Money! From everywhere.

Today at the Missouri Ethics Commission for Eric Greitens’ (r) 2016 gubernatorial campaign:

C151053 10/19/2016 GREITENS FOR MISSOURI Herzog Railroad Services PO Box 518 St Joseph MO 64502 10/19/2016 $100,000.00

[emphasis added]

Just passing through, from a Sarah and David’s family PAC.

C151053 10/19/2016 GREITENS FOR MISSOURI Committee for Accountable Government Missouri 7509 NW Tiffany Springs Prkwy STE 300 Kansas City MO 64153 10/19/2016 $500,000.00

[emphasis added]

Still working on that all important average campaign contribution number. In the wrong direction.

From out of state (what else is new?):

C151053 10/19/2016 GREITENS FOR MISSOURI Suburban Automotive Consultants Inc PO Box 909 Troy MI 48099 10/19/2016 10,000.00

C151053 10/19/2016 GREITENS FOR MISSOURI James Parsons 141 E. 72nd St. Floor 14 New York NY 10021 Junto Capital Management CEO 10/19/2016 $50,000.00

The Bronx is up, but the Battery’s down. Curiously, neither is in Missouri.

Update:

Dave!

C151053 10/19/2016 GREITENS FOR MISSOURI Dave Spence 2021 Warson Rd St Louis MO 63124 Legacy Packaging CEO 10/19/2016 $15,000.00

Why on earth would someone from New Jersey care so much (to the tune of $10,000.00) about who becomes the next Missouri Attorney General? Just asking.

The October Quarterly Campaign Finance reports were due at the Missouri Ethics Commission today. From Josh Hawley’s (r) 2016 campaign for Attorney General:

C151132: Hawley For Missouri
Committee Type: Candidate
Party Affiliation: Republican
Po Box 1073
Columbia Mo 65205
Established Date: 07/23/2015
[….]
Information Reported On: 2016 – October Quarterly Report
Beginning Money on Hand $1,152,678.76
Monetary Receipts + $3,271,840.81
Monetary Expenditures – $99,871.46
Contributions Made – $1,000.00
Other Disbursements – $0.00
Subtotal $3,170,969.35
Ending Money On Hand $4,323,648.11

[emphasis added]

The contributions to Josh Hawley’s campaign from July 1 August 28 to September 30, 2016:

joshhawley101716a

$2,006,250.00 of the total came in four contributions (one of them in-kind for a relatively small amount) from a single entity. Determining before Election Day who wrote the check(s) to the PAC to accumulate this amount will probably be next to impossible.

Another $1,000,000.00 of the total came from two individuals associated with TAMKO.

Does it look like there’s an agenda in here somewhere? Just asking.

$172,501.00 came from nineteen individuals or entities who contributed in amounts between $5,000.00 and $25,000.00.

$101,214.81 came from individuals who contributed in amounts between $5.00 and $3,000.00.

joshhawley101716b

As far as we can determine, approximately 77% of the money contributed to Josh Hawley’s campaign from July 1 to September 30, 2016 came from out-of-state addresses. That proportion has not changed for the better for the third quarter since last year.

Campaign Finance: the $2,000,000.00 (and counting) candidate (September 4, 2016)

Campaign Finance: nothing exceeds like excess (September 26, 2016)

Campaign Finance: just passing through, again (September 29, 2016)

Campaign Finance: Gee, don’t hold back, show us how you really feel…

The PAC which hauled in $4,000,000.00 from another PAC on Thursday passed through a big chunk of it today.

Erics Greitens (r) [2016 file photo].

Erics Greitens (r) [2016 file photo].

Today at the Missouri Ethics Commission for Eric Greitens’ (r) 2016 gubernatorial campaign:

C151053 10/17/2016 GREITENS FOR MISSOURI Republican Governors Association – Missouri 1747 Penn. Ave. NW Suite 250 Washington DC 20006 10/17/2016 $2,500,000.00

[emphasis added]

Gee, that’s $9,500,000.00 total contributed to this one campaign from one entity. So far. And we don’t have any idea who wrote the check(s) to get to this $2,500,000.00 or that $9,500,000.00. So far.

It’s obscene.

So much for transparency.

Sigh. You’d think a Washington, D.C. republican PAC would want to drop a lot of money on this race.
