At a point of time, when America is dwindling in a severe economic crisis, all that the McCain Campaign is debating is whether they should highlight Rev. Wright as an issue or not. Ironically, this comes at a point of time when “Country First” is the slogan of change for the Republican Party. However, this isn’t the first time that the GOP has contradicted its own statements. In the recent past they have taunted the democrats for being unpatriotic for raising taxes, while not highlighting the fact that wars utilize the tax payer’s money. From Regan to McCain, all have chanted for deregulation and less government in the GOP, and yet in present day times as well as in history we all have witnessed that eventually it is the government that revives us from a depression. However, the McCain-Palin Campaign has other ways of describing their slogan such as Ayers-Wright first, while economy and country last.
