4th Congressional District, abortion, anti-choice, former newsreader, Mark Alford, missouri, right wingnut, women's health care, women's reproductive health

“He who hath no uterus…”

Congressman Mark Alford
[January 20, 2024]
We must be a warrior for the defenseless, a voice for the voiceless, and help bring sense to a senseless world.
That means being unapologetically pro life.
Every life is precious to God and worth protecting.
[….]

Mark Alford (r) [2023 file photo].

There is much hilarity in the responses:

“Pro-life” MBFA – guns are the #1 killer of children; women DIE of complications of pregnancy; slow death by inaccessible healthcare kills tens of thousands. You’re pro-forced -birth to control women, NOT to “save children”.

there you have it folks! Mark Alford, a man, wants to criminalize reproductive rights of women! In addition, he does not want women to be able to get an abortion if their life is in danger, if she is raped, if she conceives resulting from incest, if the child cannot function outside of the womb or if the child’s quality of life will be impaired in any fashion! [….]

You are pro fetus. Pro life means tackling gun violence.

Republicans will let a woman die from sepsis before letting her have an abortion, they’ll teach a child to tourniquet before banning AR-15s, and they’ll let 8 MILLION kids go hungry instead of giving them free food, but they’re marching to prove just how “pro-life” they are.

Which god?

Except for the life of the mother when life threatening medical issues happen. PATHETIC MARK!

You are not prolife.
Being supportive of life would be supportive of Healthcare for All, especially women and children, it would be supportive of Preventive Healthcare, vaccines, birth control, regular check ups. Supporting life would be fully funding public education. Supporting free lunches for All public school students. Assistance in daycare, housing and job training. Being supportive of life would be providing the care timely care, for All Veterans. Being supportive of life would be passing laws that ensured ALL individuals enjoy ALL RIGHTS, EQUAL RIGHTS.
You do not support life. You support control, over women and anyone not just like you.

An empty vessel. Absolutely no self-reflection or shame.

Mark Brown Thumb Alford has 0 to say about the 5000 unaccompanied homeless and DEFENSELESS children living in Missouri.
He’s a typical lying republican.
He wants to control women in order to make money off them–to the tune of 25 cents on the dollar.

Embrace it Comrade, you are part of the do nothing Congress. Keep on doing nothing but talking, just like when you were on tv. This is America’s future with the GOP.
[….]

Damn, I pissed off a lot of men who want to control women. Dear men, When you get pregnant you can decide what to do for yourself. You however should not get to decide for me or any women.

A clump of tissue shouldn’t have more rights than my daughter.

“…None of your business”

The mistake of the reactionary majority in the U.S. Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning 50 years of women’s reproductive freedom inherent in Roe v Wade was in their apparent belief that people would do nothing in response.

“Oppression is so 1972”

They were wrong.
