required by the instructor to wear a face mask in class this season, my grandson also reported on Dec. 7th there were a total of 5 students present in the class but only 3 fire resistant masks were available. It is evident wearing a fire resistant face mask has not been expected nor available for all students. After first resisting to put on a face mask, the other 4 students finally complied (I guess one wore a paper mask in a room with sparks) but refusing to comply, my grandson was removed and made to sit in an office for the remainder of the class.

Last week my grandson, having heard about the judges ruling in the Robinson vs MO DHSS case, personally asked [….] how it impacted the schools mask mandate. [….] told my grandson that the school board had received an email from their ‘lawyer’ explaining that the Robinson vs DHSS did not affect their policy of masks being required at school. [….] actually read the email to my grandson.

Finding it egregious that a Columbia Public Schools leader should flaunt the law in the face of a high school and continue, under the mask mandate, to deprive my grandson from taking part in classes, on December 8th I personally went to the Hickman High School to discuss the issue. I took with me a copy of Attorney General (AG) Schmitt’s December 7, 2021 letter to the MO public schools and a copy of the Dec. 7 press release from the AG’s office regarding the letter. I briefly spoke with [….] and asked why CPS was not complying with the judge’s order and follow-up order fromAG to immediately cease CPS’ mask mandate. At first [….] simply referred to the CPS Administration office stating he was following policy. When I politely challenged that the AG’s order was sent to the schools on Dec. 7 [….] denied that the school had received the order on Dec. 7, yet when I showed him the Dec. 7 press release he stated he had seen it ‘on line’. I politely reminded [….] that as an adult leader to students he was personally responsible for obeying the law.

I recorded the above meeting on my personal cell phone (careful not to record any students, only my face is visible, but [….] voice is clearly recorded). You may view/download the video here
[….]

After leaving Hickman High I promptly traveled to and presented the AG’s Dec. 7th letter and a copy of the press release to the friendly receptionist at the Columbia Public Schools Administrative building. I was informed that there were no actual offices at this facility but the receptionist could send copies of the documents I submitted to each of the School Board members if I wished. I affirmed my desire that each member receive a copy. I recorded this brief interaction and it can be viewed/downloaded here [….]

Photos of the documents I delivered to both [….] at Hickman and to the receptionist at the CPS Administration building are attached. Not the highlights and my contact information written on the first page.

It is quite apparent the Columbia Public Schools administrators do not believe they are bound by court rulings nor the follow-up order from our Attorney General. I am asking that this be investigated immediately and our children’s rights protected. I greatly appreciate your service to the people of Missouri

Subject: Masking in Public Schools

Mr. Schmitt,

Why on earth would you, the Attorney General of Missouri ask for pictures of children? Taken WITHOUT parental consent?

I understand you want to overturn the mask mandate. Fine. However, asking strangers to take pictures of children wearing masks is dangerous and reckless.

My children CHOOSE to wear a mask; WITH or WITHOUT a mandate. I wear a mask because I have multiple auto immune diseases and CHOOSE to wear a mask as well. I’m not a radical ‘wear a mask or you’ll harm others’ person. However, I am a parent and I do believe in our God given rights, Consitutional Rights and Human Rights. This request violates all of those.

Your request isn’t a sound request, considering ‘data’ will be flawed. Therefor, irrelevant. You ‘may’ get photos of faculty and/or students that CHOOSE to wear a mask.
You 100% can not, you are encouraging strangers to approach children while at school, in the school yard etc. to have them ask the child. If that is the case you are putting children’s safety at risk and violating their expectation of privacy while attending school. What is worse, you just gave pedophiles and the like just cause to sit on our children’s playgrounds and photograph them!

Surely you can do better than endangering our children, and to what end?
Will fines be issued?
Will our human rights be taken away?

What is YOUR agenda in publishing this witch hunt over masking vs non masking in schools?

Simply put, your request needs to be retracted and an apology issued.

You may have already seen the text below that was emailed to parents in the Lee’s Summit R7 school district, basically disregarding the directive sent from your office.

On a personal level I wanted to let you know that my duaghter is feeling a great deal of pressure to get the vaccination because she thinks that would be better than the shaming that happens toward students who are quarantined.

I will be taking them to school today with NO MASK. Both of my boys have Asthma and one has Trachomalacia which makes it more harmful for them to be masked since they are more susceptible to infections in their lungs. The masked need to go. Sir,
Have you no shame? Have you NO regard for the good people of Missouri? You would let them die for politics? Disgusting. Where are the results of the study that showed masks work? WHERE is it? How dare you act like YOU know more than doctors or YOUR OWN STUDY? STOP interfering in trying to keep Missourians safe and healthy. WHERE are the study results? WHERE? SHAME on YOU.
STOP what you are doing.

Subject: Kiddie Academy – Chesterfield, MO
[….]

Hello,
I am contacting you because our child is being forced to quarantine from his school due to a teacher contracting covid. The teachers are required to wear masks all day while with the students. We are being told to quarantine for the 2nd time in ~45 days and that we still have to pay for our ‘tuition’ during these times. As you can imagine this is a very difficult situation for both sides but I feel it is completely unnecessary to be putiing a financial burden on families when services are not being rendered. On top of the financial aspect, it is very difficult for parents to plan within the timeframe we are notified. It is also extremely challenging to watch our 4-year-old child while trying to maintain our careers.

I have attached the communication from the Kiddie Acadaemy located in Chesterfield.

I am asking for your assistance in this matter.

Thanks

Pro tip: Your ‘anonymous’ signature isn’t really anonymous when the email header contains your email address as part of a public record.

There are over 8000 pages. This disheartening display of arrogance, self righteousness, willful ignorance, stupidity, entitlement, narcissism, insanity, and sarcasm is breathtaking in its volume.

Public schools have to be open to and accept all students. That’s not necessarily the case with private and parochial schools. Generally parents have to pay tuition (and in some cases provide their student’s uniforms) for those private and parochial schools.

In the past polling in Missouri would indicate a pride in and fierce loyalty to local public schools. If these emails are any indication, that support has eroded. If right wingnut politicians can turn people against their local public schools they can easily turn them against anything and anyone. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt (r) has easily demonstrated this possibility with his political stunt in support of his U.S. Senate primary campaign.

We’re not going to thank him for enabling and helping to confirm the obvious.

This is inevitable when our culture considers public education as if it’s nothing more than cheap and convenient childcare.

“…No lawyer in State of MO should be able to castrate the Attorney General…”

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s (r) anti-mask public school complaint email address: illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov

This afternoon we received a response from the office of Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt (r) complying with our December 9th RSMo § 610 “Missouri Sunshine Law” request for the contents of the illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov email address set up by the Attorney General to solicit complaints about mask wearing in Missouri public schools.

That’s over 8,000 pages in four files. It’ll take a while to go through it all.

A start:

Hi I’m writing you regards to the court order to stop all missouri schools, mask and quarantine mandate. My local school district slater mo public schools, have told me they don’t have to abide by this. How is this the case? They have stated they will consider looking at the court order at the next school board meeting in January. But until then it’s ok for them to tell my children they have to wear their masks even though my children are vaccinated? But yet the teachers that are vaccinated are not required to wear masks. How is this okay? This is double jeopardy. This is taking away my child’s rights. I am their parent, nt the school. I know what’s right for my child not the school. It’s some straight up bs at this school. But yet the next town over immediately put it into effect to do away with all quarantine and mask mandates…your help is greatly appreciated and needed.

Mr. Schmitt the Elsberry school has decided to not follow the ruling, citing they have the authority to do whatever they deem necessary. They decided last night to continue to mask and quarantine what they dem close contact students. They changed the term quarantine to exclude , and feel that you and the court ruling do not apply to them. We would like for the superintendent [….] to receive a letter from your office. Thank you sir for all that you do for the people of our state.

[….]
Subject: Shame

The actions of your administration are beyond deplorable. You are taking away the only few tools we have at keeping our children safe in school, and you are allowing the virus to propogate and overrun hospitals with critically ill and dying humans. Your focus is in the wrong place here. Have some humanity and take the side of the human race.

Sincerely,
[….]

[….]
Subject: A concerned MO parent

Dear Attorney General Schmitt,

It is very concerning to me that you are pursuing action against school districts and health departments for enforcing masking and quarantine guidelines for our children in Missouri. I ama parent and have 2 children in school in Missouri that were just recently eleigible to receive the vaccine. We would like to visit our immunocompromised family safely for the holidays. Which is why I chose to vaccinate my healthy children, so they are less likely to silently spread a disease that is killing our elderly, immunocompromised, and many other healthy adults and childrem.

I do not support your continued efforts to pursue legal action against schools and health departments at the expense of taxpayers. It appears to me you are doing this at the best interest of your political gain and not for the good will of the people and children of Missouri.

In our next election all eligible voters in my family will be supporting someone that is in favor of keeping our communities safe and children in school safely. The individual rights of an American citizen to not wear a mask or choose not to receive the vaccine during high community spread of a virus that has killed more than 700,000 fellow Americans stops when they directly impact community safety.

I pary for the continued safety of our community and the knowledgeable public health departments and their guidelines to keep us all safe.

Subject: Masks

Dear Eric Schmitt,

As a parent and a Missouri educator I am outraged at the way you are using taxpayer dollars to bully Missouri schools. As if we haven’t been through enough in the last year, we have a state government leader trying to divide our communities and turn our parents against us. Why, as an elected official, sworn to SERVE the people of Missouri would you choose to put us in harms way? The science is clear. Masks help stop the spread of COVID. The numbers in Kansas City and St. Louis County as compared to the rest of the state where mask mandates were in pace prove their effectiveness. We teach some of our most vulnerable population, children. Our teachers havehave put their lives in harms way to do their jobs the last year and a half. The least you can do is support us or get out of our way. Your leadership is the type of dividive rhetoric that has torn this country apart for the last five years.

SHAME on you.

Subject: Mask mandates

I am writing to say how sorry I am that the Attorney General is asking that pictures be taken of minors and sent to this email address. Privacy rights are essential.

Also, that we allow the local districts to administer their schools according to their educated view of local needs is a right given to local leaders.

Please stop trying to force parents to violate privacy law and stop trying to instigate hate.

Sincerely,
Someone who will never support this AG.
[….]

Good morning, my son goes to Lafayette High School and their Rockwood School District still requires for all students to waer masks – Lafayette, Eureka, Marquette, etc. I hate to see my son waering a mask to school and this needs to be stopped ASAP. Hopefully there’s something you can do. Thank you!

FYI – East Central College, Union, MO, has a full mask mandate for all students and staff. Along with the normal student population, there are some high school students that attend classes on campus as part of the dual credit/enrollemt programs.

[….]
Subject: Schools going to far

They are requiring kids to wear shirts! There’s no medical reason to wear shirts! Where’s the freedom.???.. What’s next, shoes?

Here is what’s happening in the St. Joseph MO school district. We have mask mandates currently in place in 4 of our schools, with the threat of implementing it in as many as needed if they can ‘manipulate’ the numbers. AND, they are ‘encouraging’ the use of ‘false-positive tests’ to allow you to remain in school……These mandates are crimes against humanity, and we are SO VERY THANKFUL that you are fighting for us! Keep up the great work!!

[….]
Subject: From a teacher’s perspective

Dear Mr. Attorney General,

As a teacher I can not understand why you are pusjing for getting rid of masks during a pandemic. Do you realize that we have a teacher shortage ? Do you realize that we can not get substitute teachers right Now when teachers get ill ? How do you expect us to teach these children when we are ill ?

I would also loke to add that there has been 2 teachers in the past 3 weeks who were vaccinated who have gotten covid. One of which is currently in the hospital intubated bcause they are so sick. So tell that taecher’s family that we should have all 2000 students no longer wear masks in my building when we are getting sick because they just don’t wear them properly.

Please thik of the GREATER good of your constituents and not the base that you hope will elect you next year.

You do not have my vote and many other teachers who you’ll be putting at risk will not vote for you.

Sincerely,
[….]

Subject: STOP

Please stop this!!!! School boards are elected to make decisions locally! Let them do their jobs. Republicans are the party of local control. Please leave it to them.

Subject: Health dept mandate

Hello
I’m writing to complain of my local health department, specifically [….] mandating my child quarantine as she is a close contact. I did discuss the letter that was sent to health departments this Tuesday, however; she stated that I was misreading it and that a student still has to quarantine at home if it was a close contact in the household. ‘She will and must enforce this quarantine.’ I have not had any conversations with the school about it and have continued to send my child to school due to the recent order. I am very frustrated with the authority she believes she has.

Thank you

AG Schmitt,

Perhaps before you ask adult men to take pictures of people’s under 18 daughters and email them to you, your office should fully disclose the search history on your personal internet browser? This should include all of your ‘incognito’ earches.

Please link a PDF of your search history in your reply to this email.

Sincerely,
[….]

I do believe that qualifies as a formal RSMo § 610 “Missouri Sunshine Law” request.

Subject: There are real problems in the world

My fourth and six grader are fine wearing masks, because they understand the importance of living in community, we’ve seen death and loss from Covid, and they are not selfish whiners.

The Waynesville School District is refusing to follow this order. My children were forced to put a mask on and were told this was ‘a rumor’. Please inform them that they must follow this order!

Subject: Mask Mandates

Office of AG,

As a parent of 3 small children I find the ruling and the actions of the AG this month to be extremely disturbing. I am literally shaking with fury as I read the news. The government has no right to abdicate its responsibility to protect the health of its residents, especially schoolchildren, by ignoring its own research and eliminating mask mandates. The most fundamental purpose of society is the protection of public health, without which basic liberty is impossible, ever since the first villagers agreed to not urinate in the water supply. Missouri zealously protects the right of an adult to carry a gun into a restaurant, but not the right of a child to semll or taste their own birthday cake. Perhaps I am being selfish, given all the cruelty in the world, but nothing has scared me more than Missouri’s ignorant and cruel governance in the face of a pandemic that has killed more Americans than every war in history, and hospitalized millions more. This tyrannical anti-mask crusade benefits nobody but the scammers and con artists.
[…]

My son is a kindergartener at Woodward school in south St. Louis. They continue to enforce the mask mandate despite opposition. The address is 725 Bellerive Blvd, St Louis MO

Jefferson Community College in Hillsboro, MO is still mandating masks for everyone indoors. Please have them cease and desist immediately.

Thank you for working so hard to help the citizens of our great state.

Subject: Mask mandates

Please follow the science. Mask mandates work. Wearing a mask is the simplest, most effective way to stop COVID-19.
Also, please stop using your time in office making headlines to further your run for the Senate.

Considering filing a class action suit against Francis Howell school district related to obstruction of justice concerning unconsitutional mask mandates,

School is blatantly disregarding Attorney General statements based upon ‘advice of their legal counsel.’

School WILL NOT provide the name of their legal counsel. Who is their Wizard of Oz?

John Weldon Elementary under Francis Howell School District.

Being public school and the fact that I am a tax payer in this district, I feel as though the school MUST inform parents of their legal counsel.

Once confirmed, I plan to file a legal complaint with the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel in relation to school districts lawyers professional misconduct.

No lawyer in State of MO should be able to castrate the Attorney General.

I now have a solid front to sue the State of Missouri directly, citing the AG, school district, and any other clown violating the constitution. This infighting is called liability.

Lawyer for the school district should be disbarred and fined millions of dollars in order to compensate these victimized parents and their children.

My [….] is the Republican House Rep [….] I feel ashamed he has not put up a stronger fight.

I do not want my last name publicized.
nor published, authorities are playing dirty, these people will target my child.

Tired of being threatened with arrest over speaking up to politicians, now we must take a new route.

Lost my job at [….] after City threatened my freedom over mask mandates, moved to [….] where we find same illegal governance now attacking my children via illegal mask mandates.

We are tired of Uncle Sammy molesting and abusing our family, what can the AG do today to rectify this complaint?

Had enough of trans and homo agenda being forced onto young children at these local schools, now illegal mask mandates, what I fear next is physical molestation under federal instruction.

[….]

(Please don’t have the police harass and follow me around because of this email)

That’s a lot to unpack.

Masks work to prevent the spread. Mandates work. Kids enter school with required vaccinations. where is your humanity?

Subject: Mask mandate

Hi, I am emailing about parkway schools. we have a mask mandate at parkway school district in chesterfield Missouri and I am tired of it we should be able to choose for our self’s also most people at school have there mask under there nose which is like not wearing it and even teachers do to. This is a free country and we should be able to decide whether to wear a mask or not in public school. Not to mention the cases in parkway are really low so obviously it shouldn’t be a problem and coronavirus won’t go away we have to just adapt to live with it like flue. I urge you to do everything in your power to get rid of the mask mandate in parkway schools!
[….]

The irony that an email submitted to the Missouri Attorney General’s Office with a boilerplate message tag is subject to public disclosure as a public record under RSMo § 610 probably escapes the author.

Dear Attorney General,

Our children attend CPS in Columbia MO. We would like to see masks mandates within the school system lifted as well as quarantining. It has been brought to our attention that the school board is ‘digging in their heels’ as one staff member replied to me.

The board is putting CPS staff members as well as the school district in a bad position.
All that appears to be affected within the district we see is state funding, student & staff attendance, health (physical & mental) concerns as well as constitutional rights violated.
Please help our district!

Sincerely,

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s (r) anti-mask public school complaint email address: illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov

We finally received a response this afternoon from the office of Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt (r) complying with our December 9th RSMo § 610 “Missouri Sunshine Law” request for the contents of the illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov email address set up by the Attorney General to solicit complaints about mask wearing in Missouri public schools.

That’s over 8,000 pages in four files.

It’ll take a while to go through it all.

In a quick reading through the start of the first file of email responses sent to illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov there is a very interesting mix.

Self-identified parents and school district employees seem to delight in turning in their schools and school districts. We never get out of junior high school.

There were several emails with a request to not reveal their identity because they feared some form of retaliation and/or the discontinuation of their at-will employment. Seriously. RSMo § 610 doesn’t allow for that. Guess what? All of that information is contained in the document. Pro tip: public business is public, with limited exceptions.

There were emails chastising Eric Schmitt (r) for wasting public money on this campaign publicity stunt.

There were several response from adult/porn sites confirming the sign-up of the illegalmandates@ago.mo.gov email address. Apparently some residents of Missouri have knowledge of these sorts of things.

There were parents complaining about mandatory masks and other COVID-19 protocols at their child’s parochial school. Think about that for just a second.

There will be more, with details, to follow.

Eric Schmitt (r) [2021 file photo].

An eagerness to punish public schools, cluelessness, willful ignorance, and sarcasm from Missourians. Who would have thought that possible?

No progress. No honor. No truth.

In the Missouri House.

A bill, introduced on January 5th:

HB 2201
Modifies provisions relating to COVID-19 liability
Sponsor: Sander, Chris (033)
Proposed Effective Date: 8/28/2022
LR Number: 4773H.01I
Last Action: 01/05/2022 – Introduced and Read First Time (H)
Bill String: HB 2201
Next House Hearing: Hearing not scheduled
Calendar: HOUSE BILLS FOR SECOND READING

The current statutes, which were effective on August 28, 2021, provide immunity from liability for exposure of an individual to COVID-19:

RSMo § 537.1005. COVID-19 exposure, immunity from liability, when — assumption of risk, signage — no third-party liability, exceptions. — 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, and except as otherwise provided in this section, no individual or entity engaged in businesses, services, activities, or accommodations shall be liable in any COVID-19 exposure action unless the plaintiff can prove by clear and convincing evidence [….]

RSMo § 537.1010. Health care providers, immunity from liability, exceptions. — 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, and except as provided in subsection 2 of this section, no health care provider shall be liable in a COVID-19 medical liability action unless the plaintiff can prove [….]

RSMo § 537.1015. Covered products, no COVID-19 products liability, when — evidence required for liability — inapplicability, when. — 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, and except as otherwise provided in this section, no individual or entity who designs, manufactures, imports, distributes, labels, packages, leases, sells, or donates a covered product shall be liable in a COVID-19 products liability action if the individual or entity [….]

HB 2201 [pdf] adds sections which would reinstate liability for each of the three existing statutes:

[….] The provisions of this section shall not apply to any individual or entity or religious organization that has a COVID-19 mandate. A mandate may include, but is not limited to, requiring a person to:
(1) Be vaccinated;
(2) Wear a facial covering or mask; or
(3) Socially distance himself or herself from others. [….]

[….] The provisions of this section shall not apply to a health care provider with a COVID-19 mandate. A mandate may include, but is not limited to, requiring a person to:

(2) Wear a facial covering or mask; or
(3) Socially distance himself or herself from others. [….]

That is, COVID-19 liability protections which were extended to various entities in the last legislative session would be removed if these entities require vaccines, masks, or social distancing.

“…not limited to…”

This way lies madness.

Raise your hand if you’d like your surgeon to wash their hands and wear a mask.

The bill sponsor:

Representative Chris Sander, a Republican, represents parts of Cass, Jackson, and Lafayette counties (District 33) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Sander is the founder and owner of Powder Monkey FIREWORKS, Inc. in Weldon Spring.

He graduated from Hazelwood West High School, and received his Bachelors of Science in business administration from the University of Missouri in 2005. [….]

A certain irony there.

[emphasis added]

Roy Blunt (r) voted “No”.

What an asshole.

Some of the Twitter responses to Roy Blunt (r):

Suddenly, you’re so concerned.
[….]

We noticed that, too.

Were you worried in summer 2020 when we learned Jared Kushner spent tax payer $ on test kits and held them back? I had covid in July 2020 and waited in line 5 days in a row for 2 hours a day to get a test. We still don’t have an answer about where those tests went? Why?

Isn’t this a state problem? Isn’t the money sent to them to manage this??

Mike Parson (r). He’s not concerned.

Isn’t this where MO AGO sues? How is a mask mandate considered “government control” but suing school districts and county health to prohibit masks not “government control”?

There is a test shortage because Republicans refuse to get vaccinated. According to Gallup, 40% of Republicans “don’t plan” to get vaccinated, versus 26% of Independents and just 3% of Democrats. Use your voice to convince Republicans to get vaccinated.

What happened, Roy? Didn’t get a cut you were expecting? Your state fights protection measures in court, & distorts test/case results. Biden is ramping tests up mega-fold. If people would get vaxxed & practice safety measures, we wouldn’t need so many tests. Help w/ solutions

Republicans were in charge the first year. The only plan was the President’s son-in-law telling Governors to “work the phones.”

After Trump said stop testing? Parson says MO has a stock pile of tests. Where the hell are they? Might want to take a look at your party/cult.

Roy, the governor of the state you represent (but don’t live in) just washed his hands of Covid mitigation.

Meanwhile, we are again hitting unprecedented Covid infection rates. The ICUs are near capacity AGAIN.

Why not find out WHY our Governor is AWOL in this fight?

Because you are just a spectator in the government. Apparently

Who was president then?

Well what does it matter our Governor says get it, deal with it, and what happens happens. Mo. from a GOP leadership perspective has no intention of doing anything to mitigate the virus anymore. Parsons says we’re GOOD, the kings have spoken so the commoners must submit.

Such chutzpah, Roy.
