Paul LeVota is obviously pretty prolific in getting money to our candidates (as seen here). So while we’re waiting, how about Assistant Minority Floor Leader J. C. Kuessner?

Committe: KUESSNER COMMITTEE

2. ALL MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED THIS PERIOD  $19,550.00

11. EXPENDITURES MADE BY CASH OR CHECK THIS PERIOD $5,615.06

17. ALL MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS MADE THIS PERIOD $12,200.00

28. MONEY ON HAND AT THE CLOSE OF THIS REPORTING PERIOD $19,618.07

So, where is the money going?

Kuessner wrote lots of checks on October 7th, and here’s who got the money.

Keri Cottrell (HD1/$300), Rebecca McClanahan (HD2/$300), Mike Hepler (HD3/$200), Mike Waltemath (HD5/$200), Harry Wyse (HD7/$200), Tom Shively (HD8/$300), Kristy Manning (HD16/$200), Kenny Biermann (HD17/$200), David Moen (HD20/$200), Kelly Schultz (HD21/$200), Gail Brown (HD22/$200), Chris Kelly (HD24/$200), Terry Stone (HD33/$200), Barbara Lanning (HD36/$200), Vicki Englund (HD85/$200), Jeanne Kirkton (HD91/$200), Deb Lavender (HD94/$200), Linda Fischer (HD107/$200), Kent Cunningham (HD109/$200), Kristi Kenney (HD120/$200), Jim Jackson (HD121/$300), Beth Grubb (HD122/$200), Carla Keough (HD125/$200), Charles Dake (HD132/$200), Nancy Hagan (HD135/$200), Nick Beatty (HD136/$200), Wayne Bledsoe (HD149/$200), Michael Winder (HD156/$200), and Bill Burlison (HD159/$200)

That’s $6200 donated to 29 different candidates.

Kuessner also donated $300 to Sam Page on October 7th, $500 to Clint Zweifel on October 17th, and $200 more to Linda Fischer on October 20th.

Oh yeah, Kuessner also donated $5000 to the HDCC on October 19th. That might be a bit useful. Maybe. Perhaps.

But yes, the money is moving out there to get the Democratic Party up to 82 seats and beyond in the Missouri State House. And for the sake of Jay Nixon’s first term, let’s hope we pull it out.
