Jason Kander @JasonKander
I deleted a tweet about my anger about Republican politicians and guns. Not because I don’t stand by the feeling or because anyone disagreed with me (y’all seemed to be rooting me on).
I deleted it because it just didn’t add anything and I wasn’t proud of it.

Fine with me – it should be “fewer guns” not fewer doors. A couple of years ago I went to see my childhood grade school in North St Louis and found all the doors locked – had to use a call box and explain why I was on the property and why I wanted to come in. As I walked around all eyes were on me and a person walked several feet behind me everywhere I went. When I attended there, in the early fifties, all doors were unlocked and we played outside at recess and came and went freely. Schools have become prisons.
