Today, via Twitter, an account of a 4th Congressional District constituent meeting with Steve Walsh, Communications Director for Representative Vicky Hartzler (r):
Taunia @Taunia_Adams
.@RepHartzler’s staffer Steve says Hartzler’s signature on Oct 8 Social Security Cuts was forged. 5:34 PM – 14 Nov 13
Apparently, Representative Hartzler (r) signed one letter and that was attached to a cover letter that was substantively different from the original letter.
Misrepresentation might be a better word in describing what transpired.
We understand there’s video of the constituent meeting.
The video.
Well, that was somewhat raucous.
You’d think one member of Congress would call out another member of Congress who attached the first member’s letter to the second member’s cover letter which was substantively different from the original signed letter. You’d think.
Representative Hartzler’s (r) letter:
Reducing the revenue for Social Security to less than half of what it is now will somehow save it for the future? Really? What color is the sky in Representative Hartzler’s world. You know, the one with candy rainbows, lollipop orchards, and unicorns.
And the cover letter was worse. It would be difficult to be much more so, but it manages nicely.
