Today, after receiving the legislation from the General Assembly, Governor Mike Parson signed HB 2909 into law, approving the proposed boundaries for Missouri’s eight congressional districts.

…’This past session, we saw a few individuals’ political posturing obstruct key pieces of priority legislation and promote inefficient and ineffective government. It’s unfortunate so much time and productivity were lost just to receive a map with the same partisan split that was proposed six months ago. These past months could have been better used by county clerks implementing a new map and preparing for upcoming elections’…

The Sixth Congressional District goes across the state.

Boone County (Columbia) is split between the Third and Fourth Congressional Districts.

Jackson County and surroundings, well, just take a look at it.

The Fourth Congressional District starts to swallow the Third Congressional District which almost completely swallows the Second Congressional District.
