What exactly don’t you get?
The fact that the country you are in is less than half the size of the continental U.S. therefore the vehicles are not built for comfort but for the purpose of getting from point A-B. Most shopping in the country you are in is probably done more on a daily basis opposed to weekly and because of previously laid infrastructure can be done within walking distance of where people live.
I could understand why you don’t “get it” when you do not seem to understand the daily struggles many of your constituents may face every day such as food deserts, lack of public transport, lack of healthcare, etc.

It’s honestly amazing how confidently wrong you are. In Zadvydas v. Davis (2001), the Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution’s protections, including due process, apply to all persons in the United States, not just citizens. In Plyler v. Doe (1982), the Court reaffirmed that undocumented immigrants are “persons” under the 14th Amendment, entitled to equal protection. And in Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886), over a century ago (was America “great” back then?) the Court ruled that constitutional protections apply to “all within the territory,” regardless of citizenship. But hey, don’t let facts or 200 years of constitutional law get in the way of your Facebook rant.

That is completely wrong. The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that everyone on U.S. soil, citizen or not, is protected by the Constitution. That includes due process and equal protection under the law. You don’t get to ignore the Constitution just because someone’s undocumented. If you’re okay with the government breaking the law today, don’t be surprised when it’s your rights they ignore tomorrow.

That’s nonsense. No one flew to El Salvador for a “photo op with a criminal.” They went because due process matters, a principle that protects all Americans, even the ones you don’t like. Meanwhile, if you actually cared about American communities, you’d stop pushing policies that are wrecking them, like tariffs that crush small businesses, tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy, and cuts to public services. Blaming immigrants is just a lazy way to dodge responsibility for the damage you’re helping cause.

The thing about Garcia is that he is allowed due process per the constitution. A judge in 2019 said he could not be deported to El Salvador because he would be killed. So he got a stay. Now was he a gang member? Did he beat his wife? Did he have drugs on him or a wad of cash? Maybe and if he did then a simple due process in the courts would have found him guilty and said yep deport him and away he goes. But because he did not get his day in court the SCOTUS 9-0 said no you have to facilitate to get him back to have his day in court. Now should illegals be allowed due process, again maybe not, but that is not the law, the law is they are allowed due process through immigration court. So now the administration has broken the law, oh but that is okay he was a bad dude. Well what about next time, or what about all the students who are los their Visas ( because they may have a speeding ticket, or maybe overstayed their visa by a month. Again if the President no longer does due process then what stopping him from saying you or I are criminals and we need to be sent to a detention center, maybe we are horrible criminals and need to go out of the country. We start sliding down the slope of losing the law, there will be no law left. This is not about Garcia this is about due process. Think about that.
Fifth Amendment – Guarantees that “no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” The term “person” applies to all individuals in the U.S., including undocumented immigrants (Zadvydas v. Davis, 2001).
Fourteenth Amendment – Ensures equal protection under the law and has been interpreted to extend certain legal protections to noncitizens.
Supreme Court Precedents – Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886): Recognized that due process protections apply to all “persons” in the U.S., not just citizens. Plyler v. Doe (1982): Prevented states from denying public education to undocumented children, reinforcing that noncitizens have rights under the Constitution.

That’s not what our laws say, no matter how many times you shout it.
Crossing the border illegally is a civil violation, not a criminal one, for first-time offenders. It’s governed under Title 8 of the U.S. Code, not the criminal code. Yes, re-entering after removal can be a federal crime, but entering without inspection is generally treated as a civil immigration offense, not something that makes someone a “criminal” under criminal law. More importantly, our Constitution and legal system guarantee due process to all people on U.S. soil, regardless of how they arrived. That’s not just my opinion, that’s been upheld in multiple Supreme Court cases. We’re not El Salvador or North Korea. We don’t get to skip trials just because we don’t like the person. If you think saying “this has been our laws forever” makes it true, then you need to read the actual laws.

Yes, it was a taxpayer-funded trip, like every congressional visit to war zones, disaster sites, or foreign allies. And let’s not pretend this outrage is about spending. Several Republicans, including Kristi Noem, Jason Smith, and Riley Moore, also visited El Salvador’s CECOT prison on the public’s dime. Noem and Moore used inmates as a photo backdrop. If that’s not a photo op, what is? You only get mad when the destination doesn’t match your politics.

I plead with you to take a strong stance against this most recent security breach. I was entrusted with the highest level clearance in my 35 career, and the information shared via a publicly available app did in fact jeopardize our service members carrying out that mission and violates procedures for handling Unclassified information. This would have been a reportable incident regardless of the information classification as information was shared with an outsider. Anyone who has any k level of access should know the “with a need to know” provision of any information, including unclassified information. If you truly support service members, then please do what is morally appropriate and take a stand to hold these individuals, particularly Secretary Hegseth, accountable for this irresponsible and reckless conduct and blatant and inexcusable mishandling of information.

Please tell members of the military that this is no big deal. Tell anyone with a security clearance that this is no big deal. I know this is a big deal because I can read, not because the media is talking about it.

I live in the KC metro area in a rural town about the size of La Grange and Canton put together. We do not have a grocery store in town but we do have two Dollar Generals. The eggs there are over 8 and over 6 for a carton.

The outrage, though, is caused by the way the executive branch is pushing the limits on all sorts of boundaries. The extreme readings being made of the Constitution, the laws, the responsibilities of the branches of government, and the appropriate political disagreements are the cause of the outrage and made worse by no pushback from Congress.

The Left spent the past decade building a vast censorship enterprise.
A shadowy network of NGOs, tech groups and governments working to censor the Left’s enemies—not just in America, but across the West.
Over the next four years, the GOP must expose + dismantle this system.
The censorship-industrial complex wasn’t built overnight. It’s been festering for years.
But the Biden administration mobilized an unholy alliance of government power, taxpayer dollars, NGOs and Big Tech companies to build it into a global censorship powerhouse.
Seemingly every agency was a partner in building this system: FBI, CIA, NSA, DHS, State Department, Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, USAID—even FEMA.
Through grants and partnerships, these agencies funneled countless tax dollars to censorship groups.
What you have to understand is that these groups operate as one cohesive class. There’s a revolving door between the “public” and “private” spheres.
Former government officials populate the advisory boards of these “disinformation” groups—and vice versa.
Biden’s transition team was STACKED with tech insiders. They staffed the entire executive branch—State, Treasury, EPA, OMB, etc.
Many of them were Obama alumni. When Obama left office, they went to work in tech. When Biden’s presidency began, they transitioned right back in.
So it should come as no surprise that these worlds are in constant communication with one another. Remember Jen Psaki boasting that they were “flagging problematic posts” for Facebook?
These weren’t independent actors. Under the Biden administration, it was one system.
And Biden officials didn’t just “flag” content. They pushed platforms to transform their algorithms to suppress ideas they disliked.
In an email, Biden’s Digital Director told YouTube that “this is a concern that is shared at the highest (and I mean highest) levels of the WH.”
Those are just a few minor examples of a trend that accelerated over the past decade: Western governments creating, funding or coordinating with powerful outside groups to clamp down on (mostly right-wing) dissent.
Just look at the State Department’s “Global Engagement Center.”
Between 2020 and 2021, two State Department-backed entities—the Global Engagement Center (GEC) and the National Endowment for Democracy—funneled $665,000 to the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), a British nonprofit which creates secretive blacklists of conservative media.
GDI’s blacklists were stealthily fed to advertising companies to financially cripple targeted news outlets.
The top 10 outlets on its “disinformation” list are all conservative.
GDI’s CEO openly boasted that this had “a significant impact on” the outlets’ “advertising revenue.”
The GEC was created to combat FOREIGN propaganda aimed at undermining US security.
But instead, it was turned inwards on our own citizens.
We’ve seen this stuff happen across our intelligence and security agencies.
I fought to shutter the GEC—for good.

During the 2020 election—under President Trump’s first term—the Department of Homeland Security’s CISA formed a “counter-disinformation” coalition with powerful outside censorship groups.

This system operates across the borders of the West—giving it yet another way around our Constitution.
When their censorship machine faced legal challenges in the US, Biden officials and their nonprofit allies began using foreign censorship laws to crack down on American speech.
At least 23 US-funded NGOs, nonprofits and “disinformation” groups have received nearly $15.5 million of your tax dollars to help enforce the EU’s draconian new Digital Services Act—which levies hefty fines on tech platforms (including US platforms) for allowing “disinformation.”
In other words: Using these groups, our government was helping European bureaucrats bully US tech companies into censoring American speech.
That includes groups like NewsGuard—whose advisory board has boasted the former heads of the CIA and NSA, DHS, and the GEC, respectively.
To sum things up: American and European bureaucrats, along with their friends in the NGOs and the tech companies, have been working together to wage a war of censorship and suppression against their own citizens across the West.
I fought this censorship-industrial complex as Attorney General of Missouri, where I sued the Biden admin for pressuring tech platforms into censoring conservatives—and took them to the Supreme Court.
Now it’s time to work with President Trump to end this once and for all.
Thankfully, President Trump is dismantling the government arm of this regime. The State Department’s Global Engagement Center has been shut down. Funding streams for “disinformation” groups have been cut.
But many of the “private” censorship NGOs are still operating as we speak.

Dear elected officials: I have been closely following the Doge cuts being made to make America great again. Apparently, you fully approve of those cuts because you have not voiced opposition. It occurred to me that Elon has not yet gotten into how Congress runs, so I have a few suggestions for him. First let’s close the gym and any other wellness facilities in the congressional buildings. We can also shut down all elevators to allow our elected officials to get your steps in on the stairs. People who can’t use the stairs? That’s DEI, so you shouldn’t be in Congress anyway. Without fitness facilities, shut down those showers. Think of the water savings and if you get stinky on the stairs, maybe you will get your work done faster. While we are on personal hygiene, remove all toilet paper. That way no one has to touch TP that may have been handled by an LGBTQ individual, which heaven forbid, might then touch your personal parts and you would then find yourselves to be LGBTQ! Everyone can carry their own. Elon would probably find an $80,000,000,000 savings right there. Moving on, remove 3/4’s of all light bulbs. You aren’t reading constituent emails so 25% light source should be sufficient. Get rid of metal detectors and Capitol police. When your constituents show up it becomes a lovefest. Security only gets in the way. If there’s a problem, half of you will probably carry anyway. This is just a start. Judging from some of your constituents, they may have more suggestions at your town halls.
