A great beginning to the 73(+1) hrs of GOTV by OBAMA CAMPAIGN IN MISSOURI.

Warrensburg, MO is one of those small towns of Missouri that has voted for a Republican presidential candidate in the last 5 out of the 6 presidential races. The only time a Democratic candidate won this town and county was 1992, that too mainly because Ross-Perot ate away Daddy Bush’s votes. In fact the margin of difference was less than 5%, however, times are changing. Yesterday, we were sitting at the OBAMA HEADQUARTERS wondering where are our volunteers going to be coming from, and then this morning we had people drive 5 to 6 hrs from Oklahoma City and various other parts of the country come to this part of Missouri. This is truly amazing. In fact, we also had couple of celebrities (Bradley Cooper- wedding trashers, nip tuck) &(Sarah Jane Morris- brothers and sisters) come down to Warrensburg to encourage youth voters as part of the GOTV process. All in all, it was a great day, i myself knocked on 130 doors as part of the canvassing.
