Late on Monday night an extensive U.S. Supreme Court draft majority opinion by Samuel Alito was leaked indicating the court will reverse Roe v Wade (1973). On Tuesday the Supreme Court confirmed that the document was authentic.
Today in Kansas City several hundred pro-choice demonstrators gathered at Mill Creek Park for a rally and picketing.
Support for the demonstrators from passing traffic came in the form of honking horns, raised arms and fists, and shouts of encouragement.
A very small anti-choice contingent (men, of course) showed up at various times during the demonstration.
The pro-choice demonstrators were diverse and came from many generations. They’re pissed off and activated. This is not going away.
“Now you’ve pissed off grandma”

Anti-choice mansplaining:
Someone never fails to make that mistake – berating a large gathering of pissed off women. They didn’t back down. Which seemed to upset him even more.
“I’m here for my grandchildren.”
“Keep your policies off my body”
“Up yours”
“Against abortion? Get a vasectomy”
“Mind your dick”

“Pro-life is a lie. You don’t care if people die”
“…I must demand that you stop trying to deny me the rights all people deserve”
“Abortion should be safe, legal, and easily accessible”
“Keep your filthy laws off my silky drawers”
“Get your own, then tell it what to do”
“Against abortion? Get a vasectomy”
“I will not be told what to do by a man who can’t even find the clitoris”
“Don’t tread on me”
“Fuck the patriarchy”
“Pro Roe”
“Our arms are tired off holding these signs since the 1960s”
“Girls just wanna have fundamental rights”
“No uterus, no opinion”
An interview with KCUR radio:
“Our moms and grandmas fought for this”
“You are fucking with the wrong generation”
“No country for old men”
