It’s a similar story in Missouri, where 49 percent of those polled are backing Obama and 48 percent supporting McCain. That’s a gain for Obama, who was down five points to McCain in our last poll in Missouri, taken three weeks ago. Thursday’s night’s Vice Presidential debate is being held in St. Louis, Missouri. The only other new poll in Missouri, a Research 2000 survey, indicates McCain ahead by one point.
No juicy internals yet.
Also, next Wednesday is the deadline for getting those Obama supporters who are not registered (at all, or at their current address). Just saying. The difference between a win and a loss in Missouri could be very narrow.
I saw that pollster.com took us out of the “lean republican” column and put us in the tossup column, where we belong.
This is good news. But no reason to stop the hard necessary to pull this out.
