Mark Alford (r) [2024 file photo].

What a maroon.

Today:

Congressman Mark Alford
[October 23, 2024]
Missouri is a pro-life state.
Amendment 3 would undo current protections for life by allowing abortions without any limits.
We must stay firm in our defense of the unborn.

There is much hilarity in the responses:

The one line I draw as a generally moderate conservative. Definitely stand pro-choice as a woman.

No it does not. This bill specifically says up to fetal viability.
STOP LYING

There is absolutely NOTHING about gender reassignment!
STOP LYING

ANDREW BAILEY IS PROMOTING TEEN PREGNANCY
[….]

There is nothing in this amendment about altering gender. Obviously been listening to some kind of crazy c*** designed to influence the vote. Like the other nonsense I’ve heard about pharmacists or nurses or dental hygenics performing abortion. You’re dumb enough to believe that nonsense then maybe you should just stay in your house and not interact with people.

No. “May” is absolute bullshit. gender reassignment has NOTHING to do with reproductive rights.
And ya’all better start thinking about the massive exodus of OBGYNs from red states because of these scorched earth laws.
YOU and YOURS will the ones that can’t get pabst smears, prenatal care, reproductive disease care like cervical or ovarian cancer, endometriosis, post menopausal care, emergency c-sections, and much more.

Prosecuting has to do with criminal charges.
There is NOTHING in the bill that prevents malpractice.

You’re lying again

I think health care providers are the best to determine that not you or the government.

clearly anyone that supports Trump is okay with lies

“Make America Great Again” – in Russian.

If Missouri is such a pro-life state, why isn’t there free healthcare for all, free school lunches, and free prenatal care for all pregnant mothers?

Well?

Don’t forget the lawsuit to INCREASE Teen Pregnancy. It’s not about the fetus, it’s about keeping women in chains.

Andrew Bailey (r).

gaslighting is dangerous. Supporting religious violence is dangerous. Withholding healthcare is a human rights violation. Imposing deleterious healthcare forcibly on individuals without their consent is a human rights violation.
Destroying colleges and hospitals, and supporting such destruction is questionably suspect.

Another Magat Lie,Marky Mark!!!

Congressman Mark Alford the people of Missouri are the face of Missouri. You are not Missouri, and we do not support or tolerate your support of religious violence in the gaslighting of the people of Missouri.
Your support of #fraud and your support of religious violence makes you #notfitforoffice

Mark Alford, your statement is factually incorrect, and I strongly suspect you have knowingly lied. The amendment would prohibit the Missouri Legislature from limiting abortion until fetal viability. There are express limits in amendment 3. I don’t care if you are pro-life or pro-choice, but as an elected official, you should have a moral and ethical responsibility to communicate with your constituents in an honest manner.

You misspelled Pro Forced Birth.

Congressman Mark Alford any state that inflicts the death penalty is not a pro-life state.
Gaslighting is dangerous.

radical is a woman bleeding out at home from a non viable pregnancy and feeling forced to flee to another state due to fear that doctors in Missouri will delay service due to her, not being sick enough.
Radical is forcing CHILDREN to give birth to their rape victims baby. Will the rapist get visitation rights when he gets out of jail?
Radical is religious extremists forcing their life at conception views on everyone else when within the Jewish religion believe in life at first breath and many, with a more scientific mind, land more in the middle around fetal viability.
It doesn’t look like you will be pregnant anytime soon, so who cares right?

Pro life would mean protecting women to make medical choices with health care professionals not congress people. It would mean not executing a man who had evidence he was innocent. These folks are not pro life. They are pro forcing others to follow their will. That is not freedom. That is not common sense. What to be home of freedom?
[….]

We wouldn’t be to this point had politicians crafted an abortion law utilizing facts, reason, and empathy but instead caved to religious extremists which didn’t even allow exemptions for rape and incest, which is estimated to have affected well over 5800 ++++ women with rape related pregnancies, in just Missouri, since the fall of Roe.
[….]

I respect your Christian values but they should not be used to craft legislation. Let women make their own decisions. Abortion for as an action pains me but I do not know the pain, mentally & physically, of what they are going through.

Any state that has the death penalty aren’t pro life states. What Missouri is under Republican control is a pro birth state that could care less about the child after it’s out of the womb.

The moral majority are neither! Missouri is not pro life. The majority of Americans are pro-choice and believe politicians should stay out of our bedrooms and doctor’s offices. Quit lying to your constituents Mark!

When will you be introducing a bill that requires everyone to be an organ donor, after death?
What about forcing everyone to be tested to see if they are a match, so they can be forced to donate a kidney, to save the life of someone who’s already alive and paying taxes?

Really? Then how did it get enough signatures to get on the ballot? When it is a state constitutional right after November 4th, will you tell the same story?

What does the bible say about liars…

“Mind your own damn business” T. Walz

All the men in these comments that don’t know what a speculum is. Don’t know the anatomy of a vagina. Are likely to be a dead beat parent after saying she shouldn’t have a choice…. Is astonishing. Go jerk your tiny appendage around a little bit and worry about yourself.

Today at the Missouri Ethics Commission for advocates of “right to get paid less”:

C180291 06/15/2018 Missourians For Freedom To Work The National Right to Work Committee 8001 Braddock Rd Ste 500 Springfield VA 22151 6/15/2018 $200,000.00

[emphasis added]

Now “Missourians for Freedom” has at least $400,000.00.

They have money. There are more of us than there are of them.

….The National Right to Work Committee (NRTWC), the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation (NRTWLDF), and the National Institute for Labor Relations Research are a related group of nonprofits that have been the national leaders in the effort to destroy public and private sector unions by pushing anti-union legislation at the state and federal level and by bringing lawsuits, such as the 2014 Harris vs. Quinn pending in the U.S. Supreme Court. In 2012, the three groups combined reported over $25 million in revenue.[1] NRTWC reported $11,071,587 in revenue in 2013.

While the NRTWC claims to be a “nonpartisan, single-purpose citizens’ organization,” a Center for Responsive Politics analysis on the National Right to Work Committee PAC shows that 100% of its political contributions have gone to Republicans….

At the Federal Election Commission:

Committee name: THE NATIONAL RIGHT TO WORK COMMITTEE PAC
Mailing address: 8001 BRADDOCK ROAD
NORTH SPRINGFIELD, VA 221512110
Treasurer: MOURAD, GREGORY W. MR.
Committee type: PAC – Qualified
Committee designation: Unauthorized

Well, that’s the same address.

Where else have they contributed money?:

THE NATIONAL RIGHT TO WORK COMMITTEE PAC JUDGE ROY MOORE FOR US SENATE AL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION 11/01/2017 $5,000.00

[emphasis added]

THE NATIONAL RIGHT TO WORK COMMITTEE PAC VICKY HARTZLER FOR CONGRESS MO CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION 09/26/2017 $500.00

Interesting company. Alrighty then.
