First impressions: McCaskill gets A+ for form (she is GOOD!); C for the amount of pandering — but then again, it’s got to be lonely on a podium in front of a bunch of screaming yahoos so maybe I should cut her serious slack.
And maybe, just maybe, some of the truly confused among the teapartiers (as opposed to the ideologically impermeable) went home with just a little clearer understanding that the black helicopters will not descend the day after a health care reform bill is signed.
We’ll have a couple reports on McCaskill’s town hall once hotflash and Michael get back and get a chance to write their thoughts down.
I can only imagine the problems Michael is going to have trying to write down a transcript with the background noise at the townhall.
