You should add the Mike Lux event as an “event” over on the left.
in the past few years, some cable series have reached an amazing level of narrative complexity and subtlety — the equivalent of epic novels. The Wire was/is the very best of all of them — which one can really appreciate by watching each season on DVDs –all-at-once more or less. Thanks for reminding me. And as for the Pogues (During McNulty’s wild drunks when he is in his car he usually has the Pogues as a background, incidentally), you have inspired me — While I work today I think I’ll listen to If I fall from Grace with God .
