In light of the U.S. military buildup within striking distance of Iran, it is imperative that the War Powers Act be honored.
No president has the authority to unilaterally use military force without the approval of Congress.
The last thing this country needs right now is another war in the Middle East that would add trillions to the national debt while putting countless lives at risk. That’s why I proudly co-sponsored H.Con.Res. 38, an Iran War Powers Resolution to prevent U.S. military action.
