Last month:

Eric Burlison
December 7, 2023
I am excited and honored to give Donald J. Trump my total endorsement and support in his 2024 presidential campaign.
No president has been more impactful in my lifetime than President Trump. For decades, presidents talked about objectives that never materialized. Under the leadership of President Trump, we became an energy independent nation. Under President Trump’s leadership, peace had been brought to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords. Under President Trump’s vision, we were able to grow the economy at an unprecedented rate. And under his direction, the southern border was actually closed.
President Trump is a patriot who risked his fortune and his reputation for love of his country and in return, he was falsely investigated on bogus charges and experienced an insurrection from the deep state to remove him from office. The prosecutions against him today are obvious shams and unAmerican. If we are to save our country from devolving into a tyrannical nation like we see in third world countries, we must correct these wrongs and re-elect President Trump. If we don’t, history will record that we allowed our country to extinguish the rule of law.
[….]

Bad combover. Check. Too long red tie. Check. Orange spray tan. Check. Tiny hands. Check. Cluelessness. Check. Arraignment. Check.

Some of the responses:

I prefer to maintain our current form of democracy – a constitutional republic. The majority of REPUBLICANS that worked for Trump keep telling us how dangerous he is – I believe them. I will never vote for someone that planned a coup against our government or who will not accept the peaceful transition of power. It has been proven time and time again that he LIED about a stolen election.

How in your mind can you think it’s okay to vote for someone who let so many die of COVID? Someone with over 90 indictments? Someone who started in insurrection? Denied election results? It’s not a witch hunt. Trump (and Burlison) unfit to lead.

[….] Gawww a million people passed away and folks still rally around the anti mask, anti vax, election deniers. They just won’t read, they just keep listening to Tucker and Sean.. even the new speaker thinks SEDITIONISTS who stormed the capital should be protected from our justice dept. what the heck?
It’s so frikkin sad to see. So much misinformation. [….]

I think if you are still pro trump today 12/13/2023, something is terribly wrong with your values.

Does it bother you that he attempted to overturn the last presidential election?

Wow. Trump sold us all out to the highest foreign bidder while in office, is demented and talks about being a Dictator on day one. We see you have no courage or sense of what’s right for Democracy. We will vote you all out.

You should be ashamed, Eric. You are the one who clearly has no regard for the rule of law.

Traitor supporting a traitor

We moved from Billy Long to Eric Burlison. I fail to see that any improvement has been made.

So you sold your soul!

91 criminal indictments

Trump just needs 11780 votes [….]

We see what you did there.

I’m sorry that you are feeling so threatened by the orange menace that you have to throw morality away. Is that why you ran for office in the first place, to end Democracy in the USA? Why support 91-felonies candidate? Why also did you vote to NOT expel George Santos? Again, some morality makes that decision much easier, and the resulting answer is different than your calculation. Do better.

Maga=nazi

Of course you endorse him. He is the ideal candidate for all fake Christians.

I don’t have time to refute each lie you spread in this piece of crap. Trump is a criminal, twice impeached and 4 times indicted on 91 felonies. He lost a fair, legitimate election and attempted to spur an insurrection to stay in power and overturn the constitution. Your endorsement shows you are no better than him. Have you no shame?

No. This has been another edition of Short Answers to Simple Questions.

you’re just another MAGA nazi who should never be allowed to hold any political office. You support a dictator wannabe and a traitor, and that’s about as un-American as it comes. [….]

Disgusting! Read the indictments. He’s a lying draft dodger. Resign you complicit pandering lying hack.

You are delusional and morally bankrupt just like the guy you’re supporting. Traitor.

You’re pathetic

What a complete load of crap. This post rids you of any credibility you may have had.

If you haven’t committed treason yet, I’m sure you will soon

Why not?

The out of towners:

Mark Alford
[December 30, 2023]
To all my Texas friends… would love to have you join us Feb 9th in Baytown Texas for a reunion of sorts and a fundraiser as we gear up for re-election to Congress.
Going to great to see old classmates.
[….]

Some of the responses:

But do they know where you’ve been fraternizing with that guy in Waco?

Texas has nothing to do with politics in Missouri.

Mark Alford [….] but they do have something to do with politics in DC and federal laws and issues we are working on.

Sure, Mark.

Mark Alford (r) [2023 file photo].

you are MO 4th rep not Baytown TX. You do not represent us and now you are going to Texas. Get in touch with the 4th for god’s sake.

go 4th yourself! [….]

been here in the 4th a long time. MO 4th needs representation full time and not sharing with Texas who had their own representation and problems. We are being over run with trash for one thing locally and truly need representation to realize that as well as the current problems the U.S. is facing. There are a lot of issues needing addressed here before going and worrying about anything in a large county in Texas. Preserving the government of our country sure outweighs the preservation of an ex-president’s ego.

A Texan:

Texas (in addition to every state in the country) has everything to do with politics on the national level. I live in Texas, supported Mark’s campaign and will absolutely support his re-election.

Mark Alford [….] hope to see you at the event

Mark Alford (r) [2023 file photo].

Texans supporting our candidates in Missouri is exactly one of the problems in our country. He should probably take care of home and keep it clean before working for other states. Drive down Highway 291 and Highway 50. Drive from his community to MCI and tell me what you see.

Your awesome Mark Alford

You’re.

Mark Alford You need to come visit Clinton, Mo.
