Can this be interpreted as anything other than a mockery?
I suppose it serves the purpose of keeping the guy in the daily headlines…crowding out actual news and information.
He doesn’t care.
It’s the arrogance of self-perceived absolute power.
For those who are directly affected, it’s an extension of control. If one accepts this, then they will accept more. It becomes just another step in the journey.
