The Missouri republican party continues to prop up Denny Hoskins (r-noun, verb, CPA) with attack mail directed at Courtney Cole (D) in the 121st Legislative District race.

The Missouri republican party continues to prop up Denny Hoskins (r) with attack mail.

Because “guilty by association” is an American value?
So, the Missouri republican party believes that “guilty by association” is an American value.
And the inconvenient fact that the republican incumbent failed to pay $20,000.00 in property taxes when they were due is something that should apparently be ignored. *IOKIYAR
* it’s okay if you’re a republican

Let’s see. They keep recycling this stuff from their previous attack mail:
“…Cole is a card-carrying member of a liberal special interest group…”
Uh, Courtney Cole (D) is a high school teacher. The footnote refers to the Missouri National Education Association (MNEA), a group which advocates for our children and our public schools.
Uh, didn’t that “card carrying” bullshit go out with the anti-fluoridation whack jobs from the fifties? Apparently not. Same type of right wing extremists, different wedge issues….
When attacked with this drech Courtney Cole does what any self respecting fighter and Democratic Party candidate would do. She meets and engages with voters one on one.

Courtney Cole (D) at a campaign event this evening in Montserrat, Missouri in eastern Johnson County.

Previously – on the campaign mail in the 121st Legislative District:
“Noun, Verb, CPA”: Hoskins (r) mail attack on Cole (D) in the 121st Legislative District race (October 8, 2010)
Hoskins (r) mail attack on Cole (D) in the 121st Legislative District race, part 2 (October 9, 2010)
Courtney Cole (D) in the 121st Legislative District: mail – a constructive outlook for the district (October 10, 2010)
Denny Hoskins (r) in the 121st Legislative District: Mail? What mail? (October 12, 2010)
Courtney Cole (D) in the 121st Legislative District: mail – and who didn’t pay their taxes? (October 13, 2010)
In Missouri if you fail to pay your property taxes on time you have to run against Barack Obama (October 14, 2010)
Did I get that picture right? According to Denny “the Deadbeat” Hoskins, being a liberal makes you a criminal.
I wish I was at home to get my postcard.
Oh, and I know Courtney Cole. I’m sure she is flattered that in that mug shot she is 6 feet tall.
This ad campaign is disgusting. I hope the good people of Johnson County find it disgusing too and vote out Denny “the Deadbeat.”
While I know that logic has no place when considering GOP propaganda, I can not resist the application of of critical thinking even when its obviously inappropriate. Sorry about that.
This mailer claims that Ms. Cole: a) supports gay-marriage, and b) marches in lock-step with President Obama. But President Obama opposes gay marriage. Therefore, both claims can not be true. Modus tollendo tollens.
Come on, Republicans. I’m not asking that your mailer demonstrate the merit of your dodgy candidate — that would be unreasonable — I’m only asking that you stop funding fliers that contradict themselves.
