77,303,568 Americans voted for Trump — 49.8%. More people –77,937,385– voted against him, for someone else. His popular vote margin over Harris was razor thin. He has never won a majority of the popular vote in any election. Joe Biden actually did win a majority of the popular vote in 2020 with more than 81 million votes, and I don’t recall you ever saying he had a mandate. Hmmm.

Congressman Mark Alford, there was no mandate in November. Trump won by less than 1%. Over a third of registered voters didn’t even vote. So take your mandate and fuck off. Your vote on this bill will end up being the end of your political career when people in the 4th district start losing SNAP benefits and Medicaid.
