Former Vice President Joe Biden’s (D) presidential campaign held a get out the vote rally early yesterday evening at the Liberty Memorial in anticipation of Missouri’s presidential primary on Tuesday, March 10th. I estimate something over two thousand individuals in attendance.
The rally was held in the plaza atop the Liberty Memorial.
Former Missouri Governor Bob Holden (D) introduced Representative Emanuel Cleaver (D).
Representative Cleaver introduced Joe Biden.
Joe Biden’s remarks [edited for length and content]:
A few minutes into his remarks, two or three individuals started shouting. Joe Biden addressed them briefly and asked them to meet with him after he spoke.

As my husband & I stood in line (first photo at top) on March 7, 2020 we were assured by a campaign official that we would get into the outdoor event held at the base of the Liberty Memorial Tower in Kansas City, MO. While we waited we spoke with a woman from Louisiana and a woman from Wisconsin who walked over from a nearby convention hotel to hear the man who was to become our future president. Joe Biden went next to Michigan ahead of Michigan’s, Missouri’s and more March 10, 2020 primaries. He spoke next in Wilmington (DE), the day he & Jill began sheltering in place in their home there due to COVID-19. Bill & I along with millions of others around the world also did the same in our residences. [I still have my Missouri for Biden sign.]
