After brief introductory remarks Lindsey Simmons (D) engaged the students in a broad two-hour discussion about public higher education, voter engagement, and public service.

In the early evening, for the last event of the day, a meet and greet at a local restaurant in Belton. This, an opportunity for one on one conversations with Cass County Democrats.

That’s retail politics at work.
