Requires proof of citizenship each time you register to vote. Democrats introduced an amendment to protect married women from being penalized. But REPUBLICANS VOTED THAT DOWN a Democrat amendment introduced to protect married women from being penalized under the legislation. CALL YOUR SENATORS.
2. The House narrowly adopted a Republican budget blueprint for slashing taxes for wealthy and cutting government spending. This happened after hardline conservatives concerned that it would balloon the nation’s debt ended a revolt that had threatened to derail President Trump’s domestic agenda. GOP Leaders can now move forward with crafting major legislation to enact a huge tax cut, financed with deep reductions in spending on federal programs (Social Security & Medicaid) and push it through Congress over Democratic opposition. CALL YOUR SENATORS.
3. The FDIC, the regulator that monitors our banks and backstops our deposits via its insurance fund, has been infiltrated by DOGE. CROSS YOUR FINGERS?
