“People before money”

Today:

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

After reviewing the details of the unserious and ridiculous demands being made by the Minority Radical Left Democrats in return for their Votes to keep our thriving Country open, I have decided that no meeting with their Congressional Leaders could possibly be productive. They are threatening to shut down the Government of the United States unless they can have over $1 Trillion Dollars in new spending to continue free healthcare for Illegal Aliens (A monumental cost!), force Taxpayers to fund Transgender surgery for minors, have dead people on the Medicaid roles, allow Illegal Alien Criminals to steal Billions of Dollars in American Taxpayer Benefits, try to force our Country to again open our Borders to Criminals and to the World, allow men to play in women’s sports, and essentially create Transgender operations for everybody. These Radical Left Views and Policies is what allowed me to win the Presidential Election, including all seven Swing States, and the Popular Vote, IN A HISTORIC LANDSLIDE. There are consequences to losing Elections but, based on their letter to me, the Democrats haven’t figured that out yet. They are trying to eliminate the popular $50 Billion Dollar Rural and Vulnerable Hospital Fund, which was passed with only Republican Votes, and proudly signed into Law by ME. The Democrats in Congress seem to have totally lost their way. They obviously have no idea what it means to put America First or to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! All Congressional Democrats want to do is enact Radical Left Policies that nobody voted for — High Taxes, Open Borders, No Consequences for Violent Criminals, Men in Women’s Sports, Taxpayer funded “TRANSGENDER” surgery, and much more. Few people voted for what they represent, which would lead to the destruction of America. Instead, people voted for COMMON SENSE, and that’s what the Republicans and your President, “DONALD J. TRUMP,” stand for. I look forward to meeting with them if they get serious about the future of our Nation. We must keep the Government open, and legislate like true Patriots rather than hold American Citizens hostage, knowing that they want our now thriving Country closed. I’ll be happy to meet with them if they agree to the Principles in this Letter. They must do their job! Otherwise, it will just be another long and brutal slog through their radicalized quicksand. To the Leaders of the Democrat Party, the ball is in your court. I look forward to meeting with you when you become realistic about the things that our Country stands for. DO THE RIGHT THING!

DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

“…the ball is in your court…”

Uh, the republican party has control of the House and the Senate.

“No Human Being is Illegal”

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

The Democrats want Illegal Aliens, many of them VIOLENT CRIMINALS, to receive FREE Healthcare. The Democrats want $500 Million Dollars to help Radical Left News Outfits. The Democrats want to leave DEAD PEOPLE on Medicaid and Social Security rolls, so that Criminals can continue to be allowed to receive that payment, and steal their money. The Democrats want to cut Billions of Dollars from our once vulnerable Rural Hospitals (which we fixed by giving them the largest Cash Infusion, EVER!). The Democrats want men playing in women’s sports, “Transgender” for EVERYBODY, Open Borders and, perhaps most importantly of all, a five letter word, CRIME (They like it, and we don’t!), and so many other things that will destroy America. We cannot let this happen!

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Kamala Harris, who is DUMB AS A ROCK, is going around and using, as a standard part of her Speech on why she lost the Election, that 2024 was the “closest Presidential Election in the 21st Century.” Everyone knows this is a lie, and was covered as such by Fox News! I won the Electoral College, 312-226, a LANDSLIDE, Counties Nationwide, 2,600 to 525, a LANDSLIDE, all seven Swing States, a LANDSLIDE, and, despite the fact that California’s Fake Mail In Ballots came in at ridiculous numbers (It was RIGGED!), I still won the Popular Vote by MILLIONS! Bush, as an example, won the Election by 537 Votes, and many other Elections were very close. Kamala’s “closest in the 21st Century” soundbite was, like everything else in the Democrat Party, A TOTAL LIE! I expect an apology. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Empty lots don’t vote, dumbass.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

A REAL DISGRACE took place at the United Nations yesterday — Not one, not two, but three very sinister events! First, the escalator going up to the Main Speaking Floor came to a screeching halt. It stopped on a dime. It’s amazing that Melania and I didn’t fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first. It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster. This was absolutely sabotage, as noted by a day’s earlier “post” in The London Times that said UN workers “joked about turning off an escalator.” The people that did it should be arrested! Then, as I stood before a Television crowd of millions of people all over the World, and important Leaders in the Hall, my teleprompter didn’t work. It was stone cold dark. I immediately thought to myself, “Wow, first the escalator event, and now a bad teleprompter. What kind of a place is this?” I then proceeded to make a Speech without a teleprompter, which kicked in about 15 minutes later. The good news is the Speech has gotten fantastic reviews. Maybe they appreciated the fact that very few people could have done what I did. And third, after making the Speech, I was told that the sound was completely off in the Auditorium where the Speech was made, that World Leaders, unless they used the interpreters’ earpieces, couldn’t hear a thing. The first person I saw at the conclusion of the Speech was Melania, who was sitting right up front. I said, “How did I do?” And she said, “I couldn’t hear a word you said.” This wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I’m sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation. No wonder the United Nations hasn’t been able to do the job that they were put in existence to do. All security tapes at the escalator should be saved, especially the emergency stop button. The Secret Service is involved. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

If someone at the UN intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately.

Inflation is so bad these days that taking a $50,000 cash bribe can’t even get you indicted. SAD!! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

September 21, 2025 at 9:27 PM

Some of the responses:

Supreme Court “bribes meh”

I mean given they take them, they figure it’s not a crime

Chump change. He should have held out for more.

Yeah it’s wild how numb people have gotten to stuff like this. Feels like nothing shocks anyone anymore.

In my day accepting a loaf of bread got you a one way ticket on the convict ship to Australia

Especially, when you consider that’s over 4 million rubles.

The level of criminality in this administration should be shocking. Should be. Unfortunately, when you have a criminal at the head – the criminality of the underlings is no surprise.

Listen, we don’t have all the facts yet. There’s been no indictment or trial, so let’s take a step back and do what he would: throw him in a third world torture prison till we can sort this out.

We see what you did there.

He thought it was his ICE hiring bonus…

I’ve heard pity that the price was so low.

Yep.

Senator Eric Schmitt (r).

On Friday:

Senator Eric Schmitt
[September 19, 2025]

Shutdown Schumer is willing to shutdown the government just to refund NPR, gut the $50B rural health fund that was included in the One Big Beautiful Bill, & reinstate wasteful spending.
[….]

Some people aren’t buying it:

GOP controls the House and Senate. GOP white house.
GOP can force through anything they want.
DO YOUR JOB AND STOP WHINING.

Good for Schumer! Stop the radical agenda that is taking the US down

Liar. They’re trying to talk y’all into RE-funding MEDICAID and a few other such “wastes”.

Why did the senate fail to pass the government funding bill?

Where have you been? The government has been shutdown since last January.

They have a point.

Republicans have the majority in the House, the Senate, the judiciary, and the executive.
How would a shutdown be the fault of the Democrats?

Go nuclear on the Satan party.

Point of view.

How can this continue to happen. And some people believe it’s okay. Someone please explain why.

See above.

Hey Senator Eric Schmitt, fuck you traitor, fuck your traitor party, and fuck Trump you pathetic fawning fanboy.

Stop with the gaslighting and take the opportunity you’re being offered to save face on that ugly bill that the overwhelming majority of Americans disapprove of.

It’s actually also to keep funding health care, but don’t let the truth get in your way.

No you dumb fuck you are lying again as all MAGA POS elected officials do. Here is why they don’t want to fund the government thru the MAGA CR.
Key Disagreements
1. Expiring ACA Subsidies and Healthcare Premiums
• Democrats are pushing to extend enhanced subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, which are set to expire. If they expire, insurance premiums for many people would rise significantly.
• Without those extensions, millions could lose coverage or face double-digit premium hikes. Democrats argue a CR that doesn’t address this is not acceptable.
2. Cuts to Medicaid and Other Health Programs
• The proposed Republican CR (or elements of recent budget agreements) include cuts to Medicaid and possibly other health programs. Democrats want to reverse or prevent those.
3. No Input / Unilateral Drafting
• Democrats complain that the CR was drafted without their meaningful participation—i.e., Republicans putting together the proposal without negotiations or incorporating Democratic priorities. They want bipartisan bargaining.
4. “Clean” CR vs Policy Riders
• Republicans are pushing for a “clean” continuing resolution (i.e. one without extra policy changes or controversial additions), arguing it buys more time. Democrats argue that the clean approach simply ignores urgent policy needs, especially healthcare.
5. Political Pressure / Base Expectations
• There’s pressure from Democratic constituents and activist groups to defend healthcare, protect Medicaid, and oppose cuts rather than simply let the funding pass with what they view as damaging omissions. Failing to fight over these issues could hurt their standing.

There’s that.

When can we vote Schumer out

Sir, this is a Burger King.

Didn’t y’all shutdown the government to avoid a vote on the Epstein files?

NOT IMPRESSED w/the crooked REPUBLICAN liars trying to blame OTHERS for their SHITTY BBB!!!

WTF are they thinking?

Virtually every thing you say on this video is a lie. Do you ever tell the truth?

No. This has been another edition of Short Answers to Simple Questions.

You’re crazy.

Lies. The Democrats wanted y’all to agree to postpone the massive health insurance increases you are forcing on the country. You refused.

Why are you even talking? You will vote yes on any Bootlicker Bill that comes your way.

No more trillions for illegals and NGOs

Math is hard.

How is it Schumer’s fault? Republicans have the majority in the house and senate. Get your own party in Line.

You wouldn’t need that $50 billion rural health fund if you all didn’t make huge cuts that are going to affect Medicaid & Medicare. That $50 billion isn’t going to even come close to filling that gap.
About 1% of funding for NPR comes directly from the federal govt.
That one Big Bullshit bill is costing us more & you know it’s going to hurt ppl that’s why you are all trying to rebrand it.
You are lying to ppl & trying to gaslight them.

You’re willing to watch people die so your billionaire friends can get tax cuts.

Considering Republicans are in control, I doubt that. Nice try, Epstein.

So – there was a moment when you decided to debase yourself and embrace American fascism. Do you remember when that was?

How do you believe this is Democrats’ fault when Republicans control the House, Senate & presidency??🤦🏻

The GOP was told by Trump to not negotiate with the Dems. If a shutdown occurs, it is a TRUMP shutdown and the GOP in Congress is complicit.

Stand strong and please do not cave in to the communists on either side of the aisle.

That’s a lot to unpack there.

I’ll never vote Democrat again! SMH! 🔥

Never has.

Stay strong. They want that money to put into their DNC for their campaigns. They have used tax payers money for years to pay for their campaigns.

Bicycle helmets are a good thing.

I’m sure you’re lying.

We would like you to fund NPR, yes. What the fuck is wrong with you people?

You mean the bill that will trigger $500 billion in medicare cuts due to the pay as you go bill of 2010? Thank goodness Schumer cares about the elderly more than making billionaires richer.

Selling your soul?

Too late.

Throw your law degree in the trash. You’ve violated your oath of office in every possible way.

Shut up with your storytelling lies it’s you and the republican party period.

Bullshit Eric Schmitt.

Democrats are the only group on the planet that can gun down an innocent man, celebrate his death, mock his wife, destroy memorials for him, lie about who killed him and somehow STILL make themselves the victims.

“The warning that was received, you may take with however many grains of salt you wish, that the brown acid that is circulating around us, is specifically not too good. It’s suggested that you do stay away from that.”

Your “health fund” is a scam, and it will harm a lot of people. Funding NPR also gets news and other programming to a lot of Americans in rural areas that have limited choices, including educational programming. I think you’re just mad that you haven’t been able to make NPR a propaganda organ – so much so that you are willing to harm your own constituents in order to damage it.
In the final analysis, the GOP is in charge, and our system is set up so that you have to seek consensus. Instead, you have branded Democrats “the enemy” (and let’s not even talk about inciting violence with your rhetoric). Democrats are fellow Americans and your colleagues. If you refuse to work with them, you will fail, and you deserve to do so. The American people will understand that it is entirely your fault.

How much money is added to the national debt from your one big shitty bill? You left that part out…

You control the house, senate and the presidency. If you can’t pass your own lies, that’s on you

The GOP controls both houses. Stop blaming everyone else for your incompetence.

Yeah if you think we’re taking your word for it, think again. All you’ve done is lie about budgets.

That statement is full of misleading information. My understanding was you are trying to end the affordable care act?

Try to keep up.

You have all the power, you dont get [to] play victim and blame others…

I unregistered to vote in 2020 after the worthless Congress Republicians especially refused to stand with America. Now 4 of you crooked Republicans blocked blocking the Muslim terrorist in Congress. Republicans are so cowardly no spines and no ethics. Democrats are domestic terrorist.

Sir, this is a Burger King.

You’re willing to tromp on our Constitution and allow the orange turd to behave like a delusional king.

“No King”

Posterboard. Permanent marker, acrylic. 22 x 28.
(Thank you, Tom Tomorrow)

That $50 billion for rural hospitals is still $100 billion less because of your Medicaid cuts. Some of us can still read….

You assholes are u fuckingbelievable! You control all three branches of government and the only thing you have to offer Americans is incompetence and stupidity. For the sake of the nation, go fuck yourself, you fascist shitstain.

Why are you even allowing Chuck Schumer a voice in Congress? The man is an idiot.

Think about that for just a second.

Republicans have the majority you fucking idiot. If it shuts down it’s because you clowns can’t govern. Stop worrying about who loves who and do your job.

Taxpayers should not pay for sex chain. That’s just like cosmetic surgery my gosh, we have people out here that have serious health issues and need surgery. Oh my gosh. what is this world coming to?

Rep. Cleaver’s Statement on Charlie Kirk Resolution
September 19, 2025
Press Release
(Washington, D.C.) – Today, U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) released the following statement on the Charlie Kirk Resolution.

“As John Donne said in his famous poem, ‘any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind.’

“I reject and resent the savagery of the man who killed Charlie Kirk. When we resort to violence as a means of expressing opposition to another’s politics, we are actually downgrading our own. I condemn political violence in all forms and from all perpetrators, including the heinous murder of Mr. Kirk.

“Mr. Kirk’s statements about African American women and other Black people demands me to reject his racial insensitivity. Therefore, because I fundamentally disagreed with many of Mr. Kirk’s views, I voted against today’s resolution on the grounds that it lionized a legacy I cannot support.”

Charlie Kirk (r):

If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, boy, I hope he’s qualified.

If you’re a WNBA, pot-smoking, Black lesbian, do you get treated better than a United States marine?

Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact. It’s happening more and more.

If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because of affirmative action?

If we would have said that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called racists. Now they’re coming out and they’re saying it for us … You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person’s slot to go be taken somewhat seriously.

We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately.

I think it’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the second amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.

America was at its peak when we halted immigration for 40 years and we dropped our foreign-born percentage to its lowest level ever. We should be unafraid to do that.

The American Democrat party hates this country. They wanna see it collapse. They love it when America becomes less white.

The great replacement strategy, which is well under way every single day in our southern border, is a strategy to replace white rural America with something different.

America has freedom of religion, of course, but we should be frank: large dedicated Islamic areas are a threat to America.

We’ve been warning about the rise of Islam on the show, to great amount of backlash. We don’t care, that’s what we do here. And we said that Islam is not compatible with western civilization.

Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America.

There is no separation of church and state. It’s a fabrication, it’s a fiction, it’s not in the constitution. It’s made up by secular humanists.

Don’t be a such a snowflake, it’s actually part of the job. You know, being held accountable by your constituents.

Let’s see, on September 9, 2025 Brandon Phelps (r) voted to approve the Gerrymandering of congressional districts in Missouri and voted to restrict the citizen initiative process for Missouri voters.

We understand those rude church ladies had the temerity to ask you questions about that.

Then, this came in today’s mail, apparently paid for by a right wingnut PAC of some sort:

Oooh! “Liberty.” Ironic, don’t you think, considering Brandon Phelps (r) just voted to disenfranchise voters and restrict their voices in the citizen initiative process?

Oh, gee, the legislative agenda of AFP-Missouri. Did you actually ask your constituents about that? Just asking.

Statement in Response to ABC Taking Jimmy Kimmel Live! Off the Air
Wednesday September 17th, 2025

American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada President Tino Gagliardi issued the following statement in response to ABC taking Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which employs musicians from Local 47 in Los Angeles, off the air:

“This is not complicated: Trump’s FCC identified speech it did not like and threatened ABC with extreme reprisals. This is state censorship. It’s now happening in the United States of America, not some far-off country. It’s happening right here and right now.

This act by the Trump Administration represents a direct attack on free speech and artistic expression. These are fundamental rights that we must protect in a free society. The American Federation of Musicians strongly condemns the decision to take Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air.

We stand in solidarity with all those who will be without work because of government overreach.”

Donald Trump (r), today:

Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!
